In more ways than one, this fifth installment (of the core console franchise) feels like the definitive Assassin's Creed experience.

For NeverSoft and Activision’s first attempt at giving gamers the full band experience, they’ve done a good job. Unfortunately, when compared to the other band game on the market, it still doesn’t manage to better it. This is a still a very good game when viewed only on its own, but when you place it side by side with its competition you can see that there is still much that can be improved. Those loyal to the Guitar Hero series will not be disappointed but fans the other series won’t feel like they are missing anything.

The value here is high because there are a huge number of single player World Tour races, single player single races and multiplayer racing which will appeal to everyone. Building your own ATV is also very sweet since you can customize the hell out of it.

LocoRoco 2 is a great continuation to the series and a game that most, if not all, PSP owners should have in their collection. Other than the minor gripe with the sensitive controls, there is a lot to love about this game. If you missed the opportunity to play the first, there is no real excuse to not get LocoRoco 2. At a very affordable price-point, you’re getting more than enough to satisfy your portable gaming needs for a long time.

While it doesn't exactly innovate, there's nothing that could really keep me from recommending this game.

Not often do you see a game that is equally rewarding as it is frustrating; and it's not because the game is unfair.

Let’s put it this way: if you bought World Tour and ended up disappointed, the chances that the same thing will happen to you again are incredibly thin. I’m not afraid to say that Guitar Hero 5 is exactly what World Tour should have been in the first place.

Hardcore Road to Glory fans may not agree with my final statement, but NCAA Football 11 is the best game in the current generation series and is definitely a solid and important improvement on its predecessor. What EA Tiburon/EA Canada have accomplished deserves all the praise I can give.

With the extra development time given for Undisputed 3, it's strange to see just how similar it is to the prior entries in the series.

By delivering a solid campaign mode, an incredibly vast open world, destructible environments and addictive multiplayer modes, THQ and Volition brings you a high quality game that you can’t miss. Red Faction: Guerrilla is a must have in your collection and it won’t be forgotten when award season starts somewhere by the end of the year. While people aren’t expecting the game that much, they will be extremely surprised by it. We highly recommend it.

It may not be the most diverse package and it certainly won’t convert the non-believers, but for those who have fond memories of insane Wolverine and Spiderman and Ryu v. Cyclops and Cable and Sentinel bouts, it’s the same great taste you’ve enjoyed for years. And on top of that, it’s way cheaper to buy a copy of this download than any other method of picking up this game.

Mortal Kombat on the Vita is one of the most impressive games on the device thus far. There are hardly any flaws in the game, and the boatloads of content provided will give fans of the franchise plenty to do while they bide their time waiting for the next big Vita release.

Ubisoft Montréal took an enormous risk by taking a whole new direction with this new Prince of Persia. Although the final product could have included greater difficulty and more emphasis on combat for the non-casual crowd; we can safely say that the risk was indeed worth it.

The overall quality of the game is not as high as I expected because I love the Sly Cooper games but as the first game this generation from Sucker Punch it makes this a must buy for PS3 owners. Just do not expect anything stellar or new in terms of gameplay, as we have seen much this game has to offer before and done slightly better.

Great game and one of the best first person shooters of all time with only a few minor issues such as you will always be on the run and sometimes you must travel far distances for missions. But with plenty of weapons, vehicles, zebras, and for you pyromaniacs out there you can do some major damage with fire, there is a lot of fun to be had.

Owners of Dawn of War II should not hesitate to pick up Chaos Rising. You will be treated to over a dozen great missions, additional Heroes to use in multiplayer and the ability to play as the Chaos Space Marines, on top of some nice, new Multiplayer maps.

There will always be room for improvement, but Crysis 2 has managed to surpass its competition in almost every category. There's little here that will convert non-FPS players, but fans of the genre would be doing themselves a disservice if they missed out on the Nanosuit 2.0.

It is one of those rare games that are perfect for the casual gamer who cannot spend much time gaming or is not very good at gaming in general or the hard core gamer who likes to play with friends and see this fast unique title in action. It is a must buy for all gamers and is a great way to start off Microsoft’s 2009 Summer of Arcade. If the rest of the titles are this good it will be a great summer to be indoors.

Some might see it as a way to get people's attention for the much-talked sequel. Others as a way to correct a marketing mistake. Personally I see both affirmations as correct. Still, this HD return is certainly worth checking out.

Resident Evil 5 is a Resident Evil game which is trying to be an action game while keeping the old survival horror feeling which the franchise is known for. While it worked with Resident Evil 4 to a certain point, the next-generation evolution of gaming forces developers to retool their original visions in order to deliver something to remember. Resident Evil 5 tries constantly to remind us it’s still a Resident Evil game but all I saw was a very restrictive, slow and totally emotionally broken action game.

Battlefield 3 has a near-perfect multiplayer experience. Unfortunately, it also has a sad single-player campaign with a mess of a story (even for a first-person shooter), and the co-op is just barely above adequate.
