Ghostbusters VR is a short and very poor VR experience.- Gameblog.fr

Classicvanias and retro action games fans can give a chance to Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon on blind faith. This game is a beautiful, really enjoyable - even if it can considered a bit short - and vibrant tribute to Castlevania III : Dracula's Curse with some great action and platforming, beautiful 8-Bit graphics and musics, in a new setting that we hope will fulfill its potential with Ritual of the Night.- Gameblog.fr

Atelier Lydie & Suelle: The Alchemist and the Myterious Paintings looks like an efficient and long RPG with some good mechanics but will clearly fail to impress or surprise you (except if we talk about its expensive DLC), as its lacks novelty. If you're a true fan, you'll get what you want. If you're not familiar with the series, you could give it a try with this Switch version.- Gameblog.fr

Dark Souls Remastered is the best version for Dark Souls on consoles, and it's still one of the best action-RPG of all time. The 60fps framerate is a real pleasure, as the other technical improvements too. We would have preferred a real remake, but it's still a very good way to (re)discover the series.- Gameblog.fr

With no doubt, Detroit: Become Human is the most advanced Quantic Dream experience. The story is more bending than ever, as your choices and actions really matter, and it's supported by great characters and acting. The narrative still has some flaws, but this is definitely a game every fan of the genre should play.- Gameblog.fr

State of Decay 2 is an interesting "post zombie apocalypse life simulator" that forces the player to manage every aspect of a survivor's life. It's too bad that its story isn't very interesting. And what to say about those bugs: there are just so many of them... With better production values, State of Decay could have been a truly special game.- Gameblog.fr

On Nintendo Switch, Hyrule Warriors Definitive Edition is pretty much the same action packed and repetitive beat-em-all it was on Wii U four years ago, with some improvements on the technical side and all the DLC. For Zelda or Muso fans, it's still a joyful way to blow off steam. But if you own it on Wii U or 3DS, there's only one feature you'll notice, split screen on portable mode.- Gameblog.fr

Little Witch Academia: Chamber of Time is the video game adaptation you were not expecting and won't care about if you are not an hardcore fan of the anime. The game is a weird mix between an old-school 2D side-scrolling and a PS2 era RPG but does not stand out in any of the genre it tries to tackle. However, only once you forget about the core gameplay and simply wander around the aisle of the Academia speaking with Akko's little friends, then you can really start enjoying Chamber of Time. Not for what it is, but for what it is not: a visual novel set within the world of Little Witch Academia starring the cutest hero of all time, Akko!- Gameblog.fr

Fox n Forests delivers a religious homage to the 16-bit era platformers, with satisfying big sprites, pixelart backgrounds, but also loose collisions and a mad respawn system. Its numerous upgrades add a nice touch to the adventure, but serves as a weak excuse to revisit the same stages over and over. This is particularly unfortunate, because Fox n Forests still has nice aces up its sleeve, like specific controls and shoot'em up stages.- Gameblog.fr

Pillars of Eternity 2 is a very good sequel. It doesn't takes a lot of risks (muddled combat system, not enough serendipity in quests), but is still is an awesome lesson of how build a good RPG, with a fantastic writing and a beautiful art direction.- Gameblog.fr

Dreamlike and original, Light Fall misses its point by being unsteady form start to finish. If the nice Shadow Core mechanics might charm you during the first moments of the game, its level design and very short adventure will not last long in the mind of every platformer addict. However, speedrunners might like the dedicated mode, which works nicely for those interested by emergent gameplay.- Gameblog.fr

Like an ambitious rookie, AO International Tennis appeared promising, with alleged photo realistic looks and authenticity backed by an extensive data built AI. But Big Ant Studios' production can't live up to these expectations, at least for now, despite an interesting timing approach and undeniable efforts showed through the numerous updates. The lacklustre presentation, the shallow (though large amount of) content and the erratic gameplay literally smash the whole experience, which still looks more like some distant imitation rather than simulation, hence suggesting the lack of a bold, expert direction overall.- Gameblog.fr

The Forest is one of the best survival games to date, especially because of its interesting story, inspired by horror movies like The Descent. Everything is here to remind you that the surrounding nature will do everything to destroy your morale and your life. Oppressive, stressful, but so exhilarating, The Forest is made for any survival games' fans, even if it suffers from weird physics and perfectible AI.- Gameblog.fr

A Total War Saga Thrones of Britannia is a good spin-off with very good ideas especially in the Campaign. We can almost feel a Paradox's touch in the wargame part, so it's a very good things (food system, resupply, etc). Unfortunately the technical part and the graphic engine are old and we are far from the graphic slap of the era of Empire Total War or Rome II.- Gameblog.fr

Frostpunk is a very good management game. Intelligent, dark and mature, its major flaw is its lack of replay value and the lack of impact of moral choices. Despite that, it's clearly a must have for all management/survival game lovers.- Gameblog.fr

BattleTech has a lot of qualities. It offers a rich and deep universe and some quite interesting game mechanics. Refreshing in the tactical genre, it's also a real pleasure for micromanagements' enthusiasts. Sadly, visuals are not on par. It's not exactly what we'd call a pleasure for the eyes.- Gameblog.fr

The Swords of Ditto delivers an accessible rogue-like experience served by beautiful artistic direction, and a soft difficulty curve quite rare for the genre. Thanks to a shared experience system, death is no longer tragic, but fans of rogue-likes will certainly find the adventure quite simple, mostly because of a basic combat system and too many random dungeons.- Gameblog.fr

Ghost of a Tale is a game made with love and for lovers of beautiful things. The principles are quite generic (we look for keys, which open doors that unlock new possibilities...), but they are articulated with care and intelligence. If you like to think and play with elegance while having a good time, here is a title that should be played. Ghost of a tale is well worth it. Just to encourage the creation of other games of this caliber. The animators of the cinema get along well with video games.- Gameblog.fr

God of War is an astonishing achievement in the series, a magnificent and deep game that plays quite differently but greatly and succeeds in absolutely every aspect. The action is great, the exploration is great, the story is great, the characters - who are remarkably played - are great, the setting is wonderful, the music is truly special: players can't turn their back on this absolute work of art.- Gameblog.fr
