We dig the Career and Tournament modes, and the ability to create your player from the ground up and play online tournaments is cool, but Top Spin 3's inaccessible and sloppy controls killed our high expectations.

Its mini-games and four-player action (local only, no online) are somewhat cool, but the lack of a player customization tool and a Career Mode send it out of bounds.

It's not the most comfortable way to play, but it is very effective way to jam with.

Its instruments work well, there are plenty of songs to rock out to and the multiplayer component is irresistible. It may not have the greatest stage presence, but it still puts on a heck of a show.

For its budget $20 price, this is a great introduction for those who missed the glory days of gaming or a pleasant welcome back to those who loved the original.

It is far less functional than its other console counterparts. The camera angles leave you wide open to damage while you manually rotate it. The gameplay is even more tedious, with minimal yet frustrating usage of the Wii's unique control set-up.

The driving is an excellent blend of high-speed antics and risk, as one crash can quickly end your run.

The Flashback feature is a splendid addition, which allows you to reverse time for a few seconds, despite having to use it sparingly.

Although the game is challenging, it's not so tough that winning seems completely out of reach for novice drivers, which makes this racing game worth having.

The presentation is also given a surprising amount of attention, with impressive lighting effects, swift animation, and solid (although far from perfect) level design. Having Jack Black on board to voice Po is a smart move, too.

The multiplayer modes aren't bad, but you have to unlock most of them and they're strictly off-line.
