Sadly, there are a lot better FPS and tactical-RPG games out there for the Xbox; far too many to recommend Brink to anyone unless they have already played all the rest. If you're curious give it a rental but avoid a purchase until it drops to $29. Maybe, by then, they'll have patched the remaining bugs.- Game Chronicles

I love a good action-RPG but sadly, Dungeon Hunter: Alliance is my least favorite launch games for the Vita, and has only held my attention for as long as it has because I never played the PS3 version. And if you really must play this game then by all means get the PS3 version. You'll save more than $25 plus you might actually get to read the text on the larger screen. There are a lot better games you can be playing on your Vita, even if they aren't action-RPG.- Game Chronicles

I really enjoyed Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, which just made it that much more disappointing when it was over before it ever got started. Usually three hours into a game and I am just starting to get the hang of it, but in this case I was looking for something else to play next.- Game Chronicles

If you’ve been wondering if Two Worlds is worth picking up, the answer is no. Sure, the screen shots and gameplay elements make it attractive on the outside, but once installed, the game loses all appeal.- Game Chronicles

But for whatever reason, the game just feels a tad rushed, and while enjoyable at times, there was just too much frustration and repetition to make this more than a rental, at least until it hits the bargain bins.- Game Chronicles

The cutscenes are shockingly brutal, the language is shockingly harsh, and the gameplay is shockingly bad.- Game Chronicles

The decision to create so much gameplay outside the car could have reinvented the series, but instead, it merely bogs it down with clumsy and frustrating gameplay. The poor save and checkpoint system will have you playing and replaying portions of the game to the point of insanity.- Game Chronicles

Top Spin admittedly fills a much-needed gap in the tennis genre, but if this is the best the sport has to offer it’s time to find a new sport, or at least a new system to play it on.- Game Chronicles

It’s a great idea which sounds like a lot of fun, but falls short when it comes to fruition. I'd love to see Hot-B and Taito try this again, while paying closer attention to gameplay, controls, and streamlining the create-a-character in such a way that makes it much more accessible.- Game Chronicles

There just isn’t all that much substance and certainly no flash with Namco’s latest retro invasion on the DS.- Game Chronicles

Obviously, MGM and the McQueen family gave their approval, but whether you enjoy it will depend on your love of the genre and your tolerance for mediocrity.- Game Chronicles

Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games isn't a horrible game, but there is enough questionable content that I cannot recommend a full-price purchase unless you really like a weird take on popular Olympic events.- Game Chronicles

The biggest problem I had with Hot Wheels: Beat That! is that I was going into playing it thinking it was just a pure racing game with cool weapons to help you get ahead in the race. I hated to have to think about the various objectives I needed to complete to get more tires so I could unlock more levels and new cars.- Game Chronicles

In the end though, this game feels like a throwback, or an experiment gone wrong. Die-hard ATL fans should rent this first.- Game Chronicles

At the end of the day you will come for the single-player game and stay for the multiplayer modes. If the multiplayer modes don’t interest you then you will want to rent or simply skip this title.- Game Chronicles

If you're a diehard fan of Lord of the Rings and just have to have everything then War in the North will tide you over nicely till The Hobbit finally hits theatres. For anyone else, it's a competent rendition of an action RPG and worth the look if you're done with Skyrim, but I wouldn't go out of my way to play this.- Game Chronicles

Critical Hour, despite being the latest game in the series, takes several severe steps backwards in both graphics and audio technology, and the unpredictable enemy AI and target assist put this game more in the action genre than the tactical one.- Game Chronicles

The bundle MSRP of $50 is surprisingly cheap in my opinion, but still not chump change. I mean, spending $50 on something you don’t particularly care for is a bummer, but spending $50 on something you don’t care for and having a bulky dance mat left over taking up precious space is even worse.- Game Chronicles

Attempts to make several bold steps forward in both gameplay and immersive story design. While it nails the story aspects perfectly there is still just a bit too much of the old Tomb Raider showing through the seams.- Game Chronicles

As an attractively illustrated adventure game with very mild difficulty levels, Nancy Drew: The Deadly Secret of Olde World Park probably isn’t a bad choice for younger gamers or fans of Nancy Drew who might enjoy it as a short, interactive comic book. If you’re looking for something like the PC Nancy Drew games on the DS, though, this title is probably not for you.- Game Chronicles

This game does a good job at one thing though, it makes me want to go watch the real series, so I’d say save your money and go by those on DVD rather than this, but there are worse ways to waste money.- Game Chronicles

Zen Pinball 3D is a tough game to recommend. For $7 you're going to get four tables that most franchise fans already own and have played to death. It would have been nice to have at least one 3DS-exclusive table to sweeten the pot, and I'm guessing that with dozens of other existing console tables ready to be ported there is no incentive to make anything original for the handheld at this time.- Game Chronicles

Granted, Battleground is intended to be played online, but more often than not the online lobbies are empty. This lack of popularity all-but signs the death warrant for an online-heavy game like Battlegrounds - as a significant portion of the game's longevity is thrown out the window when there is nobody to play it with. In closing, while Red Faction: Battlegrounds is certainly a serviceable spiritual successor to the classic Atari game Combat, it really has little to offer for veteran gamers looking for more than an arena-based blast fest.- Game Chronicles

Body and Brain Connection might just test your self-esteem more than your brain. Playing alone was okay but playing in a party environment was just so much more fun when everybody could laugh and make fun of the person who was getting "roasted" by the professor. It's probably more stressful than educational, and with only 20 games and three difficulty levels you probably won't play long enough to make any real self-improvement. I'll stick with my DS brain exercises for the time being.- Game Chronicles
