Despite the disappointing graphics and the frustrating gameplay I have to admit I still had some fun with Hunted: The Demon's Forge, both playing alone and cooperatively. The splitscreen sucks but I guess those without Internet still deserve their chance to play with a friend, and at least you only need one copy of the game. Considering we don't have any Army of Two or Kane and Lynch titles coming out this year, Hunted may be your only alternative for true two-player co-op gameplay. If you can get past the design issues there is a good time to be had, but I'd still probably rent or at least wait for the price to drop.

There is very little story present and no emotional attachment to the lead character. All of the “fun” aspects of the NOLF legacy are gone.

For fans of Dynasty Warriors, you’ll be in heaven, but if you are looking for tactics, strategy, story, or even a game that makes sense, you’ll probably want to look somewhere else.

Genesis Rising makes a small leap forward in terms of an interesting tech system based on genetics, but then takes two huge leaps back in terms of playability and user experience.

SimCity Societies isn’t really a SimCity game, but it can be entertaining nonetheless, provided that it gets patched up in the near future so that it doesn’t crash every few minutes.

A marked improvement over the original game, at least in features and level design, but ultimately there have been just too many other games in the same or similar genre that edges this one out in overall quality.

If you liked the movie and have a high tolerance for missed potential and repetitive, button-mashing gameplay, give Transformers: The Game a shot.

Presents a solid, yet no-frills, racing experience that would have wowed audiences a year or two ago. In 2005, however, it will surely give games a few days of fun – but not much more.

There's no denying that similar games like Super Smash Bros. are far superior to it, but if you absolutely love this cartoon, then check it out.

Obviously, your choices for RPG’s on the DS aren’t overwhelming, so if you can’t wait for something better to come along, give this a shot. It’s not terrible, but one can only imagine how good this could have been.

Luxor: The Wrath of Set isn’t a bad game, but it just seems a bit thrown together. You can just as easily play this game or dozens like it on countless other formats, even your cell phone or PDA.

Adrenaline Misfits is a good idea and even a good game to some degree, but it suffers from too much style and too little substance.

This is budget gaming at best, and even diehard TRON fans need to wait for this thing to drop to half-price or lower.

The potential is here – the game just needs to cook for a few more hours before it’s ready for consumption.

I thought this game was really fun in the arcade. I didn’t realize how much the controller was part of the experience back then.

The game definitely has its moments, but you'll have to play a lot longer than you probably want to if you want to experience half of them.

If you're hard up for an action-shooter then you might want to check this out when it hits the $20 bargain bin, but otherwise I'd have to recommend you skip this latest installment in the Jack Slate saga.

I won't lie; I had a lot of fun with this game for the few days I played it, but with its limitation on players and its limited content it's hard to see this as a retail product.

I love adventure games and I enjoy survival games, especially survival horror, but the only thing horrific about Lost in Blue 2 is how much time it takes the game to even start to become fun, and then how quickly it can all end.

The production values are all in place and a game couldn’t ask for better sounds or graphics, but in this case they are wasted on a simple exploration game with occasional and simplistic combat.

Just when I thought the movie-license curse was starting to lift, The Da Vinci Code reminds us that it takes great gameplay to make a great game – not a lot of media hype and overrated source material.

It’s ironic that a game staring Shrek – one of the most popular computer animated characters ever created – is a complete clunker on the home computer. Pretend this title is one of Shrek’s fart attacks and give it a wide berth.

Ultimately, Ninja Gaiden fans will be the ones who will come away feeling the most betrayed. Team Ninja really butchered this installment in their attempts to make it more assessable to casual action gamers and newcomers to the series.

Scarygirl has a great visual design that blends the creepiness of Coraline with the charm of Tim Schafer's Pyschonauts and quite often achieves that living storybook charm. I loved the use of the narrator for the opening movie and to preface each chapter, and the music and sound effects fit the game flawlessly. Sadly, the game flops in the gameplay department with buggy combat and glitchy platform jumping sections where one misstep will send you back to a poorly placed checkpoint to do it all over and over again. Repetition to the point of frustration is not fun and not good gameplay. It might have been back in the early 90's, and if you are comfortable with that old-school nostalgia then Scarygirl might be for you.

Bodycount is fun enough but seems to come off more as a late summer diversion; something to keep you busy until a "real FPS" game arrives. It has its moments, along with an awkward control scheme and a glitched grenade system, but Bodycount sadly ends up being just another disposable FPS, released at the wrong time, and destined for the budget bin.

While I ultimately had fun with Golf: Tee It Up! it just seemed that it required too much effort to enjoy.
