SoulCalibur VI is a solid fighting game that offers good mechanics and a lot of content to enjoy some legendary fights with weapons. But the roster feels limited and, in terms of visuals, the game seems to have the same design than SoulCalibur V.- Gameblog.fr

CoD Black Ops 4 is a good game, where Treyarch succeeds in offering a AAA Battle Royale experience packed with goods ideas. The Zombie mode is bigger and exhilarating, but unfortunately the classic multiplayer mode doesn't offer anything really new. All that is not enough to make us all forget the solo campaign, which totally disappeared in this episode.- Gameblog.fr

Now on Nintendo Switch, The Worlds Ends with You Final Remix is still a good and enjoyable game, but the port is lazy. Everything comes from Solo Remix, a mobile version from 2014, and the added gameplay system, with one Joy-Con that is used as a wiimote is not as efficient as it should be.- Gameblog.fr

Even though WWE 2K19 doesn't offer the graphical overhaul the franchise so desperately deserves, it takes quite a few steps in the right direction. Its new modes are fun, the Showcase mode makes a triumphant return and its new features are well thought out. WWE 2K19 clearly gives WWE fans something to have a good time with.- Gameblog.fr

Space Hulk: Tactics is an intelligent strategy game that offers deep and satisfying mechanics. The Warhammer 40.000 universe is well represented and the atmosphere is a beautiful love letter to every Warhammer's fan in the the world. Despite this, the game has some annoying bugs and frustrating loading times.- Gameblog.fr

Once again, Grezzo delivers a strong port for the 3DS, even though players of the original game should not expect so many new features. With only a small co-op mode and some items from Luigi's Mansion 2, the game really aims for those who might have missed it back in 2002.- Gameblog.fr

On Switch, Child of Light keeps on being a fantastic, poetic and powerful playable fairy-tale for the whole family, with strong arts, a beautiful story, some easy to understand mechanics and a lovely soundtrack.- Gameblog.fr

Astro Bot is a VR platforming instant classic. In some ways, it is to virtual reality what Mario 64 was to 3D, as it uses a new technology to push new boundaries in the genre. We would have loved for it to have lasted a bit longer though.- Gameblog.fr

428: Shibuya Scramble is clearly a game worthy of its Japanese reputation. Spike Chunsoft's Visual Novel tells a riveting story and makes a really clever use of its multiple bad endings system. The game gives you a tour of the real Shibuya and introduces you to a cast of characters that grows on you very fast. It grows on you so much in fact, that once the game ends, you're sad that you'll never see them again.- Gameblog.fr

To celebrate its late 30th birthday, the Blue Bomber comes back with a strong 11th episode which finally takes some risks. The brand new Double Gear System breezes a fresh wind on the still satisfying classic mechanics of the series. With twisted boss fights and four very well-though difficulty modes, only the very meh soundtracks might deter you from calling back this old pal.- Gameblog.fr

While the classic campaign only revamps the old, individualistic, yet outrageously randomised formula by developing few recent additions, Super Mario Party displays a more strategic approach through special dice dedicated to each character and cooperative modes. This episode also features diverse wonderful mini games that cleverly use the ergonomic particularities of the Nintendo Switch, with a solid competitive dimension even extended online, but the whole program lacks sufficient content to be really worthy of such superlative a title.- Gameblog.fr

Without a doubt, the best DB FighterZ game on console, but you have to pay twice to have all season pass bonuses from PS4 and Xbox One games, and that's a shame.- Gameblog.fr

If Strange Brigade has the good idea to offer an original set and tone in the kind of cooperative shooter, it does so either too late or too bad, but in any case, it does not fully convince. Especially against the competition already in place.- Gameblog.fr

Dakar 18 has plenty of good ideas and has managed to capture what makes the interest of a rally raid like the Dakar. Unfortunately its deficient performance in terms of sensations is causing it great harm. This will only be bearable for true motorsport enthusiasts and this particular kind of event. The others will remain stuck on a rigid animations and a technical realization globally below the average.- Gameblog.fr

Assassin's Creed Odyssey seems to be the series paroxysm: wider, richer and deeper than every other episode, the game still suffers from repetitiveness. The fascinating manhunt and the real choices will keep most players hooked up for a while, but only those who bought a PS4 Pro or a Xbox One X will benefit form the game's beautiful visuals. If you want to explore this endless Greek world inhabited with brilliant minds of their time, you will have to go through more of the same fetch quests the series has dealt with for so long.- Gameblog.fr

Fishing Sim World will probably satisfy fishermen who want to indulge in their favorite leisure on consoles or PCs. The presence of reproduced material faithfully, inspired by the real world will provide. but all the others will pass their way in front of the lack of efforts to democratize this sport and to propose it to the greatest number.- Gameblog.fr

Hokuto Ga Gotoku is clearly one of the best, if not the best, Fist of the North Star video games. Using the Yakuza system was a good idea as it fits with the FOTNS like a glove. It's just too bad that the game runs on Yakuza 0's and not Yakuza 6's engine.- Gameblog.fr

At first, Timespinner feels like a splendid new contender in the Metroidvania genre. It has some strong visuals and music, combat feels good, it offers maps we definitely want to explore and its story and characters are great. But this game feels a bit too easy, should have pushed the time manipulation idea and lacks epic feel in its boss fights, among other things.- Gameblog.fr

The Bard's Tale IV is a little retro pleasure that is difficult to ignore. The characters are fun, its universe is rich and the game mechanics are deep. Unfortunately, the game is not up to par visually and looks like something that was released ten years ago.- Gameblog.fr

South Park: The Stick of Truth is by far the best South Park game ever made and one of the funniest video games ever. Gamers who enjoy a good laugh owe it to themselves to play this game. Track Lab is a nice music creator game, but you can't create full songs, you can only mix. The creation of samples is interesting and the VR saves the game from being pointless. Without it, the game would lost all of its interest.- Gameblog.fr

It starts badly for the characters, but very well for the players. It's a sad story for Sean and Daniel. And we already know with some sequences of this episode that Life is Strange 2 has a chance to be a successful heir to the first season, thanks to its unique atmosphere, well-written characters and some tough choices to make. Potential is here. It's clear DONTNOD has the power to fulfill it.- Gameblog.fr

Forza Horizon 4 brings new ideas and new elements to a base that was already excellent. A base that has also been revealed to be a foundation on which to raise amazing things. The new installment from the polish studio Artifex Mundi is a real treat for the eye. But despite its appealing visuals, My Brother Rabbit fails to deliver a thrilling experience over time. The Golf Club 2019 is a very good golf game, which shines in particular by its game system that is both realistic and rewarding. It does not hustle the codes, but offers an infinite renewal, thanks to its system of procedural generation in addition to the official courses of the PGA Tour. The loading times also benefit from a particular optimization and are non-existent during play, which favors concentration.- Gameblog.fr

Old School Musical is much more than a funny homage to the 8 and 16 bit era. With a strong content of almost 50 tracks and a well-written story mode, La Moutarde's rhythm game delivers a strong content, but you will have to quickly switch to hard mode to face a real challenge. Too bad its classic mechanics avoid taking risks, otherwise it would have been an instant classic on its own.- Gameblog.fr
