If The Drifter were a book, there’s no way I’d stop turning pages. If you like delightfully tropey characters, chunky pixel art, puzzles that aren’t too obtuse, and excellent voice acting, then I fully recommend giving it a go. It’s enjoyable, engaging, and accessible for those who love and those who are new to the point-and-click genre.

RoboCop: Rogue City - Unfinished Business is a lot of fun. I honestly did want more RoboCop, and that’s exactly what I got. Sure, you don’t get to ticket cars this time, but you do get to resolve disputes between neighbours and tell punks to make your day! I just wish that it didn’t have so many major issues.

Mario Kart World is an amazing-looking and sounding title on the Switch 2. I love all the new tracks and characters, though the way you unlock them feels unfair.

Cosmic Wave is a fun time, with a nice story and progression system that keeps you coming back for more. It will kick your butt with various obstacles and tough bosses, but it is well worth it.

Stronghold Crusader: Definitive Edition adds some new features and lords, but it can be hard for new players to get into.

Holdfast: Nations At War is a solid, fun experience for those looking for a different kind of multiplayer game.

Crime Simulator is a thrilling crime spree that challenges you to trick and thieve your way to clearing your debt. However, progression goes at a glacial pace and relies on luck in order to get anywhere.

Everdeep Aurora is a chill game full of exploration and puzzles. It has a fun cast of animals to interact with, but the map is very vague and hard to follow.

Shuffle Tactics is a good tactical roguelike that offers plenty of reasons to think ahead to combat The Glimmer. It needs refinement in places, but updates have done a lot to improve the game since its initial release.

No Way Home is a space shooter with precise controls and challenging combat. Being able to constantly upgrade your pod with new weapons is so much fun!
