On top of quantity, Mario Party: The Top 100 gathers quality minigames that were wisely chosen, nicely updated and carefully ported to the portable console, although this nostalgic selection also results from the eventual compatibility with the original controls, consequently creating a few issues. Worse, the main modes are too simplistic and almost void of content. Whether those underline a lack of inspiration or development time, such shortcomings prevent this compilation from expressing its potential further than brief multiplayer sessions.- Gameblog.fr

With Life is Strange Before the Storm - Episode 3 : Hell is Empty, Deck Nine brings a satisfying conclusion to this prequel. Even if we could have expected some more significant consequences to the choices we wake, it's still a touching story for two really adorable characters in a lovely world. A godd way to wait for what's next.- Gameblog.fr

Sold as a Metal Gear Solid parody, Never Stop Sneakin' delivers mission after mission of some top down infiltration fun with retro visuals which clearly act as a strong homage to the PlayStation console. Strong as it can be within its first hours, the game runs short of ideas before we really expect it to, perhaps acting too generously too early to keep up with the genre.- Gameblog.fr

Through such arduous trials, the Champions' Ballad pushes Breath of the Wild's mechanics to their limits, whether combat or puzzles. Hence this quest leads to discover all the subtleties of the gameplay, and explore this world deeper with no stone left unturned. Although the riddles are often composed of familiar refrains while the delicate, then ultimately moving narrative remains in the background, this expansion makes The Legend of Zelda : Breath of the Wild even more unforgettable.- Gameblog.fr

At first, It'z Quiz Time first feels promising as it has some good ideas and is really easy to play. But players can quickly be bored by its quite awkward digital hostess and the way some rounds play.- Gameblog.fr

Dead Rising 4: Frank's Big Package is the Xbox One version with all its additional content - that need a 17Go file to download. It is still a fun action game that runs smoothly on PS4 and offers some interesting modes beside its solo campaign.- Gameblog.fr

This new section of the solo campaign is very classic but interesting when you are a Star Wars fan. For the others, it may be clearly dispensable. AI is totally stupid (especially on Vardos) and the planet have too many "corridors". Fortunately, the beautiful environments of the Stellar Destroyer can compensate Vardos's problems. Fortunately, it's totally free.- Gameblog.fr

The sooner the better? This may apply to Pokémon Ultra-Sun and Ultra-Moon in many ways. While fresh memories from the previous episodes help to notice the small, delicate differences, with clever twists aimed at Alola's returning vacationers, the main story transformations happen rather late. Similarly, the additions are mostly interesting, even captivating, but they often lack more development to display their full potential, and overall flaws were not really addressed, in particular tedious pace and inconsistent challenge. However, the generous amount of commemorative - not to say recycled - content suggests Game Freak tried to achieve some closure there, broken rules like the introduction of new species during this generation hinting that the series might seriously evolve in the future. Better late than never.- Gameblog.fr

Chaos on Deponia is an excellent point and click game that really suits PS4 - which was already the case with Deponia. It is visually superb and displays some fantastic arts and is really fun. We wish it could have brought some bonus like artworks with it.- Gameblog.fr

Why did Square Enix bother to work on an online version of Final Fantasy XV ? Comrades just cuts short the open fights of the main game, taking off its charming exploration part. Naked as a baby, the adventure only serves four-players redundant fights, only if you survived the long lobby waiting. Only the hardcore dying fans of the Eos universe should spend some good time playing it.- Gameblog.fr

Looking like a DLC for the 2016's DOOM, VFR can easily be considered a pleasant experience as it's still a bloody nervous FPS. But none of the ways to control the main protagonist feels fully satisfying, which is too bad.- Gameblog.fr

Dungeons 3 lets us with a frown. The management part is very good with lot of possibilities but on the other hand, RTS part is too classic. It's too redundant to be a fully enjoyable experience.- Gameblog.fr

This Black Mirror reboot is a wonky adventure game flawed with some terrible gameplay ideas and a lot of loading issues. Even if you're a fan of the genre and a patient gamer, it's difficult to recommend it.- Gameblog.fr

Who could be interested in Super Lucky's Tale? Without its VR feature, Playful's last game seem to just be. Experienced players will not find anything worth the time in this basic platformer which cannot properly imitate any mechanics of the genre. And with its irritating controls, it clearly is not suited for children. Too bad, because its colorful levels had some good ideas here and there.- Gameblog.fr

The Switch port of Resident Evil: Revelations 2 is the most complete to date, thanks to the Switch's various gameplay styles and its motion controls. This version also benefits from allowing two players to play together on either a TV or the Switch's screen.- Gameblog.fr

High Hell will easily speak to every fan of the old-school FPS of the 90's. Thanks to its absurd design, Devolver's new game tastes like a nice trip of acid. The only downside to the formula is indubitably its short length, but we will gladly take those two hours of pure fun.- Gameblog.fr

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 gets bolder in every direction, with a colorful character design backed by a caricatural tone to mask the gravity of the purpose underneath, a denser world deployed vertically, that literally breathes life through atmospheric compositions and folklore. Some ideas deserved more development, but most concepts are organically integrated, the versatile talents of the Blades sharpening the whole gameplay. A way to cut deeper into this huge adventure enriched by the variety and random nature of such symbiotic support creations, while its slight impression of déjà vu only comes from the essential elements scavenged to forge the saga's most refined iteration. Nothing disappears, everything transforms indeed.- Gameblog.fr

A true pleasure to return to Titan Quest 11 years later. A good surprise from THQ Nordic in 2017. This game is a true nostalgic breath of fresh air for many PC players. Is it a sign for a come back of the license, perhaps with a Titan Quest 2? In all cases, this DLC is a great job with very interesting new specialisation and a fascinating lore.- Gameblog.fr

There was so much to hope for from Monster of the Deep: its shimmering universe is pretty amazing once equipped with the PlayStation VR, and the game offers a beautiful walk in the land of Eos. Unfortunately, Square Enix's first virtual reality game misses the spot by falling short on ideas: the game repeats the same mechanics from start to bottom. Still, the idea of defeating a gigantic boss using a crossbow before shoeing him offers some satisfaction from time to time, but the adventure itself looks more like a storm in a teacup.- Gameblog.fr

Ys VIII proves once again that 2016 is the year of J-RPG. Not only does it offer solid RPG elements and dynamic combat sessions, it also does a very good job at making us discover the Siren Island and care for our heroes. And with its excellent graphics (especially for the Vita version) and this very good soundtrack, all that makes it one of the best game of this summer 2016. A great J-RPG to play on the go.- Gameblog.fr

Total War Rome II Empire Divided Empire is a good DLC who brings some fresh elements to an old-looking game. It's focusing on one of the most interesting periods of the Roman Empire (the reign of Aurelian). We can regret the lack of new content in politics after the free update. Total War fans are still unlikely to be disappointed. But to many other players, this DLC will feel dispensable.- Gameblog.fr

With "Fractured Mask," Telltale Games offers a satisfying third episode. Bruce "Batman" Wayne has a lot on his plate and it's getting harder and harder for him to please everybody without blowing his cover and revealing his secret identity. Unfortunately for non-English speakers, the game wouldn't start with French subtitles enabled.- Gameblog.fr
