A brilliant game that crossed tower defense with third person action and a hint of the good old RPG. Played cooperatively this little gem will keep you going for hours on end.

Super Mario Party is still a game about backstabbing your friends and rubbing it in when you get a star right in front of their noses.

F1 2011 offers an very solid racing model, spectacular weather effects and is overall a highly authentic Formula One-game. A certain lack of polish in some areas prevents it from becoming a true classic, though don't let that stop you.

Snipperclips is a couch co-op game you can play anywhere you want. The style, charm and puzzle solving elements, combined with the ease of handing one of your Joy-Con to a friend for a quick game, makes this a very appealing experience and the best showcase for the Nintendo Switch as a local multiplayer console.

I wont be suprised if this game boosts the Wii U sales. Mario Kart 8 is as much fun as Mario Kart games have always been, but never before has the world seen a more beautiful game in the Mario series. The innovation that lets players drive upside down doesn't really influence the experience, but this game is sure to provide hours of joy.

Turn 10 makes amends for a lackluster fifth installment with a solid racing game. Packed with 26 tracks both old and new, and 460 cars makes this a massive game. The driving and feedback is better than ever before, and night and rain has a huge impact on the gameplay. Forza has never looked better.

Pikmin 4 is downright charming and playful from start to finish. The simple elements of strategy mean that even the most inexperienced tactician can delegate responsibility, collect treasure and send creatures into war with a smile on their face.

The Swapper is clever, creepy, beautiful and bizarre all at the same time. It stands out with tight gameplay, macabre music and actually hand-crafted visuals. The puzzles are challenging and at the same time The Swapper asks some surprisingly philosophical questions, which makes the story interesting. This gaming experience will stick with you for a long time.

The developers at The Chinese Room could have focused even more on the story. They could have reduced the combat, and made the power of a vampire a rarer element that only appears when necessary. I'm not going to complain though, this is a great adventure with vampires in the lead role, and we don't have too many of them.

Overall FIFA 16 feels more like a complete package compared to earlier installments in the series. New nifty changes to the gameplay and a few fresh concepts like women’s football makes it the best FIFA game so far.

The improvements that have been made are very good, and it is absolutely fantastic to be able to play this classic with such beautiful graphics as what Broken Sword Reforged offers. The new character animations are night and day compared to the original, and really show how much better these are than the 3D models used in newer games.

It's a thought-provoking and complex coda to the game that impressed us so much in 2016. But it also has something important of its own to say. And I've never heard anything like it in a computer game before.

Awakening is a great expansion. It delivers around 20 hours of role-playing goodness, which flows better and is more varied than what we got in the original game. We also get new and interesting characters and a bunch of new abilities and items to play with.

A unique and engaging game of exploration, that manages to be challenging without any real combat or puzzles. It can also be quite tense and scary, as you're being stalked by a lone, but very dangerous, predator.

Persona 3 Reload fixes some obvious problems from the earlier versions, but otherwise the game is as we like it, just in a newer guise. The result is a rare polished game where the small details stand out and matter. The insanely good flow in the battles demonstrates that Atlus still is among the best in the industry on this front.

Splinter Cell: Conviction is faster and more action oriented than previous games in the series. It's getting closer to a third person shooter, but Conviction has not lost its unique Fisheresque soul. This is great entertainment.

Even 20 years after its original release, there is still nothing quite like Outcast. I do prefer the HD version from a few years back, which has more distinct visuals and provides a smoother experience, but it hardly matters when you have a game with such a powerful vision.
