Pokémon Unite is an easy to play and well-designed MOBA that inventively translates mechanics of its license to adapt them to the genre. While Pokémon fans will enjoy playing this game, MOBA enthusiasts aren't the primary target since its casual aspect prevails.

NEO: The World Ends With You will keep you hooked with its pretty universe, charming characters, captivating story and its very nice manga/anime design. It has a lot of interesting RPG mechanics that connect you with its world, but in terms of battle system, it is still a bit limited and repetitive.

Winds & Leaves is a charming ans soothing VR experience, but not without flaws. Controls are not very precise and we are kind of disconnected from this artistically dashing world because of aliasing and clipping. A pity, we would have loved to let it grow on us.

Witchcrafty is one of the very last games of the PS Vita. The game is shipped unfinished, with tons of collisions, IA and damage bugs which change at every run. To enjoy this visually charming sorcery adventure, you will have to cope with the dark forces of randomness working against you.

The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles reunites, at last for westerners, two very good games, probably among the best of the franchise. Capcom lets us discover exciting cases, brilliantly written, and some memorable characters. Not very difficult, but indeed very joyful. A must-have for fans and a maybe the best way to discover this amazing franchise.

Death's Door is a nervous action game that transcends Acid Nerve's old formula. Thanks to a clever difficulty, fights with brand new situations, a rewarding exploration and a beautiful soundtrack, Death's Door is the perfect well-balanced experience of this summer, despite a very light pathfinding.

F1 2021 is a very good vintage. While remaining in technical and graphic excellence, the game adds an extra layer of links with real F1 and a bit of emotion with the Breaking Point mode. It is still very much into online gaming and even more so with career co-op. There is also a lot to do in all areas (management, development, tuning, driving), depending on the level of complexity that you have adapted to your tastes. A must have for any Formula One fan.

The Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword HD is a constant fight between good and evil : if the game now makes the most of the 60 fps/HD display and a mostly muted Fi, the classic controls are not easily transposables to a simple controller, and most of the already-outdated game design flaws of the 2011 game are still there.

Two years later, some dark clouds are still shrouding Sky : Children of the Light, from technological or ergonomic points of view. But these prove superficial ways to consider ThatGameCompany's work, since it affirms a unique experience towards universality, expressed through a poetic style, an empathic approach and above all shared emotions, even more powerful thanks to cross-play. This philosophy echoes with the harmoniously introduced story of The Little Prince, that highlights such freedom of investment or interpretation.

Developers have put all efforts into making a game that will accompany the players during all summer and even after. Very solid and more profound than it seems, the combat system benefits of dynamic cut scenes during special attacks that make every battle enjoyable. Alas, the first half of the game might seem too bland and the egg searching and hatching concept quite tedious, but there's no doubt that many players will get fun out of it.

Scarlet Nexus is a charming new IP from Bandai Namco. It looks fine, has a solid background and some good gameplay mechanics. If you are looking for a good anime style action-RPG, it's definitely worth your time.

LEGO Builder's Journey is an amazing experience, even more for players who own a computer that can handle Ray-Tracing. It's simple, efficient, charming and it even if it's short and has a few issues, can please anyone, child or adult.

It's difficult to recommend Dark Alliance to anyone else than biggest fans of Forgotten Realms's lore. The game definitely lacks of polish and doesn't shine at all when you talk about its gameplay, graphics or even its multiplayer options.

Rather than playing safe with the same, proven method, Mario Golf : Super Rush addresses the notion - if not the issue - of pace through a more dynamic approach carried by the new spin system and the optional addition of running between shots, wholly integrated into the environments' ingenious architecture. While such speedy, bumpy or even battling formula may disrupt some calm purists because of the constant pressure, it orientation towards multi player competition and online bursts shows Camelot's very own vision of this sport.

This HD Remaster of Legend of Mana is a strange experience, somewhere in-between : with beautiful and wide landscapes, and a brilliant musical score, the game also offers some old and sometime repulsive gameplay mechanics, especially for newcomers. Legend of Mana is still a good '90s game, but it clearly needed more reflection to match today's standards.

Sadly, Alex Kidd in Miracle World DX is too faithful to the original game, which didn't aged as well as a Wonder Boy Dragon's Trap, to mention another SEGA game remade. Sure, Jankenteam made a beautiful job and it's a pleasure to watch and listen. But it's also a quite irritating 2D platformer as it doesn't play very well and lacks precise controls and hitboxes.

Pro Cycling Manager 2021 is very difficult pass to cross : in one hand, the game lacks novelty and many bugs remain. On another hand, it makes the most of its strong foundations, but in any case, anyone should wait for a few patches to get back in the saddle.

Tour de France 2021 remains a quite good game (accessibility, immersion, strategic options), but Cyanide risks losing credibility with its loyal fans. A graphic step is needed and the developer has to be more generous in novelties so as not to become an anonymous rider in the middle of the peloton.

Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade is as expected a strong next-gen upgrade on an already great game. Its 60fps animation and extra chapter makes it all the more delightful. Too bad you had to wait for it to see the true ending. Not fair, Square Enix.

Just like a super fashioned outfit, DC Super Hero Girls : Teen Power looks nice and feels good at first, but proves superficial, if not caricatural once the supernatural effects disappear to reveal true weaknesses, particularly a lack of depth and character in every sense of the word.

In the end, Stonefly shouldn't be taken for anything else than a pleasant yet ambitionless game. Its major flaws revolve around its gameplay, quite frustrating sometimes, but the overall game setting reveals to be picturesque and unique, not to mention the soothing soundtrack. Behind the humorous, colorful atmosphere, Game Builder Garage proves a real creation environment, with a phenomenally intuitive interface and a clever didactic approach to such a huge amount of possibilities, using almost every function of the system. But Nintendo also made delicate compromises between simplicity and ambition through technical or sharing limitations, hence production will heavily rely on Nodon game designers' efforts.

We probably have our game for the summer with Knockout City . Refreshing, invigorating, accessible and endowed with a huge potential, the title developed by Velan Studios has something to convince you, in particular thanks to a certain replayability, especially with friends. If its look will divide, the content is there : it remains to be fleshed out so as not to exceed the status of simple summer hit.

Thanks to its gorgeous visuals and deeper narrative, Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart arises the series to a new level. With many locations to enjoy, a lot of weapons to try out and many, many collectibles to find, everyone should find a good reason to embark on this bidimensional journey, even though the obvious collision bugs are still way too present.

Super Bomber R Online could have been a wonderful entry in the series. Its 64 players mode is truly a blast... when it all comes together, which never really happens as it suffers very lengthy loading times, frequent bugs and is made to have you buy its Premium Pack in order to not use very powerful special characters.
