A unique storyline, amazing art direction and simple combat mechanics, Darksiders does things differently enough to distinguish itself as the first great game of 2010 even though its not a perfect game. If you’ve got some money burning a hole in your pocket, Vigil Games’ first effort is worth every dollar.- GameFocus

Trauma Team does a great job of enticing new players with some great new gameplay, while not alienating those who loved the challenge of the previous games in the series.- GameFocus

Brutal Legend is a solid and entertaining game with an entertaining and interesting story with some of the best audio, soundtrack, sound effects and voice acting, seen this year. Unfortunately the game itself is lacking in variety and innovation. Perhaps the massive marketing blitz provided by EA simply drove expectations to unreachable heights. Regardless, Brutal Legend is at least a must try for any fan of open world action.- GameFocus

If you loved Fallout 3 and are looking for more 23rd century action, then New Vegas should satisfy you to no end. If not, then you might want to pass since the new variances implemented here are not enough to change anyone's mind.- GameFocus

The game’s difficulty will frustrate you at times but if you are looking for a game to play with friends, it’s hard to not recommend Castle Crashers. The length of the game is perfect for an Arcade title and the customization of characters also gives the game a lot more depth. It is unfortunate that problems exist online, but considering this game can still be enjoyed with up to four people on one console, you’re still getting your MS points worth.- GameFocus

It may not be the most diverse package and it certainly won’t convert the non-believers, but for those who have fond memories of insane Wolverine and Spiderman and Ryu v. Cyclops and Cable and Sentinel bouts, it’s the same great taste you’ve enjoyed for years. And on top of that, it’s way cheaper to buy a copy of this download than any other method of picking up this game.- GameFocus

The Tekken 6 PSP experience may not be as "complete" as some may have liked, but the game packs enough punch to make it a worthwhile addition to your portable game collection, particularly if you’re a fan of portable fighting games.- GameFocus

Mario Kart Wii is a complete game. Of course, the addition of the online mode makes this title a keeper and a must have title for your Wii collection but for unconditional local multiplayer lovers, the offline mode has also received some upgrades and tweaks.- GameFocus

It's a shining example of not only how good the original release was, but how much passion Oddworld Inhabitants still has for it. Old and new players alike, this is one PSN game that shouldn't be missed.- GameFocus

What better way to celebrate the ten year anniversary than to bring the original game back with a shiny new coat of paint and some other bells and whistles that, while some may scoff at, truly establishes 343's love for all-things Halo.- GameFocus

If you like the Command and Conquer series Red Alert 3 is a must buy. If you are new to real time strategy games this one might be a bit more daunting for some player then they may like, but the tutorial and the rest of the game make it a must buy as well.- GameFocus

I have to hand it to Telltale, even though I had my doubts, they pulled this off in fine fashion. They've taken what they do best and managed to fit it to a franchise that would seem to be better suited for a different genre altogether.- GameFocus

While ModNation has some minor balance issues to address for solo racers, the online and creation features are the best you'll see on any console. If anything, it makes a nice, fresh experience to transition to from LittleBigPlanet while you are awaiting the release of the sequel.- GameFocus

For those of us who are fans of the Halo series this is a great game to play and have to further explore the rich Halo universe. But for those people looking for a deep strategy experience should look elsewhere because this Real Time Strategy title is not your standard RTS but more of an action game with some RTS elements added in for flavor. A must buy for anyone who likes action games, Halo and playing with their friends.- GameFocus

de Blob has style, it’s got simple but great gameplay, and it offers enough challenge to keep even hardcore platforming enthusiasts happy, while not alienating the casual gaming market. As far as third party games go, this is the cream of the crop for the Wii, and hopefully, other developers will sit up and take notice.- GameFocus

If it wasn’t for the card system, the game would’ve rocked even more for us while experienced Bleach connoisseurs will find the perfect system to use them. Still, Bleach: Dark Souls remains a good fighting game. Of course, anyone who knows the franchise from A to Z will definitely enjoy it more than us.- GameFocus

The amount of customization alone in this game is definitely worth it, but if that weren’t enough, there’s a ton of activities and missions to keep you hooked for quite some time. There’s a wealth of options here and really the only thing that will totally put some people off the game is the lack of serious content, as the game goes out of its way to prove just how ridiculous it can be. For fans of low-brow humour though, this game has it in spades.- GameFocus

Trying to dissociate their name from the PGR brand wasn’t going to be easy. Fortunately, BLUR succeeds. With games like Need For Speed, Burnout, Midnight Club and most recently Split/Second all having a share of the high-octane crazy racing pie, BLUR can proudly sit beside them.- GameFocus

We may never be able to completely experience shooters on portable systems the same way we do on the PC or consoles, but Sony Bend has shown that making a competent and enjoyable portable shooter is not only possible but enjoyable. Without a doubt, Resistance: Retribution is a game that shooter fans will enjoy for a very long time and one that most PSP owners should play and add to their collection.- GameFocus
