Leisure Suit Larry - Wet Dreams Dry Twice belongs to a rather rare genre of games. Of course, sexual themes and humor may seem too vulgar and flat to many, but you are unlikely to find something as high-quality and well-developed in this gaming segment on the modern market.

Third-person camera mode and new The Mercenaries content is something you would have expected to get from a big free update. Sadly both of those features are locked behind Winters' Expansion pack which also goes with Shadow of Rose - a new story-campaign that is shorter, modest and generally worse than everything else Resident Evil Village has to offer.

The main advantage of the console version of I have no mouth, and I must scream is the ability to pass the classic game on the gamepad quite comfortably.

Life is Strange: Double Exposure is a classic adventure with elements of detective about a brave and strong heroine with a special gift. The progressive bias spoils the overall picture a bit, but the new game is still the best thing that happened to the franchise in the last few years.

I’m not trying to judge an old game by modern standards, but it’s still worth remembering that the original is 22 years old, and it probably would’ve benefited more from a full remake than a remaster. So before jumping into a classic like this, it’s important to keep its age and quirks in mind. That said, on a purely personal level, I still enjoy the gameplay of Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver much more than what Legacy of Kain: Defiance offers.

GreedFall for PlayStation 5 remains one of the best role-playing games of recent times, but with a much better overall presentation. As for the new expansion - it's something aimed to die-hard fans of the original campaign.

When you don't have any other games left to play you can play Cloudpunk. With great style, the developers were not able to tell an interesting story. On the other hand, we have a great option for those who want to play something against the background of show or podcast. Which is basically not bad.

Earth Defense Force 6 is a big and loud culmination of everything that the series had to offer up until now. If the game feels a bit pricey, then just wait for the sale. And if you have an itch to kill some bugs right about now, then just buy one of the previous games, they are pretty good as well.

In the end Martha is Dead feels like an arthouse movie, when you have to decipher the game yourself, while having all kind of emotions. Whether you'll like it or not is very hard to tell.

Oxenfree II: Lost Signals is an underwhelming attempt to build on the strong foundation of the original with a new story in which teenagers have been replaced by whining millennials.

Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse is remastered version of a cult classic that brings you everything you would expect, including some old and questionable design choices like the save system and slow doors opening animation. But at the same time Mask of the Lunar Eclipse can feel like a true gift for every hardcore horror fan out there.

All the tweaks and cosmetic improvements are clearly not enough to consider Layers of Fear 2023 a completely new game. If you were not familiar with the original releases, then be sure to try the compilation. But apart from the main plot, the writer's storyline is clearly not worth the money.

Atomfall turned out to be a conservative attempt by Rebellion to release an unusual game for the studio. The result was very interesting, although the game is not without a number of serious drawbacks.

Screamer is an arcade racer with questionable handling and absurd difficulty spikes, while the AI uses some fairly unfair tricks. Still, the game turned out to be interesting thanks to its complex boost system, which turns monotonous races into a tactical battle of wits.

Ninja Gaiden: Master Collection consists of two great and one really average games. Visually it's hard not to notice how old they are, even in 4K. It would be great if the developers took their time to update some of the textures and models, but even still, the gameplay remains the king. If great high speed action is something you can enjoy, and you can live with outdated graphics, then consider picking this collection up.

Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 is a rather simplistic game, aimed to the more casual audience. It can be a little frustrating, especially when there's too much enemies on screen, and when the pacing starts to drag on. But the shooting itself feels fine, and it's not like there is a lot of sniper-focused games on the market right now.

Sakura Wars has its drawbacks, and it is not only a weak combat system with forced battles in the championship, but also some templating, the length of some elements and spoilers-announcements between episodes. But all this is offset by deeply developed characters, beautiful animation and good humor. It is one of the best games of the genre in the last few years and the best that could happen to the series.

Kosmokarts is yet another indie title, that goes against loud voices who are often stays dissapointed with modern games and all too familiar gameplay mechenics. Here you can expect a really unique mix of LEGO, Tetris and some painfully sweet challenges. Right until the credits roll Kosmokrats manages to stay fresh with many new gameplay tricks, while the borderline absurd plot continue to make fun of charismatic space comrades.
