Can get repetitive seeing the same enemies constantly respawning and lack of animated story, it is a solid title overall.

WHALIEN - Unexpected Guests is a fun, 3D puzzle platformer, full of crazy characters and vibrant visuals that will make you smile. The game is quite short, but the puzzles are enjoyable and never frustrating. Plus who doesn’t enjoy a plethora of whale puns?

Dead Cells: Return to Castlevania is a must-buy for any fans of Dead Cells or Castlevania, it's a breath of fresh air for those who have played the base Dead Cells in the past, plus the music is fantastic.

Do not get Wild Hearts on PC right now. The game itself is great, and something you should pick up if you want to get into monster hunting, but the garbage performance me and many other players have experienced cannot be excused.

If Black Eye Games had fixed some of this game’s glaring issues, we could’ve had something cool here, but there are still much better options out there.

The second game offers online crossplay for people looking to take on other players around the world, though sometimes it’s hard to find matches to play in.

Estencel is stuffed full of those identifiable and unique gameplay mechanics that makes Souls-likes so fun to play. However, visually speaking, it’s lacking some much-needed detail.

Pupperazzi does a great job at being an adorable and relaxing game that's easy to put down and pick up at your leisure! 12/10 would pet the pups again.

The Last Kids on Earth: Hit the Deck! is a challenging card-battling game that is full of personality and fun characters. You don’t need to have previous knowledge of the books or Netflix series to enjoy it, but if you were expecting a different all-new story then you may be disappointed. Elderand is a game full of mystery, monsters, exploration, and gore. With so much to see this title is sure to keep you busy for a long time. I just wish you were able to make spots on the map so you knew specific locations to come back to once you get new abilities.

Hogwarts Legacy is a must-have for fans, and worth a buy for everyone else if they’re interested. It does have its shortcomings, but its stellar gameplay and world allows it to stand on its own.

It would take a careless development team to create a terrible remake of a game, and Triskell Interactive are not one of them; they faithfully created something worth playing while integrating the feeling of playing the original

Wanted: Dead isn’t as bad as the worst games to come out recently but sloppy game design and story-telling has let down what could have been a decent game to play.

Whateverland is a simple point-and-click adventure that is just fun; though the complexity might be a bit bothersome for others, I found it a charming and enjoyable aspect.

NEScape! is a great concept with some clever puzzles, and I enjoyed the rush they gave me, but some minor issues held it back.

Lone Ruin is a beautiful and addictive game where you can choose your path and power-ups as you progress through these abandoned ruins fighting off numerous enemies. Unfortunately, the game is quite short, especially if you aren’t interested in getting a high score on the Leaderboard.

The King’s Dilemma: Chronicles is a must-have game that expertly immerses you into the issues of your people, other factions and the murderous cults and beings that wander into your lands. If you have the time and remaining Christmas money, get this game.

8-Bit Adventures 2 is a beautiful, turn-based RPG inspired by all the classic titles on the NES and improved to make the gameplay even better. This game will have you hooked with a compelling and unique story; it's a must-play!

While it can get into a repetitive game loop at times, the developers have attempted to sprinkle in some items for the sake of replayability. Entertaining and easy to pick up, this title is worth checking out for those interested in straightforward management games.

An unfinished game that left Early Access too soon. Into The Flame’s inconsistent dedication to realism cannot reconcile with fun, smooth gameplay. With frustrating controls, underwhelming visuals, and widespread bugs, it isn’t worth your time.

BLACKTAIL is an RPG full of exploration, crafting, and magic. Based on Slavic Folklore, this isn’t your typical happy story; this is a dark tale full of difficult choices. It may take some time to learn how to use your bow well, but once you figure out the proper timing and technique, you will be more successful in battle.

ONE PIECE ODYSSEY is a fantastic journey with the Straw Hat Crew, that combines a light-hearted adventure, with a fun and flashy combat system. A must-play if you’re a ONE PIECE fan, though still very much recommended even if you’re not.

Despite a few rough edges, WW2 Rebuilder has an addictive gameplay loop with new mechanics added in almost every level. A fun, stress-free simulator that is sure to delight fans of the genre.

Gungrave G.O.R.E suffers from old style linear gameplay tropes — while the combat is fluid, the constant enemy waves over 12-14 hours quickly lose any sense of joy. Lack of available exploration also means you really only have the boss fights to look forward to.

Treehouse Riddle's familiar puzzles are simple enough to be welcoming to newcomers and complex enough that they'll challenge veterans. I just wish that more new and innovative puzzles had been implemented.

TAPE: Unveil the Memories is a pretty solid narrative story if you're into dark themes and exploring the subconscious.

Unusual Things has a lot of cool ideas — from the awesome 80s setting to the fact that your dialogue choices influence the ending. The problem was the stagnation: outside of sex jokes and dark themes, the game never found its personality.

When it opens up it might be just what you want, the only issue is that you might not play it long enough for it to open up…

Bots Are Stupid is a 2D precision platformer with innovative controls and gameplay. Solving its puzzles can be tedious, but overcoming the challenges is highly satisfying. Ultimately, it’s great for players interested in coding, level creation, and speedrunning.

Party Maker has a lot of charm, and despite some of the features feeling a bit unpolished, I would've loved to recommend it. Unfortunately, there's a game-breaking bug and no way to fix it.

Naraka: Bladepoint is a beautiful-looking and sounding game with some neat battle mechanics and fun martial arts action that is challenging to master. Finding opponents in your area may be tricky so being put against players from a different region with a higher ping rate feels unfair.

Fun with friends for a short time, Firefighting Simulator - The Squad quickly loses its appeal when played alone. Commanding a team of unthinking AI that seemingly ignores your orders makes for a frustrating time.

Kainga: Seeds of Civilization is a village-building roguelite with a charming style. It’s challenging to get into and figure out its unique quirks, but has a lot of potential. Ultimately the game is let down by its AI, various bugs, and lack of a save feature.

A decent game to play where you’ll be asking yourself “what is going on?” but not out of curiosity.

Though slightly held back by its visual presentation and potentially polarising humour, Trombone Champ is a respectable rhythm game with enjoyable gameplay that fans of the genre are bound to enjoy.

Divine Knockout(DKO) had so much potential, but it falls into the trap many other multiplayer games fall into, focusing too much on one area with every other area being barely touched. It would be doing much worse if it weren’t for the visuals and fun gameplay.

Tad the Lost Explorer is a nice-looking 3D platformer that sends you around the world to solve puzzles, discover treasures, and prove that you are a great explorer. There are issues with some of the puzzles where completing it doesn't trigger the next event correctly, so you may need to replay sections.

A refreshing simulator that lets you do what is advertised which is easy to play but hard to master. Pay attention to what you’re doing and you’ll be the number one brewer in town.

High On Life is a fun and humorous FPS that, while not innovating on the genre, is a joy to play all throughout its main story. However, it lacks a little technical polish and optional goals.

Probably one of the cutest, most creative platformer titles I've had the pleasure of playing. There's no reason not to pick this game up!

The Knight Witch is a nice-looking game with hand-drawn visuals, charming characters, and an interesting story. The game combines twin-stick shooting, deck building, and Metroidvanias in a unique way I have never played before!

I was very impressed with Bound by Blades, two things I would like from it though would be more open explorable spaces, and a longer story. Other than that, this game is a whole lot of fun.

Gunfire Reborn is a well-formed and illustrated multiplayer game with the ability to play it solo. However, you have to really like repetitive gameplay or roguelites; otherwise, you’ll do your head in after the eleventh attempt on the first stage.

There’s no doubt that Three Hopes offers a story that stands out from its predecessor. While it doesn’t have quite the emotional impact, it still offers plenty of a wild ride of twists and turns.

Ship of Fools is an enjoyable and charming co-op game that has players working together to rid The Forgotten Waters of the sea monsters taking it over. It's a little short, with some slower loading times on the Steam Deck using the dock, but it's one of the most fun co-op games I've played in a while!

Kukoos: Lost Pets is a fun and charming 3D platformer with a ton of charm and weirdness that can’t be found in other titans of the genre. So while its story and performance could use some work, everything else that it gets right more than makes up for it.

Warhammer 40,000: Darktide is a beautiful-looking and sounding game with fun team-combat, even for players who are new to the universe. There are some issues with loading times and connectivity that are sure to be patched in the future.

A Little to the Left is a family-friendly puzzler that’s great in short bursts. It doesn’t have a whole lot of content at the moment, but still provides a few hours of relaxing brain teasers to solve.

Marvel's Midnight Suns manages to meet the hype strongly with an enjoyable cast, an engrossing story, and unique turn- and card-based gameplay to mix it up a bit. If not for Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered, this would easily be the best Marvel game.

Mario Kart Tour makes a surprisingly fantastic mobile game because of the tons of items to collect, the fun gameplay loop, and the short but sweet matches!

Buddy Simulator is an innovative indie adventure set in an RPG world with some clever meta moments. It could use some quality-of-life improvements and bug squashing, but still hits the mark from start to finish.

A great rally game, with an abundance of content from the last few games under Kylotonn’s licensed WRC umbrella, but may adversely suffer from being very similar in presentation to previous entries, however the sheer amount of content available should quell any of those concerns.

God of War: Ragnarok is a fantastic title, building from its predecessor's already phenomenal combat, though the story wasn't everything that I hoped it would be.

Sonic Frontiers is a unique addition to the franchise that is really different compared to any of the Sonic titles before it. The game looks and sounds great, but has a couple areas that felt a little rough like the combat and controls in the Cyber Space challenges.

An intriguing little game with a great setting and aesthetic, well worth experiencing blind.

Riley & Rochelle combines ‘90s celebrity culture with a detective-style game that’s impossible not to appreciate.

Tanuki Sunset is a vibrant, arcade-style longboarding game that has you playing as an extreme raccoon with a love of speed. It's a simple game that takes practise to master, but sure to get your heart pounding as you fly down winding roads!
