Take control of Dracula and delve into the nine circles of Hell as you reclaim the throne for its rightful owner in CASTILLO: The Nine Circles, an enjoyable and unique combination of genres.

Viewfinder invents an entirely new kind of puzzle, then proceeds to flip it around and explore it from every possible angle. Despite a disappointing narrative, the creativity and character packed into that simulated world is inspirational and bloody good fun.

Although the updated visuals are a welcome addition, the modern controls are poorly implemented. However, Tomb Raider I-III Remastered is an absolute must-buy for fans of Lara’s original adventures.

In short, Ride 2 is an experience that hardcore bike fans are going to get the most out of. The game is fun enough on its own merit without the impressive library of licenses and tracks, but for those not really into the sport I would imagine the barriers to entry are too high. Ride 2 manages to improve on last year’s release, but still struggles to shift itself above a niche racer for fans of the sport.

A 2D action adventure inspired by Dark Souls. While the structure underlying Salt and Sanctuary isn’t quite original, it serves to prove that this is a winning formula for combining mechanical and aesthetic design - feeding into one another and making each stronger.

Stars In The Trash is an experience that all pet lovers should try. Besides the hand-drawn animations, this title is incredibly heartfelt but ends way too fast.

Regalia: of Men and Monarchs will give the player the fantasy tactics and base-building experience that its backers demanded, paired with writing that but for a few typos is satisfactory at the very least.

All in all, Akiba’s Beat is a solid game that presents itself very well. Despite a couple of flaws here and there, the title offers a lot in the way of content and entertainment value. Whether it’s the interesting visuals, the great use of music, or the well-constructed story, it’s not hard to see how this game beats out the competition.

Gunfire Reborn is a well-formed and illustrated multiplayer game with the ability to play it solo. However, you have to really like repetitive gameplay or roguelites; otherwise, you’ll do your head in after the eleventh attempt on the first stage.

Castle of Shikigami is a decent port of a fun but difficult bullet hell SHMUP. With some nightmarish enemy designs and plenty of replay value it’s a solid package let down by a dated appearance and its lack of extras.

Despite some odd game design decisions and weird glitches, you should definitely give The Last Gas Station a try. Fun, interesting characters, an intriguing mystery, and slightly chaotic gameplay, I’d definitely recommend this.

Anglerfish is a great mix of dark humour, unsettling atmosphere, and death-based gameplay. It’s worth the two to three hours it takes to finish your first playthrough, but the predictable ending and questionable in-game marketing, make this title fall short of being a seamless experience.

Despite having a battle system that, while interesting, can feel at odds with the rest of the game’s tone, Little Town Hero is a delightful, small-scale adventure that will calm and charm you with its serene setting, fun characters and joyful presentation.

The massive improvement from one installment to the next is highly noticeable. It still lacks variety in its maps. The jump Remorphed makes from the original version makes it not only playable, but a game you can sink your teeth into, as it is a well-rounded shooter gameplay experience.
