I would certainly recommend this game to fans of the early Resident Evil games but if you aren’t a fan of those games I could see it getting old fast, as most of the “nostalgia” of the game consists of dated mechanics in combat and puzzle solving.

As usual, I find myself wanting to like games which just straight up annoy the shit out of me. There are some nice ideas here but I just got too frustrated after a while trying to get past sections which were just so much trickier than others, and required a lot of swapping of powers, and pulling off what amounted to combos of moves I just couldn’t swing with.

Overall my time in Disintegration was a fun one, however it just left something to be desired in terms of shooting, or the RTS mechanics, I really hope that if there is a sequel to this game that they drastically improve the shooting mechanics. Supposedly Wonderful Future has left me considering the events of the game, and whether my moral choices make me a monster or a model citizen. It doesn’t really do much wrong, but if you didn’t like point-and-click games with a heavy amount of text before, you won’t enjoy them after, either.
