As an ending to a wonderfully developed trilogy, Goodbye Deponia has some great moments, but also some points that will disappoint.

Three great platformers for the price of one. If you own a PS Vita, you really shouldn't miss this one.

While this expansion pack is for multiplayer use only and could have benefited from some more content, the new maps and units are great and continue the legacy of Company of Heroes 2.

NBA 2K21 sure has that "next-gen feel", but that's as far as it gets. There are updated, certainly not revolutionary, visuals, and some serious new content that puts last-gen versions -and it's pricing - to shame, but the first next-gen NBA 2K feels like a fastbreak that results in a casual layup, not a dunk.

The Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy gives PS4 owners the unique chance to experience the first days of rookie attorney Phoenix Wright, on his path to Justice, via his own Trials and Tribulations. A trilogy of three amazing titles, with 14 well-developed cases and with an amazing cast of characters, is an early Easter gift to fans of good interactive novels. Players who have never experienced an Ace Attorney game within the previous 20 years, are sure to experience great storytelling within an even greater context; still, it might prove to be a chore for players who have experienced themselves with the games, one way or another.

Pokémon Sword & Shield brings the traditional Pokémon recipe from handhelds straight to our TVs. The new games offer plenty QoL improvements that shake up the experience and provide a fresh touch in experiencing Pokémon gameplay in the best region the series has offered so far. However, there are also lots of things The Pokémon Company needs to consider in order to improve the experience and keep offering quality titles in the future.

It's charming, unique in many ways and ideal for co-op play, but Puppeteer fails to take a step further and become a truly memorable platformer.

Avowed is not the juggernaut RPG some may have expected, as certain crucial aspects fail to rise above mediocrity, such as the writing in many side quests and the rather derivative character design. Be that as it may, Obsidian's talent in the genre still shines through in its rich world-building, clever level design, and fun combat system, though against large groups of foes, it can feel a bit too chaotic for our tastes.

Persona 3 Portable's remaster is a huge opportunity for those who wanted to deal with this game, however its age -and everything that comes with it- will be a problem for those who can't stand the game design of a bygone era.

Neon Inferno could have been a pleasant discovery in a 90s arcade booth. Its standout feature, allowing players to shoot both on the 2D plane and into the background, gives the game a much-needed sense of personality, elevating a bit an otherwise fairly ordinary (though certainly decent) run-’n’-gun experience.

The Last Train Home delivers a unique RTS experience, even if not without some issues with its A.I. and UI. Thankfully, the well-made combination of strategy with survival aspects and the well-written story more than overcome these issues.

Dishonored remains one of the best stealth games of the last generation. The main story along with the inclusion of all of the add-ons can offer up to 30 hours of utterly satisfying gameplay. Combined with the improved visuals, the city of Dunwall deserves everyone’s attention.

After the two mediocre True Crime games, we had abandoned all hope for a good project by United Front Games. Sleeping Dogs proved us wrong. It's a great, open world game, with beautiful graphics, engaging gameplay and one of the most interesting stories this genre has to offer.

Remnant 2 follows its predecessor to the letter albeit by improving every single aspect. It doesn't really need to innovate the genre, thanks to its utterly satisfying gunplay, myriads of secrets, excellent replayability and a diverse set of levels, enemies and bosses.

With its superb graphics, interesting -albeit difficult to follow for the uninitiated- story and intense multiplayer, Ace Combat 7 is a return to shape for Namco's long running franchise. There are some cons here, like the too few VR missions and the quite poor AI, but overall this is a great arcade flight sim.

It may not be the reinvention of the wheel its predecessor offered and it may have some ambiguous gameplay design choices, but Company of Heroes 2 is every bit as great as the previous installment and some of its amazing improvements offer a spectacular strategy game.

Odallus manages to capture the 8-bit feeling of early Castlevania games, without resorting in simple copy-paste techniques. On the other hand it could be benefited from more stages and a more firm decision over how difficult or easy it wants to be.

Mega Man Zero/ ZX Legacy collection is a must for all fans of the franchise. Boasting a complete reproduction of all six games, along with tons of content and the addition of save-assist and casual modes, it may even attract newcomers. That is if they can ever become able to sidestep the musky feel of the nigh twenty-year-old gameplay.

After Shredder’s Revenge, Dotemu returns with another loving ode to classic beat ’em ups. Marvel: Cosmic Invasion features an excellent roster of both beloved and obscure Marvel characters, backed by a satisfying and richly designed combat system. It doesn’t exactly tread new ground for the genre, but that doesn’t detract from the fact that this is yet another strong entry in the ongoing renaissance of classic beat ’em ups.
