Rarely have I seen such uninspired awkward gameplay for a GameCube game, well nurtured visuals yes, but the game has not one interesting or surprising moment.

The camera becomes very annoying and only leads to build up frustration at times. The story takes time to get going which I find is the main cause of the boredom.

Definitely one for the younger gamers (and by that I mean the under tens) and fans of the boy genius who'll no doubt find enough to entertain them.

If you can put up with the dire controls, the sometimes frustrating difficulty level and that hugely irritating RR commentator, you might want to give this a look.

So expect no high graphics standard, no special touch screen features, let alone other renewing stuff. Madagascar just brings you a standard platform game that follows the story of the movie. No more, no less.

Overall, you could complete this game in around five hours first time, plus maybe another hour if you want to bother collecting 100% items.

It's lazy, it's textbook and less than half of it is worth playing.

The loading times will put you to sleep. The difficulty doesn’t even seem to change when you increase the settings. The gameplay becomes too repetitive and has little to no variety.

While not as bad as the majority of critics are reporting it's certainly not worthy of a full price title.

A dull, uninspriring pile of nonsense. Poor graphics, awful sound and a severe lack of gameplay make this a game that is best left on the shelves.

Yeah, the game is really long, but is there any variety or challenge? Not really. And, if you're not sick of playing by the end of just a couple of these annoyingly long levels, I admire your patience.

This game took me less than two hours, as a pose to "Resident Evil’s" 18 hours, first time round.

An uninspiring, tedious, dull game unworthy of your money, unless deeply into Ice Hockey.

Stay far away from this game.

And you should all be outraged by the blatant James Pond rip-off, too.

It's got annoying gameplay, slow speech and dialogue scenes which are un-skippable, and a camera that just wants to do everything but help you play the game - (stopping in mid battle whilst still getting bombarded with cannonballs to try and move the camera to behind your character). The results are a perfect mess that just isn't fun.

Not even for preteen fans of the Disney characters. They will cry tears and disappointment, rage, and anger. Like my brother when he played this game. "What have they done to Mickey?"
