The world of Zeno Clash II is one big acid-trip. It's one of the most bizarre games in which your fists are the two primary weapons. Behind the absurd look there's an interesting story, but Zeno Clash II drops the ball on certain key gameplay mechanics.

Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Heroes 3 looks like it mostly targets the fans of the anime. There's nothing wrong with the presentation, long story mode, roster of available fighters and attainable extras. However, the lousy gameplay and lack of challenge take most of the fun out of it.

Game & Wario has its moments, but these are mostly hidden under layers of dust and mediocrity, which is ironic for a series that managed to abstain itself from becoming a drag thus far. It uses the gamepad inventively from time to time, but that’s not enough to sell this technology to a wider audience. And that, is what Nintendo was hoping for in the first place.

At first glance Watchmen looks like a nice surprise with its beautiful style and delicious combat system. But after a while the repeating level design and gameplay elements will have you thinking otherwise. Nevertheless, we'll be waiting for episode two, because we're convinced that there is light and the end of the tunnel.

Car Mechanic Simulator 2014 lacks the variety to entertain for very long, or the depth to succeed as a simulator. It’s nothing more than a series of one note puzzles.

Still haven't got a Wii-mote Plus or a Wii-mote Plus accessory? Then the Wii Play Motion might just be interesting for you. For fifty Euros, you'll get the controller including twelve mini-games of fluctuating quality. That's all one should expect from it.

Beyond Eyes offers a unique concept that is great in concept and graphics. However, the gameplay does not really inspire as much as those elements, so it is very easy to become bored and annoyed by this piece of art too.

In a few months no one will look back to Hunted: The Demon Forge. The only aspect of the game that might stick, would be the atrocious artificial intelligence. It doesn't really offer the player anything to keep playing, and therefore it simply scores below average.

Risen is a RPG like you would expect from Piranha Bytes: an interesting world that dynamically reacts to your actions, filled with enough quests, areas and secrets to keep you busy for hours. But it's also filled with bugs and design flaws that will ruin the experience for most gamers.

This should have been a glorious comeback for EA's golf series, but it is a let-down. Especially because it takes everything away that made the last games with Tiger Woods so much fun.

Ubisoft hasn't succeeded in getting the full potential from Shaun White Snowboarding. Some gameplay elements, like the enormous freedom and control, aren't that fantastic in the end. But the good online mode and the beautiful surroundings make up for it.

Captain America: Super Soldier delivers solid entertainment, be it short. The original story lacks a proper introduction and the smooth combat-system feels somewhat borrowed, but that doesn't spoil the fun. The flat AI and graphical issues do, unfortunately.

There’s no shortage of ambition here, but the game is too simple and repetitive to really consider it fun. The game wants to be an RPG sometimes, but it always results in dumb, simple action without any tactic. Avatar is a misses opportunity.

Defiance has the honor of being the first open world shooter-MMO on consoles. The game absolutely has its fun moments, but there are too many technical problems that bring down the good fundamentals. The biggest evildoer is the framerate, that can get pretty nauseating during large firefights, and negatively affects the response time. Underneath these glitches hides a good and well thought-out game.

With its pretty pictures, Ryse: Son of Rome doesn't manage to hide that it has the depth of a glass of water. The far from perfect combat system turns the game into a bore in no-time.

The biggest fans of Bakugan might not be bothered with this game’s many flaws, but the average gamer won’t have a lot of fun playing Battle Brawlers. After a promising start, the game starts to get boring very fast. The repetitive and frustrating minigames don’t help either, but the worst offender is the fighting itself: it should be the highlight of the game but it’s over in a blink.

Dead to Rights: Retribution might not be particularly bad in a certain aspect, but it’s so mediocre and uninspired that there is no valid reason to spend your time on it.

Despite the power of the blue Hedgehog, Sonic Unleashed never really impressed us. The game has its moments, but these moments are so rare and easily forgotten when you've reached the point where you almost throw your controller against the tv. The race levels are awesome, but with the heavy load of the uninspiring Werehog levels, those aren't even enough to give the game a sufficient grade.

The most important reason why Beijing 2008 doesn't work is that the events become plain boring after a few tries. After an hour of playtime your fingers will hurt from the button bashing. The multiplayer is alright, but you would do well to spend your money elsewere, unless you're a complete (Olympic) sportsfan.

Zack Zero is an uncomplicated action-platformer with lots of variation. The game might come across a slightly formulaic, but that doesn't negate all the fun you'll have completing all of the challenges to save your beloved Marlene.

Angry Birds Go isn't anything more than an attempt to make a quick buck. A shameless product that 'forgets' to be clear about how expensive it really is, and forces players to reach for their credit cards.

It is easy to call Brawlout a Super Smash Bros.-clone. It is, but this game choses competition over party and if you are ready to do a lot of grinding, you will thoroughly enjoy this game.

Space Siege is an outerspace Dungeon Siege clone. In short: there is a spaceship cramped with aliens and your the cleaning guy. With Chris 'Supreme Commander' Taylor behind te wheel Space Siege sounds promising. Unfortunatly Space Siege gives little satisfaction. All the necessary ingredients for a decent RPG are there, but there is no chef to make a nice meal out of it.

The jetpack might be a nice gimmick, but it’s not innovative enough to carry an entire game, especially since vertical cover can only be used in certain places. Everything else in Dark Void is as generic as generic can be. The level design, enemies, weapons and story, nothing stands out particularly. But for an eight hour single player-only experience, it should have.

Metal Gear Survive is a surprisingly entertaining survival sim. It can be frustrating, but then the sweet feeling of accomplishment is very awesome when things do work out the way you planned.
