Sugar Shack is another addition to the cosy genre. If you’re into simple, no-extra-frills restaurant simulators or are really passionate maple syrup, it might be your cup of tea.

Although the game has potential, it falls short overall due to a lack of proper care and clunky gameplay.

While DOOM: VFR can be a fun game to play, the lack of ultra-violence and short playtime overshadow the fun that DOOM: VFR provides, especially at it's current price.

The best thing about No Son Of Mine is that it’s functional and it tries to implement some good ideas. But it’s ultimately more frustrating than it is frightening.

Silent World may not be as broken as its English, but I think I’d rather take an advanced grammar lesson than limp my way through this uninspired, tensionless game again.

It’s a brick breaker with literally 15 pictures of women and an easy Platinum Trophy.

Dead or Alive Xtreme Venus Vacation is the mobile game you keep meaning to get back into playing - but have decided to just do the daily stuff until you get the time. Except it isn’t on mobile, and it isn’t a game.

Card Survivors isn’t bad, but it should’ve been so much more. It’s better as a mobile game than something you’d play on PC.

Computer Repair Shop is a work simulator with boring gameplay and some optimisation issues that aren’t at all justified based on how the game looks.

An interesting visual and audio design, ultimately let down by the shallow gameplay and poor controls.

Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 is a serviceable open-world first person shooter with some great sniping mechanics, yet it's low production values and lack of polish completely ruin what could be a very enjoyable experience.

This game has some enjoyable parts, like the art, story potential, and cyberpunk aesthetics, but it is ultimately underwhelming.

With a strong artstyle and a clever idea, ultimately the lack of in-depth systems and the huge limitations on the gameplay killed the interest I had in this title.

The final act aside, OXENFREE II: Lost Signals is an underwhelming experience, especially when compared to its predecessor.

Despite solid fundamental mechanics and satisfying controls, Blue-Collar Astronaut isn’t worth your time or money. While a few of the mission designs are inspired, most are either bland or frustrating, and the game’s attempts at comedy are smirk-worthy at best.

Kitchen Wars’ basic gameplay is subpar and gets boring quickly, as well as being nigh unplayable with an odd number of players.

Seeing Impact Winter through to the end will be a struggle in itself. It is a shame that Impact Winter is filled with both bugs and design problems as at it’s core there are the makings of a brilliant title. For now though it is one to avoid unless you are willing to deal with the problems.

This unique and charming take on the rougelike subgenre has a huge amount of potential, but is unfortunately marred by dull gameplay mechanics that are uninteresting and don’t work in their current form for what it’s trying to be.

Somewhere in there, is a decent game. I am a massive fan of this style of game despite what I had to say about Hatred. I just hope you can find the diamond that’s hiding in this particular goat anus.

As much as I love arcade-style games, Magnet Crusher didn't do it for me. The gameplay is too clunky, and I didn't have the incentive to go on to the next level as the game went on.

Frank and Drake is a beautiful-looking game that could have been great, but it’s ultimately let down by obtuse puzzles and, most importantly, its incoherent story.

There’s some fun to be had with Parkitect: Deluxe Edition, but the glaring issues and dodgy controls make this one tough to recommend. Stick to the brilliant PC version instead.

JustAxe is a beautiful 2D platformer, but the unremarkable storytelling, frustrating controls, and lacklustre combat make for an underwhelming experience.

It resembles more of a remaster of a last-generation videogame than a current-gen title. The story can be cool towards the end for Terminator fans as you see how the first two movies began, but it's not worth the boring gameplay, mediocre visuals, and uninteresting characters.

Don’t bother unless you enjoy playing the same mission over and over again with no guarantee of any sort of pay off. The (very) few good things this game has going for it are completely dwarfed by the poorly implemented or flat out reprehensible systems that the entire experience hinges on.

A great concept that has been executed dreadfully. Not funny enough to be a good parody, not detailed enough for a good simulation. It’s neither funny enough to be amusing or serious enough to be engaging and ultimately never rises above mediocrity.

Simple combat, poor mechanics, boring voice acting and some unpolished graphics mean that the fans of the book series might find themselves struggling to finish it. For those without an invested interest in the character or the story: this is one to avoid.

It’s one of those games that’s alright for a couple of hours if you can get it at a deep discount. Otherwise, it’s just too frustrating to recommend.
