PES 2012 gives you spectacular football if you practice enough. But some faults make this a step in the right direction, not the ultimate football game.- Gamer.nl

Rarely do we come across a game that has as much unutilized potential as Pokémon Conquest. There's a strategic piece of art in which the micromanaging of different conquered kingdoms and collected Pokémon warriors would have delivered depth. Instead of that, we get a simple and short strategy game of which there's nothing wrong with its fundamentals, but all extra options and functions are unnecessary.- Gamer.nl

Soul Calibur: Broken Destiny proves that a fighting game can work well on a handheld. Is it easier to slam the buttons on a arcade stick? Probably, but the ability to fight while traveling is a great alternative. The many modes and options and brilliant graphics, combined with the greatly balanced gameplay from Soul Calibur, makes this game a treat on the PSP. The lack of online-play and a storymode is hard to swallow, but fans don't lose a lot. It's a great handheld game.- Gamer.nl

The gameplay is easy but intuitive and it has definitely drawn inspiration from Pokemon Go. While both games are extremely attractive and cute, the game might be a bit too simple and shallow for the fans.- Gamer.nl

On the outside The Last Story appears to be nothing more than a stereotypical role playing game, but look scan be deceiving. It's actually a quick and daring action game that only falls back to its roots during the story. It's a surprising take on the genre, and makes for a very modern experience.- Gamer.nl

Nidhogg 2 successfully makes a well known and simplistic formula a lot less appetizing, but a lot more fun. There is plenty to do and the fights are great.- Gamer.nl

Boxboy is the ideal game for breaks. The simple design, short levels and learning curve are great. It is addictive, fun and very easy to play when waiting on the bus, so a good game to release on 3DS.- Gamer.nl

Although Tiger Woods is the golfer whom it is all about, the attention sort of slides from his lap onto the Master-tournament. This turns Tiger words PGA Tour 12: The Masters into an authentic and fresh golfing experience. It's just such a shame that Electronic Arts chose to keep all downloadable content and online functionalities tightly under their own care.- Gamer.nl

There's an astounding amount of things to do in Lego City Undercover. The story that can take player around ten hours to finish, is just the knob of the Lego-block. Afterwards there's much to build, wreck and collect. The biggest downside is that the city, that functions as a central hub to all of the content, is pretty boring.- Gamer.nl

Luftrausers is as much style as it is substance. The retro-appearance and spectacular action complement each other greatly in a hectic arcade shooter with a unique style. The tactical addictions make this a fully fledged game you'll want to keep playing.- Gamer.nl

Kirby's first outing on the 3DS is entertaining, nicely polished and has a few nice extra modes. Still, it isn't worth the price of a full 3DS game - a problem that Nintendo keeps running into with their games.- Gamer.nl

Age of wonders 3 perfectly simulates that one-more-click feeling. As an action packed turn based RPG it easily keeps you on the edge of your seat. This sensation is strengthened by a beautiful fantasy world and enormous battles. We’ve been struck with a case of national pride.- Gamer.nl

This is a Japanese role playing game that you do not see often anymore. The story is epic, the localisation makes characters into persons and everything combined makes this game a must have for JRPG lovers and gamers that appreciate a good story.- Gamer.nl

Second Son really provides that next-gen sensation with graphics, acting and action. A somewhat lackluster story and a lack of variety don't make Second Son less fun to play in any respect.- Gamer.nl

Guitar Hero Live does not reinvent the guitar, but it does bring enough fresh elements to make even the classics feel brand new. The FMV-gigs are both cliche and entertaining, and Guitar Hero TV shows that that Guitar Hero is still relevant in 2015.- Gamer.nl

Proteus is without a doubt not for everyone, because playing in the traditional sense of the word doesn't really happen. It does, however, deliver an enchanting experience through the harmony of images and sounds, which leaves enough room for your own imagination.- Gamer.nl

Dicey Dungeons is a charming, fast and cheerful roguelike that has more to offer than you might think at first. No two runs are alike. Dicey Dungeons also respects your time. In just under half an hour you dice your way to the end.- Gamer.nl

For this price, a real puzzle fanatic can't ignore Toki Tori. There are more than enough puzzles, including a large number of real brain breakers, and the game gives the player the time to think and experiment towards a solution. Anyone who did not get a chance to meet the yellow chicken yet, this PC version of Toki Tori is the right time to do so.- Gamer.nl

Beaterator brings an excellent music application to the PSP which makes it possible to create some slamming tunes. It has an accessible and entertaining Live Play mode for newcomers, but if you want to create a track from the ground up, an extensive knowledge of production software or perseverance is required. Although Beaterator can't compete with professional software on PC or MAC, the low price and ability to create a mix everywhere you go makes this something worth buying. Even for seasoned professionals.- Gamer.nl

In the end, The BIGS 2 is just a logical sequel to The BIGS. It complements the game with a variety of modes like Become a Legend and Season. Although both are fun to play, they aren't really fleshed out. Even the addition of minigames and new gameplay-elements can't change that. This doesn't change the fact that, despite some quicktime events, the game plays surprisingly well. Both veteran and novice baseball-players will be surprised about the combination of accessibility and depth.- Gamer.nl

Lies of P is more than just a Bloodborne clone, although we'd be lying if we said it's just for inspiration. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, they say. Quite literally translating is exactly what happened here, but fortunately the developers have also given it their own look. Lies of P tells a fascinating story, scores above average on the aspects that make a soulslike good and even adds some innovative game mechanics. Look beyond your nose, squint a little and you will still get Bloodborne Remastered this year.- Gamer.nl

This game renews itself in an odd way: the interface, which made a lot of progress in the last few years, has gotten a few illogical changes which feel like a few steps back. That being said, there is no better football management game on the market right now.- Gamer.nl

A gorgeous setting, interesting story and very strong multiplayer: The Division is one of the big surprises of 2016. The controls are not what we would like them to be and the boss fights could be more original, but the rest of it is simply excellent, especially when playing with others.- Gamer.nl

Geometry Wars: Galaxies is a fun new version of a very addicting game. The addition of the higher price, however, might be too much for the extra content that is added in the game compared to the Arcade-version. It doesn't mean Geometry Wars isn't worth some money, because even though the concept is simple, it remains one of the most fun games of recent years.- Gamer.nl

Wii Fit won't take away the heavy weight but it does give a lot of information about your body. Nintendo informs you about your health, rather then taking action with a full training program. Luckily the available activities let you move some muscles and are actually fun to do. Next to that the controls are so easy that everyone should know how to use them.- Gamer.nl

This collection is a pretty decent compilation with some of the best titles the Mega Drive has seen. If you're one of those gamers that is still longing for the glory days of the 16 bit era then you shouldn't miss out on this title. If you're not, keep in mind that the games on this disc offer you nothing more than the games like they where back in the days. Meaning outdated graphics and squeeky noises. Something a real fan would die for.- Gamer.nl
