It is not all that bad a game overall. But the simple fact that it carries the full purchase price compels us to judge it against other full-priced titles, and it that case it just doesn’t make the cut.- Game Chronicles

The thought of the possible controls had me very excited. Although I am not a fan of Dragon Ball Z, and never have been, the Wii’s controls could have turned this game into an instant classic for anyone.- Game Chronicles

At its core, Victorious Boxers: Revolution is only a minor improvement over the physical gameplay of Wii Sports Boxing. It offers some advanced features and strategies as well as a full complement of boxers and venues, but it lacks the polish of a AAA title like Fight Night.- Game Chronicles

For the low price of $10 though I can look past the issues with Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 and play it even as is just for the pure bloody fun it was. If you want to relive your childhood then this is one of the arcade packs I suggest you buy before any other because let's face, everyone wanted to be Liu kang or Sub-Zero at one point or another, and this is as close as you're going to get. Not counting the brand new versions with HD graphics and killer X-Ray moves.- Game Chronicles

Frenzied, frustrating and infuriating – but it is also addicting as hell. And while it might not be worth the full asking price of $10, it is a decent port of a solid fighting game from days gone by.- Game Chronicles

Combined with the already short length, Snicket on the PC is an "unfortunate event" that you can probably pass on in favor of one of the console versions. Even the GBA game is better than this.- Game Chronicles

Part of me wants to recommend Soltrio Solitaire because it does offer 16 unique variations of the popular game, makes an attempt at online play, and comes with 200 built-in Achievement Points. But the shoddy controls, irritating music, and dull gameplay are sure to turn off a majority of seasoned gamers.- Game Chronicles

And with no incentives to replay, minimal tracks to master, and simple gameplay that is made difficult with faulty controls, Sonic Riders is best left to the kids and our blue hedgehog needs to return to his tennis shoe roots.- Game Chronicles

Well Timmy, after going with you through the course of the game, I saw many things. I saw graphics that just weren’t that great. Voice acting that, while somewhat funny, oftentimes felt forced or the acting was uneven. I saw stages that changed the gameplay too little from level to level.- Game Chronicles

The combination of puzzle-solving and strategy works well, but there simply are not enough episodes and environmental variations to keep the player engaged for more than 5 hours at the maximum.- Game Chronicles

BlackSite: Area 51 isn’t a terrible game. It’s not even a bad game. It’s just not that memorable in what has become an overabundance of FPS titles available on the Xbox 360.- Game Chronicles

Battle of the Bands has a fantastic concept that is lost in some overly simplistic gameplay that just fails to grab the gamer and keep them interested for any length of time.- Game Chronicles

Despite its short length and overall lack of interactivity, Asura's Wrath is quite a spectacle; one that all anime lovers need to experience at least once, but for now you can get that done with a one-day rental. Everyone else can wait for a huge price slash or just go watch some of the great anime they are adding to Netflix each new week.- Game Chronicles

There isn’t much of a game here, merely a set of choices, where by trial and error you eventually reach the end and win. The same concept has survived for nearly 20 years in a little game called "Dragon’s Lair," and it works just as well with the text-only Sprung. As long as you know what to expect you shouldn’t be disappointed.- Game Chronicles

At its core, RocketBowl is a unique and potentially delightful mini-game. Unfortunately, much like the balls and lanes at a cheap alley, the end result could use more polish.- Game Chronicles

The fetch-questing gets old fast, but the game ties in closely with the film in graphics, sound, and atmosphere. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is tailor-made for a younger group, and keeping that in mind, the game does what it's set out to do.- Game Chronicles

If you are looking for something to keep you going until Diablo III or Skyrim arrives then Dungeon Siege III might be the RPG filler you are looking for this summer. Personally, I found it an insult to the Dungeon Siege name, lacking any semblance to the previous games in the franchise. Perhaps if they had changed the name they could have avoided comparisons and disappointment, but alas, this is what we got and if you're like me, you probably won't like it.- Game Chronicles

A totally uninspired game with shoddy graphics, weak sound, clumsy controls, and only enough content to make this worth a weekend rental or perhaps a budget purchase when the title makes it to the Platinum Hits.- Game Chronicles

The biggest thing lacking though is structure. There are no tournaments or event series for you to compete in. Every race is a single race and it just gets so boring to the casual race fan. All of these annoying gameplay issues plus the horrible so-called HD graphics really makes it hard for me to recommend this game to any but the most faithful fans of the franchise. There are brief moments of fun, but with all the other racing games out there you might want to look at one of those before buying or even renting this one.- Game Chronicles

Note to Japanese game designers – when you kill somebody they had better stay dead unless you give me a real good reason why they keep coming back. Clones, holograms, “beaming” in from remote barracks, anything!- Game Chronicles

Yar's revenge was made for the avid rail shooter but at the price of 10$ It doesn't justify the length of the game at only six levels and the fact that it was a direct port in with no changes to the menu from the Xbox version. I do recommend before you buy this game you keep in mind this game has nothing to do with the 1980s version other than the name so even for nostalgia's sake I would think twice.- Game Chronicles

It’s really not that I did not like the game; it’s just that there was nothing to it that really made it stand out to me. Nothing that made it unique from all the other fantasy-based MMO’s out there, nothing that made me want to play it any more than any other.- Game Chronicles
