It's solid fun, but rarely anything more – if you owned the N64 version, I strongly advise that you stay away from this.- GameCube Europe

It’ll infuriate and irritate you to no end, but it’ll also evoke a level of wonder and satisfaction to eclipse it.- GameCube Europe

Best served with 3 mates and a cold beer, great fun and easy to pick up. Only down side is it’s not the ‘No Mercy’ many of us had hoped for, and it’s already out of date which cant really be helped with such a dismal ‘create a wrestler’ mode.- GameCube Europe

There are a few annoyances like bridges you can fall off a little too easily, the AI that's quite clumsy in places and the fact that it does get repetitive in the end. But you can't stay mad at a game that lets you chuck a complete jet ski at an opponent as Rogue or Colossus, admit it!- GameCube Europe

Despite some flaws and relatively few improvements (on the PC this would be just another expansion pack), it still may be worth a purchase.- GameCube Europe

Although there are some 15 levels available here even a novice gamer should have it all tied up in a number of sittings.- GameCube Europe

Easily the best game of their franchise, though mechanical engine flaws prevents this game to compete against the top brawlers such as the mighty "Soul Calibur."- GameCube Europe

Good visuals, loads of cars and loads more tracks great fun with three friends but, let down by the one player mode which will cause a lot of frustration when your stuck in the local rallies with a privateer car that seems to bounce, spin, and tumble more than drive.- GameCube Europe

The main game though remains a solid arcade experience and for T-800 fanatics this really is the closest you're likely to come at the moment of actually experiencing the excitement of being in a Terminator Movie.- GameCube Europe

The game has 5 fast skull breaking levels which may look like it's not much, but it takes a while to get through them all, because it is unbelievably hard.- GameCube Europe

Like Kirby's old games, its simple fun but it won't last very long. If you want a nice simple multiplayer game that anybody can step into without too much effort, this is a game to consider.- GameCube Europe

The action is addictive enough to try and finish it, which will take about 15 hours.- GameCube Europe

The story may be weak and the opposition dumb; the lack of depth doesn’t have to stop you from having a great time blasting some Soviets in this otherwise decent game.- GameCube Europe

The first play through is genuinely enjoyable and the two-player option just about as good as it gets. Given the number of bikes on the track it's a shame that a four-player option wasn't included.- GameCube Europe

Plain and simple, if you played/own this game on any other system that it’s been on then don’t bother handing over your cash for this one, there is nothing new or different in it.- GameCube Europe

A lot of fun to play, it’s filled with good puzzles and because of the varied levels you’ll have a good time right untill the end. Too bad that end comes a bit too soon though.- GameCube Europe

Good for quick laugh, but that's about it. No multiplayer, and limited gameplay means there's not much life in this game.- GameCube Europe

Although it has more than its fair share of good points, Need for Speed 2 should have been so much more and you can't help but come back to that annoying frame rate.- GameCube Europe

Not enough was spent to really think about the story or the gameplay in my opinion as should have been.- GameCube Europe

Batman has never looked so good and for once the developers have taken as much care with the gameplay and story as they have with the overall presentation.- GameCube Europe

The biggest problem with LA Heist is that although it's on the so called 'next gem' consoles it's not as enjoyable or immersive as SCI's stab to the genre some years ago.- GameCube Europe

Overall the Streetfighter games have always been annoyingly hard, and in times where gameplay is focused on a merely mainstream type of gamers, this game probably suits the need for those hardcore arcade action lovers.- GameCube Europe

A nice game, but it doesn't offer enough to be anywhere near special. The AI is not above average and the lack of online modes hurts the longevity.- GameCube Europe

An entertaining racing game, but also has quite some faults, most notably overtaking and handling. If you think you can live with the shortcomings mentioned above, and are eagerly awaiting something like GT for your purple box, this is what comes closest.- GameCube Europe

What hurts the game though is the fact that it's so short, with little replay value and most players are likely to complete the whole thing in two or three sittings.- GameCube Europe

Credible, honest stealth; but imperfect, limited stealth too. The Xbox version is, again, vastly superior, but the GC game's Co-op still throws up a memorable experience.- GameCube Europe

It doesn’t look as hot as the Cube-exclusive Resident Evils but you get used to the visuals pretty quickly. The controls are pretty much as clunky as in the first few games (you can use the C-type controls introduced in the remake though), so if you don’t have a problem with those you’ll be fine playing Code Veronica.- GameCube Europe
