Dream of Another tells you a story, rather than showing it to you. It can be beautiful, sad, funny, and provoking, but ultimately it was underwhelming. Or maybe I just don’t get it.

Monster Mop Up allows you to catch Ragamuffins and clean the crap out of everything, but that’s about it. If you want to turn your brain off for a while and clean, then it’s a good way to go, but otherwise, there’s not a lot of variation.

Digimon Story Time Stranger combines nostalgia for fans of the anime series with fun combat and an emotional rollercoaster of a storyline. It’s the perfect entry point for new fans, and one that shouldn’t be overlooked.

Border Town is a fine, if simple, experience that you shouldn't expect the world of. Its iffy translation and bad UI can be dealbreakers, but those who stick with it may find a nice and easy time.

DeadWire is brutal in both its violence and difficulty, but for those who can endure, they’ll find a fast-paced shooter that relies on creativity, planning ahead, and a quick trigger finger.

Hades II builds on everything that the original had and manages to double the content while still keeping its Supergiant Games feel. It has unrivaled roguelite elements that prioritise player skill over randomisation, and content aplenty that you won't be left wanting for more.

Platypus Reclayed is one of the best arcade shoot ’em ups I have played. It’s challenging, but so rewarding. Who knew flying a clay ship could be so much fun?

While Crusader Kings III: Coronations isn’t bad if you manage to get it to work at all, its lacklustreness and its apparent bugginess likely won’t make the experience worth the effort.

Lost Skies is a game with a great concept and a fun mode of travel, but it falls in execution at times. However, there the bones of something really interesting here that could be one to watch.

Hollow Knight: Silksong manages to be a surprisingly great sequel to a title that was all-too difficult to follow up. If you're a fan of the series, you'll find no better way to feel back home than in this sequel, but newcomers should still stick to exploring Hallownest for their first venture.

9 Lives to Defend is a fun cat-themed survival title, but it is very challenging. There is a large amount of content to unlock, but it will take a lot of work.
