Football purist may not be interested, but if you like over the top arcade sport sims in the tradition of "NBA Jam" and "NHL Hitz," this is an excellent choice to satisfy your football needs during the winter.

Twisted, deep, engrossing and genuinely different. It's a very grown-up experience, stretching what games can be and making set-piece based scare-em-ups like the recent "Doom 3" look horribly crude and simplistic in comparison.

The strategic long fights are a welcome relieve from the button mashing found in most other boxing games, you really have to observe and react to win matches.

This is a good game, wielding a light saber is really cool, but because first-impressions are so bad, some may be tempted to return it before they even get they’re hands on a lightsaber.

A great war game; great controls, great atmosphere. It continues the road walked with Frontline and tweaks some of the elements.

The game’s core elements – cue control and ball physics – work so well, you’ll take any inconveniences into the bargain. In a world full of action games, Pool Paradise’s relaxed style is a welcome change.

Electroplankton’s value is very difficult to quantify, and on its own terms succeeds in what it set out to achieve- a ‘touchable media art’ piece of software (creator Toshio Iwai’s words) and in that context it is difficult to find fault with it.

The gameplay is relatively basic but intriguing nonetheless and especially suitable for newcomers who have a slight interest in the genre or people who are looking for something different for their cube.

The first game in quite some time that captures the feeling the old Sonic games gave you. It’s very fast and has pretty big levels with multiple routes through them.

It’s great to have so much in one game, but in the end you’ll play "Burnout 2" if you want to race and "Soul Calibur 2" if you want to fight, not True Crime.

It’s an RPG with battles! What more do you want? But it does have its down points, one of them being a high level of frustration endured in some places and don’t forget there being no mini games.

It takes elements from many great shooters and has bundled them into a real life based situation.

A true sequel; playing it feels more like playing new Viewtiful Joe levels than playing a new game.

It's good but lacks having any special feel. It's got all the ingredience of a fighter that we have all grown towards and learnt to love.

The top speed gameplay and accompanying effects that come with it are really impressive. The only real downside is that there isn’t enough depth in the gameplay.

Lifespan is the main issue here, as everything else is in place. It took me a week to finish Race and Showoff mode with one character. There is loads left, though, so the potential for a long lasting game is there, it just really depends on whether or not you want to go through it all again and again.

The game can grow on you although it will never surprise you. If you are a fervent platform lover and can pick this game up at a fair price, you probably won’t regret it. Otherwise, leave Pitfall Harry as it is.

There’s a great deal to collect and unlock in Billy Hatcher, so if you enjoy rolling eggs around you can keep doing so for quite some time after you’ve finished the game.

It’s definitely the Mario Party title you’ll want to buy if you’re new to the series, since it has the most minigames and the best boards of the Cube iterations.

The levels are pretty big and there is something to do on every streetcorner, and whether it’s taking a racing challenge from Milhouse, visiting Moe’s or just driving over the comic book guy, it’s always fun.

The strategy elements add a much-needed additional theme to the package but it remains to be seen if the same type of gamer who's interested in reckless driving is also into trading commodities.

The story is your typical Tom Clancy affair, complete with terrorist threats and biochemical weapons, so don’t look for fresh ideas there. The replay value is beaten down by the lack of multiplayer modes and the fairly linear levels.

Without a doubt the best puzzle game on the Cube at the moment. It’s not as accessible as a Game Boy with "Tetris," but that’s simply because you can’t carry your Cube with you all the time.

If you've already purchased "Crazy Taxi" then there's little here to tempt you into buying what is essentially the same product unless, of course, you're a huge Simpsons fan.
