Pelit (Finland)A bit too dark (as in "no light"), linear and uninventive. It is also strangely entertaining. [Mar. 05]
-
Once you get a few levels into the game, you start to see the purpose and role of each weapon, and Constantine encourages you to think strategically about how to take down enemies.
-
Falls into the usual pitfalls of not immersing the player in enough to make playing the game worthwhile. This is a rental at best.
-
PSM MagazineReplay value is low; better rent before you buy. [May 2005, p.76]
-
TotalGames.netThe problem here is simple laziness. Constantine is a dull, monotonous shooter with few redeeming features, do yourself a favour and buy some of the superb graphic novels instead.
-
It’s a shame though that the game only lasts for about 4-5 hours though, as Constantine could have been a good 3rd person shooter adventure if done properly.
-
The enemies you fight are the definition of repetitive. They are the same type of demon you see in the movie except in seven or eight very subtle variations.

Aug 12, 2022The game didn't make me as excited as the movie itself. The gameplay wasn't bad, but the graphics left something to complain about.
