Developers have done a great job in correcting what was a bit old or wrong with the first game. We now have a brilliant strategy game that looks fine but is also enjoyable quickly by everyone, thanks to the Campaign Mode. Online gaming has well evolved too and it's quite sure that, even if all the races are not yet available, fans of the franchise and curious players will find what they seek.- Gameblog.fr

One could have feared it would be a dull copy of Layton, but fear not: Rythm Thief is a nice, fresh, rythm game mixed with puzzle elements. The atmosphere of the japanese-dreamt Paris works well, and even though it's a little short, the adventure is indeed very nice.- Gameblog.fr

Beyond a simple, yet expressive artistic presentation and a nostalgic tone, this narrative, subjective, hence immersive experience addresses dementia issues with such authenticity that Before I Forget not only proves unforgettable, but ultimately useful.- Gameblog.fr

Despite its technical issues and many bugs, Kingdom Come Deliverance is an excellent and really unique RPG. Its system reaches depths that has never been seen before, and assumes its diehard historical aspect at the risk of cutting itself off from a big part of the public. Here is a true ode to the European medieval period, and eventually the typical game that you will love or hate with passion.- Gameblog.fr

A nice first dice roll for Harebrained Schemes, but not a critical one. Shadowrun Returns boasts a solid-enough tactical gameplay, but doesn't use it fully enough on this first campaign. You won't feel threatened in combat, and the story is very linear - at least it's a good one. The atmosphere and the fantastic Shadowrun universe are its biggest strengths, so let's hope the community and Harebrained will enrich the game as much as it is worthy to be.- Gameblog.fr

As Blazing Chrome, Vengeful Guardian Moonrider is a neat tribute to old action games. It really feels like a lost Mega Drive title, but on more modern platforms. A good retro trip with a gorgeous aesthetics from the 90s and a soundtrack that could have been in a Streets of Rage game. Imperfect, yes, but generous.- Gameblog.fr

Far Cry Primal is instantly pleasing to the senses and great to play. Stone Age is a really interesting setting and the whole map offers a lot of content and some great supporting characters. But from a certain point, you realize that the game lacks a solid story, charismatic antagonists, and that it's very repetitive.- Gameblog.fr

Leaning more towards the action side of its gameplay, and offering an Arcade mode to take full advantage of refined mechanics, this Alan Wake spin-off could be seen as forgetting its glorious predecessor, but that would be a mistaken judgement. The story is clearly well-linked to the original, and the atmosphere, helped by a new setting and this spot-on atmosphere and writing combination, deliver a true Alan Wake experience. If you're a fan, this full-fledged XBLA game is unmissable.- Gameblog.fr

Days Gone on PC offers a visually pleasing experience and solid in its entirety, thus erasing the few technical mistakes of the PS4 version. It is pleasant to follow the tribulations of Deacon St John for several hours, despite some black spots like the AI, the repetitiveness of the missions and the bestiary which is sorely lacking in variety. However, this does not prevent Bend Studio from offering a technically successful title.- Gameblog.fr

12 Minutes is a brilliant, complex, dense and very smart point and click adventure, which amazes each time you play it, thanks to its many, many branches. Served by a talented and rightfully toned cast, 12 Minutes is a rare and outstanding experience all the way.- Gameblog.fr

Super Mario Run is an excellent Runner, and the Mario universe is of course adding a lot to the formula. But with its huge qualities comes a big flaw: a permanent connection is required to play, which can be a shame for a mobile game.- Gameblog.fr

Rise of the Ronin is the most ambitious game of Team Ninja and by far. Much more narrative than its predecessors, it unfortunately takes quite a long time to become really interesting. That's the risk when you want to create fiction when it doesn’t need to. But it is also the fault of an open world far behind a certain Ghost of Tsushima. In the end Rise of the Ronin is an open world game among many others, but with an ultra-dynamic, demanding and very deep gameplay.- Gameblog.fr

If you are old enough to be nostalgic about this game, originally released in 1989 on NES and Game Boy, you'll have a lot of fun with Duck Tales Remastered. However, if you are part of the younger generation and if those old platformers' remakes do not interest you that much, then find something else, because you will find the game too short and its gameplay too classic.- Gameblog.fr

Despite its childish look, Pikuniku tells us a revolutionary tale of a random guy joining a resistance group fighting against an evil corporation. Funny until the end, Devolver's new game may mostly count on its strange physics, even to the point of frustration when the game asks for strong platformer parts. The two-player mode might balance a very short length though.- Gameblog.fr

Despite a certain lack of inspiration, the WarioWare company keeps having some ambition, potentially less lucrative than its greedy owner's. Thus Get It Together! favors efficiency over quantity with microgames by focusing on gameplay, customized for each - henceforth playable - character in order to provide different ways to play, yet in teams. The Switch's technological functions are therefore limited to the detachable controllers, a not so audacious approach for the franchise, contrary to the choice of such heterogeneous protagonists, reflecting the decidedly varied modes. Whether innovative or harebrained, this convivial evolution surely follows Wario's philosophy as a gambler.- Gameblog.fr

The Crew Motorfest is a true evolution. The game improves the basics of the previous games while drastically improving their weak points: graphics and sound finally worthy of current standards despite some small bumps. The gameplay and arcade physics of the totally reworked and pleasant vehicles both at the controller and at the wheel, an original system of playlists and generous and varied general content.- Gameblog.fr

FIFA Street's Fifty-Fifty. On one hand, its animations and sound are convincing, but the street soccer sim draws upsides and downsides from FIFA 12's engine, that is less convenient for the numerous contacts of this urban sport. It's not that pretty, but still a good first step for a good series.- Gameblog.fr

WWE'13 feels old, like a soon-to-be-retired wrestler with busted knees and overused vertebrae that would be hard to let go. Yes it's kind of old looking, but there's so much content there, and history, that it's hard to miss when you're a fan.- Gameblog.fr

This second episode was worth the wait. Maxine's adventure becomes more and more interesting and quite difficult to be left. Technical issues are almost forgotten as we progress in this lovely world full of great characters and capable of surprising us with its scenario and game system. It's already too hard to wait for the next episode.- Gameblog.fr

Red Orchestra's back with an even more polished gameplay, a new graphical engine, some added mechanics, and, indeed, tanks. The realism of the first one is back yet again, even though some slight modifications may throw off some of the gamers used to the original. But this mix of atmosphere and demanding gameplay, both as an individual FPS gamer and a team player, is what makes RO2 unique. It still lacks a little polish, though, but a patch should take care of this.- Gameblog.fr

With fantastic production values, and epic combat, Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Storm 2 is a fan dream. Nonetheless, the first part of the game remains tedious, because of some less than inspired game mechanics, that finally disappear later on in favor of the core ones. The game then becomes clearly epic and inspired, the story is magnified, and if you're looking for killer Rasengan or epix Chidori moves, it's the game you want.- Gameblog.fr

Chorus is a worthy Space Shooter, with very enjoyable gameplay, even if gets repetitive at some point. The real let down is the story which is quite boring, and told through weird means, like the inaudible thaughts of Nara. But there is a demo available, so try it before you buy it.- Gameblog.fr

Aliens: Infestation is a nice little game that can really appeal to the lovers of the alien saga, thanks to its nice production, neat atmosphere and Metroid-like gameplay. It still rather short and repetitive, with a little lack of ambition.- Gameblog.fr
