Company of Heroes 2 focuses more on online gameplay than a single-player driven experience. War on the Eastern Front is just as chaotic as it was in the West, but the addition of environmental factors adds a new level of depth that players will also have to tackle. Realistic combat coupled with a multiplayer mode that delivers will keep you charging the fields for an extended period of time.

The newly redesigned characters combined with the already stellar graphics and physics make this a great game to play whether you're a fan of pool or if you just want a cool game to play this summer. Squad-based shooter mechanics should have translated really well to the Resident Evil formula, and could have expanded the series beyond the lone-wolf style of earlier entries. It's just too bad that the poor AI, lack of a satisfying story mode, and dated graphics got in the way.
