The remaster of Onimusha 2 is sure to stir nostalgia in longtime fans. It’s a great opportunity to relive Capcom’s classic action-horror, though it remains very much a product of its time, complete with gameplay elements that now feel dated. Still, it's hard not to appreciate Capcom’s effort in preserving a piece of gaming history.- GameOver.gr

King Arthur: Knight’s Tale is basically XCOM in a fantasy setting with a melee-based combat system. Fans of this TBS subgenre will definitely have a good time. It doesn’t elevate the XCOM formula, but in the end, it doesn’t need to.- GameOver.gr

Blades of Fire marks a welcome return for MercurySteam to large-scale games. Its melee-focused combat is deeply satisfying and carries a distinct identity, no small feat in the crowded soulslike genre. If only its objectives and level design weren't quite so convoluted.- GameOver.gr

CreativeForge tries to present a larger and more complete turn-based experience, compared with Hard West, but some hiccups show up along the road. The welcome addition of stealth is marred by… immersion issues, as well as feeling over-powered after half-point of the campaign, whereas the lack of any feeling of urgency on the overworld map makes this part of the game feeling somewhat like an afterthought. Nonetheless, it has enough competent elements in its action as well as the presentation of its spy theme which will probably hook fans of the genre for hours.- GameOver.gr

Battle Chasers: Nightwar is able to offer many pleasant afternoon gaming sessions. The depth of the lore, the strong characters and the decent presentation will keep dragging you back for a long time. Until repetition takes over, that is, along with the taxation brought by the unstable curve of difficulty. It may be, that you can finish it with pleasure or quit. Perhaps boredom will keep you away, perhaps the unique nature of its characters will leave you stranded on its mana-filled island. Whichever the case may be, you are assured to have a sweet fantasy gaming autumn, as long as you maintain a two-hour session every day.- GameOver.gr

After the almost disastrous game of 2016, Kylotonn listened to the complaints of the community and corrected many of the problems. The result is a truly exhilarating racing game, with a touch of simulation, that manages to transfer to the player the sense of speed and danger when driving in the difficult conditions of WRC. There’s still room for improvements, but the right path has been set.- GameOver.gr

Strange Brigade is quite charming in its complete devotion to depict an overtly British adventure in supernatural Egypt of the 30s. For the 4-5 hours it lasted we had a satisfying co-op experience, filling like proper tomb raiders against hordes of skeletons, mummies and some welcoming boss fights. Unfortunately the lack of any significant feeling of progression and randomisation means that the replayability is almost non-existent.- GameOver.gr

Tormented Souls definitely has some issues, mainly the highly derivative combat system and map. Nevertheless, when it comes to level design, highly challenging riddles, and overall dark atmosphere it’s one of the best, if not the best, indie survival horror games aiming at a nostalgic trip to the survival horror games of old.- GameOver.gr

While the dystopic futuristic art design of Berlin is engaging and the deep and well written story of State of Mind has a lot of things to say to the player, in the end what we get is a “walking simulator” that takes us by the hand, leaving us with little to nothing to actually do.- GameOver.gr

What Mario Strikers: Battle League Football does extremely well, and differentiates from the rest of the Mario sports games, is build on its predecessors’ gameplay and provide a traditional, yet refreshingly deep experience, enough to entertain and challenge the players. However, the lack of available characters, the cosmetic-only use of fields and the unnecessary need to grind for coins takes back much of the enjoyment and deprives the title of the opportunity to have been a stellar sports title for the Nintendo Switch.- GameOver.gr

Assassin's Creed is going back to its roots, substituting the vast environments of the previous entries for a much more concise experience. This may be a welcome retread for fans of the series but, at the same time, Ubisoft doesn't seem eager to take risks with this formula or fix some of its prevalent issues.- GameOver.gr

Football Manager 26 introduces a bold UI overhaul that aims to fully modernise the experience, but the move comes with significant caveats. The new interface often overcomplicates basic actions, and in its current state the game suffers from numerous frustrating bugs and crashes. The improved match engine and the well-developed TransferRoom help offset some of these issues, but overall Sports Interactive still has plenty of work to do to convince us that this redesign was truly necessary.- GameOver.gr

Not your average XCOM, but more of an "XCOM take on the Mass Effect recipe". Still, it's an enjoyable game with a nicely written story.- GameOver.gr

Among the many Warriors games, this is one of the good ones. Rich story with three distinct paths, many elements straight from the Fire Emblem games and the well known Warriors action gameplay make it a good choice for fans of both franchises.- GameOver.gr

It’s hard to talk about Welcome Tour without addressing Nintendo’s pricing strategy. As a companion title designed to showcase the Switch 2’s hardware through well-crafted and enjoyable mini-games, it shines. But it’s puzzling that Nintendo chose to sell it as a standalone release rather than include it as a preinstalled game on the console.- GameOver.gr

This is basically the true sequel of SNES’ Turtles in Time, one of the best beat ‘em ups of that console. As such, this is definitely a nostalgia trip, albeit a completely safe at that. We are more than happy with the large selection of stages, but the time travelling aspect of the old game was definitely more imaginative compared with the city based levels of the new one.- GameOver.gr

NBA Live is a series currently in the shadow of the almighty 2K, but with this year's entry there are signs that things could be changing. Yes it's not as good as it should and much more work needs to be done, but there truly is a place in the market for a more casual basketball game.- GameOver.gr

An excellent representation of the best the series has to offer and is sure to make Sonic Fans drool from nostalgia. Sadly, lack of innovation, stagnant problems in the gameplay and quality-inconsistent stages, hinder it from reaching new heights.- GameOver.gr

It’s a unique mix of a complete overhaul in the graphics and sound department, boasting catchy music and charmingly beautiful visuals, that at the same retains untouched the level design and gameplay of the original. It will not please newcomers but those that grew up in the 8-bit era will surely enjoy the faithfulness of the remake. On another level it’s a great study about the evolvement of the platformer genre and the connection between gameplay and visuals.- GameOver.gr

In an adventure that narrates an interesting story, supported by a brilliant and well-developed cast of characters, players will eventually bring peace upon the universe, but only after overcoming a series of serious bugs and some inconsistencies that push back a rather formidable title. Still, a must-see for aspiring space fighters and genre fans.- GameOver.gr

Code Vein tried to differentiate itself with its anime aesthetic, and at least it partially succeeded in its world building and characters. On the other hand one can’t help but notice that the level design is quite repetitive and disorienting, and the combat system, although with great variety, stumbles in some unfair fights and most importantly in the utter lack of enemy variation.- GameOver.gr

The Legend of Tianding gives the impression that it’s inspired by a Taiwanese comic, even none exists. This is a testament to the developer’s ability in crafting an especially believable comic aesthetic. In addition, its arcadey beat ‘m up-centric gameplay provides an entertaining short action-game even though it doesn’t try in the least to provide any unique gameplay element or depth to its formula.- GameOver.gr

You won't find better gunplay and online features out there, but at the same time you wont find much to do in this huge project that seems to need tons of new and better content, improved writing and some of the "magic" Bungie failed to include in the initial package.- GameOver.gr

By improving upon the mechanics of the original and with 2K backing it up this time, NBA2K Playgrounds 2 is an overall improvement over the first game, but that doesn't mean there is no space for further improvements especially when it comes to online play and the number of available athletes.- GameOver.gr
