Burial at Sea Episode 2 is much better than Episode 1. The underdeveloped sneaking function now is a fully featured gameplay element. And where Episode 1 mostly addressed the Infinite-fans, Episode 2 turns out to be a hoot for lovers of the original BioShock.- Gamer.nl

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Call of Pripyat is in some way the best game in the series. The world is big and the world is more living than ever. Fans will love it, but for newcomers Call of Pripyat might be a bit too dated and inaccessible.- Gamer.nl

Paper Mario: The Origami King offers a grand adventure with delightful creativity that can be found in every corner of the game. The renewed fighting system that revolves around circles knows how to tickle your brain, although it takes some getting used to. Even without in-depth RPG elements, The Origami King succeeds perfectly in combining the highlights of the franchise with successful innovations.- Gamer.nl

Naruto 2: The Broken Bond is in every aspect an improvement of Rise of the Ninja. If you enjoyed the first game than you'll definitely like this one. Because the game is very easy to master and the various game elements offer excellent gameplay the game is ideal for gamers that are new to the series. And even if you do have an natural intolerance against cartoony game characters you will still play the game with a smile on your face.- Gamer.nl

F1 Manager 2022 is a nice attempt to translate the premier class of motorsport into a management game. However, the lack of draft means that you will be happy to leave the pitlane after a season or two.- Gamer.nl

The Metroid-esque adventure game Capsized is cleverly put together. The multifunctional weapons and the refreshing puzzles give the player enough space to develop their own playstyle. On design and technical terms it might also be one of the most impressive indie-games of the year.- Gamer.nl

Skate 3 is the best skateboarding game out there. It’s certainly no revolution, but due to its strong gameplay and some great additions we will be impressed if Shaun White and Tony Hawk will reach this standard.- Gamer.nl

Enslaved takes players 150 years into the future, in a world where both creation and destruction flourish. Its overwhelming beauty of nature entangled with machinery requires a moment to digest. Sadly, the game rarely allows for such sightseeing. Instead players are forcibly dragged through every scene of the game, which then comes to an abrupt close. Ultimately they are left with a very convincing movie, without the gameplay to back it up.- Gamer.nl

Judgment uses the absurdity and world-building of Sega's Yakuza series to tell a wry and ambiguous story about a private investigator. The storytelling is not very subtle, the combat system is hardly innovative and the game world is rarely unique. Still, when it comes to quality, this detective game can easily compete with the best Yakuza parts.- Gamer.nl

Whoever hasn't fallen in love with cars yet, will be after playing Forza Motorsport 5. It's incredibly beautiful and races like a dream. The used business model that leans on micro transactions has many consequences for the distribution and availability of the content though.- Gamer.nl

Dustforce is a bittersweet experience for PC-gamers. It's a robust platform game with colourful graphics and an original concept, but you can get frustrated pretty easily thanks to unexpected difficulty spikes. It's a price we are willing to pay though!- Gamer.nl

WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 2009 combines just what WWE SmackDown vs. RAW 2008 already offered but with a Road to Wrestlemania mode, with better character-creation options and a very entertaining Tag Team mode. Simply put, WWE SmackDown vs. RAW 2009 is the most complete and best wrestling game on the market and a must have for you spandex loving wrestle fans.- Gamer.nl

The New Order is not only your typical shooter with a fine story, it's also the result of poor and old-fashioned design choices. Therefore, it can be quite the task to complete the ten-hour single-player. It's a shame the game never breaks with the conventions of the genre. MachineGames could have offered the series a new perspective, but they didn't succeed.- Gamer.nl

Once again Sega delivers a fascinating adventure. The action is over the top, the story very well written and Tokyo offers an infinite amount of adventure. Sometimes you notice the game is a bit old, but it doesn't change the overall experience.- Gamer.nl

Fifa Football is a good variant for on the road that'll remain interesting for the remainder of the soccer season. Too bad it struggles at times of which frame drops are the result, and a few key features of Fifa 12 have been left out.- Gamer.nl

NBA Jam is as much fun as fifteen years ago. It's a missed opportunity that EA hasn't brought the game to modern times, however, as the lack of options like an online mode would have greatly expanded the replayability.- Gamer.nl

The Magic Circle is an unfinished game in which you play a game about a game that is unfinished; a satirical opinion on the games industry and community. The voice acting is spot on, the world is minimalistic but rich and the unique game mechanics and strong story are making you wonder if you are playing the game, or if the game is playing you.- Gamer.nl

Rock Band Unplugged brings the gameplay we know and love from the consoles to the PSP. The control feels very natural on the portable system and the soundtrack is impressive. However, Unplugged doesn't offer many new songs and the lack of multiplayer is a missed opportunity.- Gamer.nl

Metroid: Other M has two sides. The presentation is far from perfect, with cinematics that offer cliché after cliché and in-game graphics that aren't as detailed as the Prime-series. But the new gameplay is an unexpected mix between different Metroid-games of the past and impresses. Metroid: Other M takes some time to take off, but once it does, it latches onto you like a Metroid and holds its grip until you've played to the end.- Gamer.nl

Puzzle Craft acts like it combines two genres, a puzzle game and a city builder, but in reality only the puzzle portion remains standing. The three-in-a-row section is well executed and has a few fresh, new elements, but never really reaches challenging heights.- Gamer.nl

Bookworm Adventures 2 is a typical PopCap-game: simple and annoyingly addictive. You want to play for ten minutes, but before you know it two hours have passed. The game deserves a thumb up, but is only for those with a decent English vocabulary.- Gamer.nl

MMA has enough moments that are worthwhile. It's just too bad that EA hasn't learned from the strong and weak points of the competition. The controls aren't always working properly and the number of modes are a little on the thin side. However, true MMA-fans will be able to ignore these faults.- Gamer.nl

An enjoyable but flawed game. Some moments you think it’s the best thing on earth, when you think up an object that you thought couldn’t help you solve a puzzle but you suddenly use it in an inventive way. Other times you will be bored thanks to the reuse of items or frustrated with the loose controls.- Gamer.nl

The sequel to the immensely popular Temple Run isn't a game that reinvents the genre or does anything radically new. It's the same infectious concept as its predecessor but with a few minor differences. That means it's still an addicting game that you'll probably play for longer than you were expecting.- Gamer.nl

Dead or Alive Dimensions doesn't just play like an Greatest Hits edition of a great fighting game, it feels like one. While the first notion is an absolute plus, the second one isn't. there are no new characters, no new storyline and barely any new moves. Only the new online functionalities will draw the hardcore fanbase in.- Gamer.nl
