There are plenty of downloadable games with the same high ambitions as Beyond Good & Evil HD, but very few of the offers a full retail experience. Sure, it isn't entirely fresh anymore, but this adventure is recommended for everyone.

Battlefield 3 for the consoles is a big step down from the PC version. Still, it is almost two games in one. We get a six hour outright mediocre campaign without any surprises, but we also get the really unique and totally awesome multiplayer that only the Battlefield series delivers.

A superb online mode and practically infinite game time make us cheer with joy for this engaging monster-collecting adventure.

No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle has more style, fresh ideas and great music than any human ever can handle. It's a better game than the original No More Heroes, but still has some minor gameplay disturbances.

Marvel and Capcom unleashes all their heroes and villains for another round of bone-crushing fighting. It might not be the most balanced game ever, but it makes up for it with pure entertainment.

Doesn't beat Forza Horizon, but that doesn't matter with a great Autolog and lots of challenges to take on.

Guerrilla's follow up to the action fest that was Killzone 2 falls short in every area, save from the graphics. It's still a rock solid action game, but now feels more streamlined, not as heavy and the multiplayer leaves a lot to wish for.

All in all, a very nice mix between arcade game and simulator.

It's been more than two decades since the last game in the Kid Icarus series, but Uprising proves it was worth all the waiting with excellent action, beautiful graphics and so much unlockables that you probably won't need another game for your Nintendo 3DS this year.

Sine Mora feels like an old-school shoot 'em up with a twist and modern beautiful graphics. This is highly recommended for both n00bs and die hard fans of the genre.

The Wii U version of Tekken Tag Tournament 2 offers a lot more content and clever usage of the Wii U Gamepad. In the end, this is the best version of the game.

High production values and charming characters make Final Fantasy XIII a good game. But an all too linear structure and a boring story keep it from being brilliant.

Avalanche makes us proud to be swedes: an exhilirating sense of freedom coupled with that timeless satisfaction of just blowing stuff up makes Just Cause 2 a highly recommended action game.

Old World Blues is an expansion that delivers what you probably expect. New weapons, new items, new perks and more levels for your character. In total about 8 hours worth of play time and a recommendation for Fallout fans, even though a better story would have been appreciated.

This truly is the sports title of the year and there really isn't something else to ask for in this masterpiece.

Wasting aliens done right. In Resistance 3 you've got a great and varied arsenal at your disposal, and you get to play with it in Insomniac's great levels.

Great eerie graphics and sound make for a chilling setting in Remedy's long-awaited psychological thriller. It's a shame the enemies are dull clones, that the gunplay gets old fast and that it never really gets scary.

Rockstars detective adventures is even more entertaining on PC. Not only does it have all the expansions, but also provides far better graphics.

Dust: An Elysian Tail will last for around 7 hours. During that time, you will be stunned by the graphics, cry over the amazing story and feel that your 1200 Microsoft points was really well spend.

Albeit expensive, Skylanders Swap Force is a good game for kids, building well on its predecessor.

It's almost impossible not to have fun with Ms. Splosion Man, but also to get furious when the extreme difficulty punishes you like never before. But still, a must buy for arcade fans.

Counter-Strike still offers the best and most balanced multiplayer first person action. Still, this old legend starts to show off some aging.

You know what you are going to get when you buy a Donkey Kong Country game. Fortunately, that's a good thing and this is no exception.

It's easy to fall in love with Blazblue: Continuum Shift Extend thanks to the super stylistic graphics, very deep gameplay and amazing set of characters. And this is truly a great fighting game, even though the loading times and sound should have gotten more love.

You really can't complain about dull minigames in the latest Wario Ware, since you actually can create new ones yourself. And it's really advanced as well. And if you don't want to do it yourself, you can download other players collections and even some minigames from famous Nintendo creators. All in all, probably the best video game creator so far.

By far the best Kinect game so far. Harmonix delivers both a great party game and something for the hardcore players prepared to break a sweat.

Actually very frightening from time to time, and the atmosphere is just right.

The level of ambition is close to insane as Ubisoft Toronto wants to prove once and for all that the world's greatest assassin isn't called Snake (or Corvo). The action elements tend towards silliness however, and the single-player mode doesn't fly as high as the co-op as well as the brilliant Spies vs Mercs.

Shift 2: Unleashed offers quality racing with nice simulations to some degree, but hasn't been improved since the original as much as it should have been.

One of the best Sonic games ever get a splendid re-release with everything intact and a few good extras. This is a history lesson that every gamer should enjoy.
