Bongo Cat is like adopting a hyperactive feline that's more enthusiastic about work than you are. Keeping track of your bongos can be fun, especially when inviting friends, but FOMO events definitely ruins the experience a bit.

Deadzone: Rogue was worth the wait. It has an addictive gameplay loop that will keep you coming back even after you die again and again, and there’s always something new to upgrade or check out with every attempt.

First Racer is an entertaining arcade racing title with a bunch of customisation options and multiple modes like local multiplayer and drifting challenges.

I enjoyed Passant despite my struggles with it. It’s a refreshing challenge for any fan of Balatro and can be just as addicting, but it can be rather daunting to get into if you aren’t actively playing chess on a regular basis.

Space Adventure Cobra — The Awakening is a fun action platforming game that does a great job of recreating the original series that everyone can enjoy.

Story of Season: Grand Bazaar is such a sweet and whimsical game that has you farming, cooking, and running a booth at the bazaar. You will be addicted!

Shinobi: Art of Vengeance is a beautiful-looking game that feels like a great addition to the series. It is challenging and full of non-stop ninja action.

A practically flawless remake of an already incredible title, METAL GEAR SOLID Δ should be on your radar.

Luck & Loot is an excellent dice-based adventure through dangerous dungeons, where pressing your luck is handsomely rewarded but painfully punished. Like any gambling addiction, you’ll always be coming back to roll some more.

I enjoyed The RPG, but I won’t be coming back to it. It has some good moments and jokes and I enjoyed the gameplay well enough, but its glitches and game design issues make it a slog to play.

The Dark Queen of Mortholme is a game unlike any other I’ve played. It has a great story and a loop system that kept me coming back until I got to the end.

Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War - Definitive Edition is the ideal remaster, but nothing has really changed mechanically, so many of the old issues with balancing still exist.

A wonderfully surreal RPG, with some interesting thematic depth to match.

The Necromancer’s Tale is a promising, well-written RPG with a fleshed-out trust system and rich characters, but simplistic, clunky combat hinders the game a bit.

Ra Ra BOOM is a high-energy, upbeat beat ‘em up game with a vibrant look and ninja cheerleaders that you control through nine different stages.

NEOWIZ puts their skills on full display with Lies of P: Overture, tackling obnoxious tropes and bringing new light to them masterfully. At £24.99, it feels like an entire sequel waiting to be explored by fans of the original, and it stands as a no-brainer DLC for them.

The Royal Writ is a good roguelike that emphasises planning ahead, taking calculated risks, and rolling with the punches. However, at times, it can unfairly kill your run before you can even react to it.

Mechanically, Return from Core is a fine game. It's like comfort food: it's not great for you by any means, but it's still enjoyable enough to see it through to the end. I just wish it had a better story, cleaned up the dialogue, and a more intuitive UI.

VILE: Exhumed is a cool concept with slick presentation, it’s just a little too shallow and short to reach its full potential.

It’s great to see Never 7: The End of Infinity get a worldwide release, but playing it is a different story. It’s saved with good characters and a fantastic soundtrack, but the writing tries its best to drag them down.

A great adaptation, some might say a direct adaptation, but there’s not much gameplay here, especially once you unlock Auto Mode.

Reality Break is an excellent action RPG that approaches its roguelite elements in a unique way that keeps making me come back for more, and I’m sure that its newest content update delivers more on what players love already. Check it out if you haven’t already!

ISLANDERS: New Shores is a chill building experience, full of strategy, that requires a lot of planning to maximise your score, but it remains a calm and relaxing experience.
