Despite only having six main stages, THPS 3 is a game that will last for a surprisingly long time.
-
From the texturized polygons on the characters for extra realism to the bone crunching sound effects, this game simply delivers everything you could ever want in a game, including a multiplayer mode.
-
Although the game is much like Tony Hawk 2, overall this makes the better total package, and the addition of the multiplayer alone makes it worth getting.
-
Game InformerThe gameplay is thoroughly engaging. [Apr 2002, p.89]
-
Although they did add some great things to Tony Hawk 3 for Game Boy Advance, its essentially the same game.
-
Nintendo PowerA remarkable 3-D achievement and more features than ever. [Mar 2002, p.135]
-
The complex environments from the console games are here, but the small size kills the visual detail, and the 3/4-overhead perspective makes those levels much harder to navigate.
