Pokémon Black Version 2 & White Version 2 don't just make giant progressive steps, but also refine the original duo that were released one and a half years ago. There's still a sense of déjà vu, which every new entry in the Pokémon-franchise has. Despite that, Black & White 2 are loads of fun to play.

Although the Pokémon franchise is experimenting more and more with innovation, Pokémon Sword and Shield is not focused on modernization. Instead, the games prove that the Pokémon formula does not need such change. In no time you lose yourself in the beautifully designed game world and above all enjoy the cool new Pokémon. This results in a familiar and sometimes somewhat predictable journey that does exactly what we want from a Pokémon game.

Skate 3 is the best skateboarding game out there. It's certainly no revolution, but due to its strong gameplay and some great additions we will be impressed if Shaun White and Tony Hawk will reach this standard.

Puppeteer is a magical experience as an interactive puppet show. The lovely, though quite sinister style is easy on the eyes and the musical setting feels refreshing. The gameplay doesn't deliver on the same surprises though.

Metro Exodus seems very different from its predecessors because of its open world, but it's at its best when you crawl through small alleys. That claustrophobic feeling is amazing, though it would have been even more realistic had the voice acting and the story been better.

The relationship between two brothers is realistic and cute. The first episode is a bit of a slow start, but the writing certainly is better now.

Sleeping Dogs punches you in the stomach, throws you over the railing to end it by jumping feet first on your face. Painful, intense and exaggerated? Yes, but at the same time a furious and insane rollercoaster ride that you won't soon forget. Look closely though, and you'll notice that it doesn't deliver a completely perfect experience.

MLB 15: The Show is the best baseball game ever made. But we have said that before about its predecessors. Sony San Diego has been doing so well, it is hard to top their own games. We specifically love the upgrade in the graphics and the online modes that have improved greatly.

Company of Heroes 2 has a few downsides, but remains standing effortlessly thanks to the great gameplay. Relic Entertainment has done an excellent job by adding some very welcome elements which have battles be about daring tactics and troop combinations. Just the way we’re used to.

After twelve hours of gameplay you can put Red Steel 2 to rest, because there's no multiplayer here. Still, in those twelve hours you've experience a challenging adventure with impressive sword controls and wonderful graphics. It's not perfect, but it has never been so much fun to become a samurai.

If you haven't played the original games, definitely go for this remaster. The visual update is great and it really makes the environment come to life. The gameplay feels a bit too old-school at some point, but it is awesome to have Crash back.

Wii Fit Plus is not a game for gamers per se, it’s a game for people who want to exercise. That should be enough for one to know if this game is something they should be interested in or not. It combines the playfulness of the first Wii Fit with some great options from EA Sports Active, like a counter of how much calories you lose.

The third part of the Samorost series is the most memorable. The magical surrealistic world holds great detail and the amazing soundtrack makes the musical gameplay even better. The puzzles require a unique and creative way of thinking, which sometimes makes it hard to continue playing.

Thankfully the games are pretty much the same as they were, but the details in this remaster are disappointing. The PC-version specifically has to deal with a lot of issues and technical disappointments, so we advise you to pick a console version.

The Journey Down: Chapter Three is a bit short and unpolished, but it shows so much love for the classic adventure genre: amazing. The Journey Down as a trilogy is a must for LucasArts fans.

Bramble: The Mountain King might not be the best game for players who like challenging puzzles and advanced platform sections, but it is a very interesting adventure game with dark themes and enough diversity in gameplay to keep the game interesting.

Gran Turismo 5: Prologue might be just a prologue, but the game is excellent. Prologue offers enough challenges to keep you busy. The game is almost just as good as a full version racesimulator. The only minor points are that the online mode and the racetracks could have used a bit more finetuning.

Neo The World Ends With You is so similar to its predecessor that fans of the original game will be catered for this time as well. Unfortunately, the attempt to expand the original formula mainly leads to an elongated adventure with too little variation. The cool, characteristic graphic style and rousing soundtrack make up for a lot, but cannot prevent the game from becoming monotonous in the long run.

Natural Selection 2 is a mix between StarCraft and the multiplayer of Alien versus Predator. This real-time strategy shooter works excellently, but does require teamwork and a social leader. Both aren't guaranteed when playing online, which makes the game either very exciting or totally one-sided. This sequel just doesn't feel like a complete, modern game.

Fable III shows how much responsibility one has when becoming a king in a time where industrialisation has a grip on the world. This makes the game relevant without losing the subtle, funny vibe of the series. This makes the game the best Fable-game up until now, even though there are some niggles from previous games still present here.

Danganronpa is an exciting visual thriller filled to the brim with betrayal, murder, uneasy romance and an insane teddy bear. Great localization actually turn the characters into people, until they die in horrible manners or get sentenced. Danganronpa isn’t the most challenging game by Spike Chunsoft, but one you should take to bed to read instead of your usual crime or romance novel.

Skylanders was something new in 2011. Now, millions of sold toys later, Skylanders Giants is good enough to reinvigorate that collecting obsession.

After two okay'ish Yo-Kai Watch games, this one finally hits home. There is so much interesting stuff to do, the story is told from two funny perspectives and it knows how to take a rpg-spot that used to belong to Pokémon.

Playing around with gravity never felt so good. Kat has an amazing playground that is even better than the original.

Fortunately, the technical imperfections and the lack of genuine innovation hardly disturb. After all, Pokémon is ultimately about collecting cool, sweet, tough or kiddy little monsters that know how to steal our hearts - and Pokémon Sword and Shield are fascinating.

Remnant 2 almost feels like an extinct kind of game. It is a 'finished' product - except for the bugs and already announced downloadable content - that you can theoretically (re) play almost 'infinitely', with a maximum of three people and without fuss. Because so many elements are randomly generated, no SEO article or YouTube video can compete with all the surprises and secrets this sequel offers. This is a rare game that you want to app other people about what you have discovered or experienced. They are not often made like this anymore, but Gunfire Games is doing it a second time.

Dead Rising 2 doesn't really present anything new compared to the first game, other than the co-op and the ability to combine objects to create interesting weapons. The graphics are dated and the lack of variation in gameplay will bug a lot of players. There's still much fun to be had, thanks to the funny story, bizarre characters and millions of ways to slaughter the zombies.
