You can’t overlook the fact that Rogue Islands is currently lacking in content, but it’s to be expected whilst still in its early access stages. If the development teams behind this whimsical creation can continue on the path they’ve set out on, I’m convinced this game will achieve great things. With the recent addition of Keystone Games’ development team, the future of Rogue Islands looks set to be a bright one. Heck, I’d even go as far as saying we may be in for a rare treat; an enjoyable, Roguelite FPS.- GameGrin

I love Infinite Guitars for its amazing music and active gameplay. However, it needs a little more polish before it can really shine like a rockstar.- GameGrin

Kotama and Academy Citadel is a good metroidvania with stylish combat and an exciting world to explore. However, you may encounter some issues that can make your Caramel Star campaign more of a pain than it should.- GameGrin

Turrican Anthology Vol. II is another good set of retro run-and-gun action games. This collection features titles that are more linear than those in the first collection, but two of the games are very similar to each other.- GameGrin

Techno Banter is a short, but neat game to play if you want a glimpse of a controlled simulation of security work for nightclubs, or simply want to call a music snob a dumb arse… or emasculate an incel.- GameGrin

Although not for the light hearted with the RNG artillery fire and the cat and mouse like combat trade off, which can lead to the game falling slightly short of forgiving. Nonetheless, this is a game worth recommending as a short experience with the story being like mini episodes of conflict and silliness. But remember, war never changes no matter how cute things get.- GameGrin

MXGP3 is a fun game and a good game for any fan of the sport, the career mode is fun however it gets boring a little too quickly, but I'm sure that any fan of the sport, will appreciate the effort that went into making this game.- GameGrin

It’s slow moving, but that’s mainly because you’re trying to conserve fuel. If you’re awful at resource management, then you’ll find The Long Journey Home takes longer than it should. There’s quite a bit to do and see, and kill, but if you want a time sink then this will be right up your alley.- GameGrin

The Ghost of Glamping serves up a hard-boiled ghost story and plenty of cases that are a joy to quack open. If you like mysteries, no de-duck-tions are needed: you should try it out.- GameGrin

In summary, SteamWorld Dig 2 is a stellar addition to the Switch, and it’s a great throwback to the classic 2D platformers and side-scrollers of yesteryear. There’s more to the game than just the main story mode, and going off the beaten track to discover side quests, relics and other secrets is very rewarding. From the unique plot to the charming visuals, SteamWorld Dig 2 excels from the off. I especially loved the Western style music, which suits the theme of the game really well. Indie titles have been flooding onto the Switch since its release, and the highly-impressive nature of them has me excited to see what comes out next.- GameGrin

If you're looking for a first-person shooter that is slightly different from the standard run of the mill FPS, Tannenberg is the way to go. Gameplay, the feel of the guns and map choice is all solid and makes for a great experience, but Tannenberg is held back by its lack of players and a mediocre class system.- GameGrin

Although the game could use a bit of polish around its UI framework, a ton of thought was put into countless popular culture references and cubed graphics. If you’re looking for a gorefest though, this isn’t the place to find one.- GameGrin

Dungeons & Dragons Neverwinter Nights 2: Enhanced Edition brings a classic back for modern audiences. While it retains some of the idiosyncrasies of its time and can be a bit complex, it’s still well worth a try, especially with the potential of Steam Workshop!- GameGrin

Overall the DLC is fantastic however limited sight for the long term has resulted in an even furthering of the unbalancing. I would strongly suggest acquiring the DLC if you are playing on a private server with friends, I strongly do not recommend playing on public servers due to the issues that run rampant in the community.- GameGrin

Although Cave Digger 2: Dig Harder's gameplay loop of mining to get gold to continue mining was an enjoyable and relaxing task for me, I can see how it might become tedious and monotonous for those that are less tolerant of repetitive tasks.- GameGrin

Marvel’s Women of Power brings two fun new beginner-friendly tables to Zen Pinball 2 and Pinball FX2. Focusing on the female-side of the Marvel Universe makes a nice change although the lack of meaningful interactions with the A-Force and Champions characters seems like wasted potential.- GameGrin

Dragon Age: The Veilguard isn’t BioWare’s best work, but it’s good. Offering a beautiful world and a ton to do, heading back into Thedas is an easy choice for some. For others, the downgrade in writing and limited combat might be a dealbreaker.- GameGrin

Sonic Origins looks and sounds great, but doesn’t add extra perks like the ability to rewind or save states that would help lower the difficulty. The ability to play as Sonic, Tails, or Knuckles in each of the games is a nice touch.- GameGrin
