The Artful Escape definitely belongs to one of these games that appear almost out of nowhere, just to make us happy and blessed to try out. While not a title for platformer aficionados and those who crave for something challenging, The Artful Escape ends up being a pleasant surprise, and one that will stay within for long.

World of Tanks is a fun, unique, free to play MMO that contains a huge number of different, real-life, models. However -at the moment- there is only one available mode and the fact that players who pay a fee, have an advantage over the ones that prefer the "free model", has a negative impact on the overall balance.

The combination of the RTS and action RPG elements into a new, hybrid game work beautifully here, making this the most successful (so far) iteration of the experiment Relic began with DoW II. It wonʼt appeal to hardcore strategy enthusiasts, but then itʼs not trying to.

Konami still hasn't "struck gold" in this generation. Although the developers tried to improve some aspects of this year's edition, it's only after the inevitable patch that some of the major problems are dealt with.

Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves marks a triumphant return for the legendary fighting series. Its deep combat system may be intimidating for newcomers, but mastering its intricacies is immensely rewarding, especially in the well-developed online arenas.

Amerzone: The Explorer's Legacy is an excellent remake of a classic from the golden age of adventure games. Its beautiful visuals and freeform gameplay elevate the experience, updating it to modern standards. Older gamers will get their nostalgia fix, while newcomers have a great opportunity to discover one of the genre’s finest titles.

Once more, Tarsier proves it knows how to craft a horror setting that feels torn from the darkest corners of a child’s imagination. Compared to the Little Nightmares games, Reanimal features a far more dynamic camera that heightens tension and amplifies its intense chases and moments of awe. However, these striking set pieces are the exception in an experience that remains largely reminiscent of the studio’s previous work. As a result, Reanimal stands as a satisfying new entry, but one that ultimately plays things a little too safe.

The graphics are on par with the home consoles, the same goes for the content, and PS3 users can have some interesting interaction if they have both versions of the game. All in all, a great addition to Vita's library.

Even though some problems of the original version have been addressed, some new have emerged -like the camera issues. Nevertheless this edition is superior in almost every aspect and opens up its deep and finely crafted world to a much bigger audience.

Despite a few technical shortcoming, due to its indie nature, Dungeons of Hinterberg is a great adventure game, with clever puzzles and a unique theme. It replaces ski-resort tourism with exploring-dungeons-full-of-goblins tourism. It simple works, offering a relaxing experience with highly enjoyable gameplay and beautiful cel-shaded environments.

Sakaguchi's latest is not a tribute to JRPGs of old, as many might have expected, but a bold new step for the genre. Although it's quite short and suffers from many cliches, Last Story is, without a doubt, one of the best games Japan has to offer in this generation.

Dreamscaper doesn’t offer a compelling connection between the dream battles and the difficulty that the introvert Cassidy has in fitting in the big city. Nevertheless, where it truly matters, i.e. the combat and randomization of items/ levels, the quality is high enough to convince us to return again and again to its challenging but fair dungeons.

INDIKA is a truly unique narrative game that delivers an excellently written, thought-provoking story about faith, a subject we very rarely see in the medium. Moreover, the almost surreal environmental design and action greatly enhance the whole experience.

Mario Party Superstars comes to fill in the shoes of its mediocre predecessor by relying on successful mini-games throughout the series and gameplay mechanics that are tailored to suit players out and about. A beautiful recreation of classic game boards and a vast collection of classic mini-games, up to Mario Party 10, succeed in reminding us why the series has been a regular in Nintendo’s home consoles.

Grime 2 confidently treads familiar metroidvania ground, embracing tried-and-true mechanics. While it doesn’t introduce anything particularly groundbreaking, fans of the genre will appreciate its deep combat system and challenging platforming sections, all supported by responsive and smooth controls. The entire experience is elevated by the imagination behind its vibrant world.

Ghostrunner 2 retains the fast paced action through the lenses of a cyberninja, keeping the adrenaline high, even if it has a certain "expansion" feeling. It will certainly offer an enjoyable new experience for fans of the first game, however, it could benefit from more risks in its core gameplay elements.

The developers of Lies of P can be proud of having created one of the best, if not the best, soulsborne game made by a non-FromSoftware studio. Be that as it may, we really hope that in their next game they will try creating a more unique aesthetic untethered from copying the visuals of Bloodborne to such an extent.

Turbo Kid is a fun metroidvania game and a welcome continuation of the cult film. It ticks all the right boxes of metroidvania design and incorporates the bike in a clever way. Alas, the behaviour of the enemies are extremely derivative and its pixel art is not the best we've seen.

Football Manager 15 once again offers a realistic approach in modern football but the messy AI and the clumsy match engine fail to deliver a flawless match- day experience. UI and scouting improvements are a step on the right direction, but the countless interviews and press conferences may tire the player.

The most essential feature in this kind of games is the creation of a solid cornerstone on which the game will grow and prosper in the coming months (or years maybe). Somehow The Division manages to create this cornerstone though it leaves a lot to be desired. On the other hand, the developers need to decide what to do with Dark Zone because clearly they have not until now. In the positive’s area the fact that even gamers with no MMO experience at all can enjoy most of the game (essentially with some company).

Staying true to its genre Elite Dangerous provides a great sense of freedom in a universe where the player’s choices dictate his progression in the game. It may take some time to get accustomed to the controls and the general functions of the game but once you get the hang of it you’ll experience something unique. It is unfortunate that the experience is held back by an extremely poor tutorial and constant disconnects.

Revenge of the Savage Planet is nothing if not humorous, delivering abundant fun through its charming, colorful visuals and clever gadgets. While it leans a bit too much on open-world-map-cleaning mentality, it’s hard not to feel like a kid in a sci-fi kindergarten while playing.
