Card battling games have a very distinct target audience, and as so games like Marvel Trading Card Game will not appeal to everyone. But for those gamers who have been raised on Pokemon and Magic, Marvel Trading Card Game will fit right in to their collection.

This is the single best console poker game I have ever played.

Using objects in the environment to give enemies a beating is always kick-ass, and each character has their own abilities that are, at the very least, solid and enjoyable.

Whether you like the feel of strategic buildup and planning for the big war or as tactician in battles Pacific Storm has enough variety that it sets itself apart from previous strategy games.

In closing, I really wish Namco would simply come up with one comprehensive disc that contains all of the classic games and put these yearly Namco Museum releases to rest. Instead they keep dishing out these cookie cutter compilations with only a modicum of changes and expect fans to bite. I, for one, have had enough. But I still love Namco's games.

A competent rehash of the Bejeweled formula, 7 Wonders of the Ancient World delivers a classic puzzle experience, but it doesn’t stray from the beaten path.

I realize that I am painting a fairly bad picture of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, and I admit that it is hard to be objective when I have already had the pleasure to play the title on both the Xbox 360 and the PS3. Comparing across the platforms is hardly fair when the Wii's processing power is so limited that it forces developers to make significant modifications to the gameplay. But even considering that, Modern Warfare 3 is merely an average shooter compared to the other FPS titles on the Wii.

One suggestion, to make this feature better, is to use Push Notifications to tell you if someone beats your score or challenges you in real time.

We like to feel secure in our hard work, and losing progress we have made is a major turn off, especially if we can’t point the blame to anyone other than ourselves for the screw up.

Even when it hits the $20 bargain bins it's still going to be a bad game. I can't stress enough that if you have a PC remotely capable of playing Mafia then please get the PC version.

At $40 MSRP, I would have to recommend most hardcore gamers to pass on Michael Jackson: The Experience. It is a great novelty to bring out at parties, but otherwise it is a shallow game that does not do much to keep gamers wanting for more.

Believe me, with two young Spider-Man fanatics in the house, nothing would please me more than to announce that Spider-Man: Edge of Time is the Arkham Asylum (now Arkham City) that all Spidey fans have been waiting for. That it is not – but it does show signs of life in terms of the scripting and storyline presentation.

Spider-Man: Edge of Time is a game with a lot of promise, but the execution frequently falls short of expectations.

A pretty good game, with a great gimmick – the whole rebirth of the FMV thing, finally being used in an entertaining manner, is great. It could have used a bit more polish, and maybe a couple more sets of trivia.

WALL-E on the Nintendo DS would be a fine game to rent but you may want to think it over before purchasing, you would really have to love either WALL-E or repetitive puzzle solving to own it.

If you look closely you’ll find a very fun, challenging, easy to pick up and play shooter that will entertain you for hours when you want to take a break from all the great current generation titles.

While the vehicular levels definitely showcase continued improvement for the franchise, the on foot levels just aren’t executed as well as they should have been.

One thing that I did find on the game that really annoyed me was a save point that would always freeze up my game as it was saving.

A fun, playable and respectable effort at capturing the feel of World War II combat, but its magnificent cutscenes and (initially) superb soundtrack end up promising an experience that the blocky graphics, uninspired landscapes and poor sound effects can’t make good on.

While Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked is definitely a functional game, it is really difficult to recommend among the constant flow of top-shelf (and often bargain priced) dancing titles coming out for the Kinect.

So if you’re a Harry Potter fan you’ll like this game and understand why everything had to be the way the way it is, but unfortunately, the game can become tedious and boring because action is few and far between.

Asphalt Injection is admittedly a fun and competent racer that delivers a surprising amount of licensed vehicles, interesting locations, and arcade-style racing perfect for the casual crowd but one that struggles to challenge veteran racers. Sadly, the Vita doesn't bring anything new to the franchise or the genre; at least nothing worth spending $30 more than the same game on the iPad. Still, if you need a racing fix for your new PS Vita, and those cutesy karts and characters in ModNation Racers aren't for you, Asphalt Injection isn't a bad diversion and will certainly fill that gap until Ridge Racer finally arrives.

Over the Hedge is far from an impressive game, especially given its ancestry and other current versions. It is apparent that amongst the handhelds, most of the attention was given to the DS version of the game, and the GBA version was simply a cookie-cutter rehash of last year's Operation Penguin from the Madagascar camp.

A lack of imagination in terms of game mechanics doomed it to the rental bin and not the permanent collection.

Trollz gameplay was probably some of the least insulting that I have found in this whole kids show/video game crossover genre. I only wish there were more than five mini-games, and maybe a bit less story.

The gameplay and value are pretty decent but could have been much better with a little effort.

Shaun White Snowboarding is a pretty decent game and gives enough of a challenge for beginners to find it fun and exciting but may be a bit too easy for anyone looking for a greater challenge.

In summary, while I love the PSP Camera, EyePet is simply not the best implementation of the technology. Gamers who want to see the technology implemented in a manner that is actually enjoyable would be better off checking out inviZimals.

The Legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon is a fairly decent DS platformer and action game, but because of its linear and somewhat shallow design, as well as a number of minor flaws, it doesn’t quite make it past that.

The tactile mini-games were inspired, but the actual platforming elements were simply average. The graphics were decent, the extras largely boring and the difficulty a little easy.

I enjoyed Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3: Defiance on the DS though there are a few things that bring it down. The graphics are still rough and they totally missed an opportunity to use the now affordable 3DS's power.

For the fan of cute sandbox simulations, this game will provide hours of enjoyment. If you’re simply interested in playing mini-games, landscaping, or interior decorating, I’d say you’re better off looking elsewhere.

I don’t feel this game is the best Rockstar has to offer.

Diner Dash is a pretty addictive game and stands as one of those easy to pick and play games for fun. If you want a simple to play game that only requires reflexes and little thinking Diner Dash: Sizzle & Serve may just be for you.

Black Hawk Down’s main problem is that it purports to offer the experience of being the leader of Delta Force operatives in war torn Somalia. But hamstrung game play with shoddy graphics doesn’t cut it.

It’s predictable, clichéd, and a bit lackluster in many ways, but it’s not flat out bad.

All in all, EyePet & Friends is an impressive piece of technology that is a definite improvement over the previous releases. It still needs quite a bit of work when it comes to presentation, as the blurry backgrounds and visual lag do not help in delivering a believable experience.

It's gameplay and graphics are good but it does not stand out in any major way.

In the end, Off-Road Drive could have been a really enjoyable title for me. I'm always up for a challenge but unfortunately neither a keyboard nor gamepad could help me through the frustrating gameplay.

If you are someone like me, who takes baseball really seriously and follows their favorite team closer than anyone else you know, then I would strongly recommend this game.

To each their own of course, but this game's developers probably could have put a bit more effort into Gallop Racer 2006 in order to make it more accessible for people who are curious, or just think the idea of a racing game with horses is cool. As someone who feels just like that, I can respect what Gallop Racer 2006 is about, but I'm a little disappointed too.

But this latest version of the game suffers from the same problems pretty much since the beginning. What was once tolerable due to technology constraints simply doesn't cut it in the era of "Snake Eater" and "Chaos Theory."

The bottom line is Dead To Rights II tries to make like a summer action blockbuster, but ends up more like that large tub of movie popcorn; too expensive, too short-lived, and ultimately unfulfilling.

It has a very simplistic strategic level that amounts to rolling craps when deciding who and where to attack.

But why try the rest when you already have the best? Just Cause is competently done, but it fails to put anything truly new on the table, making San Esperito a nice place to visit, but not to live.

I’m not being offered anything new but I’m being asked to buy it anyway, largely because the material has been repackaged There are highlights, of course, but they’re framed by mediocre efforts that turn out to be better in hindsight.

Compared to the likes of NBA Street or the highly underrated Street Hoops, NBA Ballers: Chosen One seems sluggish and contrived.

The game offers top-notch kid-friendly presentation and a solid selection of kid-level mini-games. And if it were not for the fact that Cosmic Family just does not offer the degree of depth or longevity of similarly priced grade-A titles, it would be a sure recommendation.

I suppose PaRappa might find a niche fan base on the PSP, but most of us will be seeking our musical entertainment elsewhere.

It's one of those games that parents will buy for their kids and end up playing it themselves.

If you try to play the game through in continuous sittings you are going to get bored real fast. Despite the RPG elements and the various combat modes, the endless combat just wears you down.

Out of the box Dead Man’s Hand is a huge disappointment and a classic example of a great idea marred by poor or just sloppy game design.

Sadly, that is the game's only strength, so if you aren't going to be playing with Move then you're better off with the more feature-rich and entertaining Tiger Woods.

But the betting system wasn’t integrated tightly enough so it is just as easily forgotten, and when you factor in the clunky fight engine and predictable combo system, the game loses much of its appeal.

I can say without hesitation that there is no other game like this on the PSP and there probably won’t be another for quite some time.

It also pales in comparison to the competition. It’s a bit shallow on content and the gameplay is highly unbalanced.

NASCAR 2011 isn't bad for Eutechnyx's first effort. It's not horrible, it's not great, it's merely okay. But NASCAR should be a great video game. Past games on console and PC certainly provide enough guidance as to what does and doesn't work. Maybe my expectations were too high. The one revelation I found in NASCAR 2011 is I will never be able to race at Bristol. It's too much like driving in Chicago traffic.

You have a potentially scary story set in the isolation of space, but the aliens cease to become scary long before the story concludes. Everything becomes predictable and downright boring near the end, as the game spirals into mediocrity.

The characters in the game are pretty stereotypical, and the plot and story is certainly not up to the standards of story-oriented RPGs like "Final Fantasy X." The characters seem flat and uninteresting to me, and the story didn't really get me emotionally attached to them.

A decent online poker game.

Given the choice between either Crash or Spyro, you should probably know that Spyro is targeted for younger gamers while Crash is a bit more difficult and aimed for experience players, thus giving you the most and more challenging gameplay experience.

In all fairness, this game simply doesn’t measure up to the competition or even the expected level of improvement you should get with a new installment within an established series.

Fans of the Resident Evil franchise may enjoy this next-gen look at an earlier classic, but as a serious shooter and tactical gamer, a spooky atmosphere doesn't make up for shallow and repetitive combat mechanics and glitched controls. Not to mention most of your fun relies on the participation of two or three other people. Give it a rental or wait for the inevitable price drop.

It's cool to see how the character models and graphics have changed through the years, and makes the entire series feel less like a movie game cash-in, and more like a separate journey for Harry that went alongside the films and books. It was touching in an odd way and a nice farewell to the game franchise. After all is said and done though, I'm still glad to see it end. It's still a way to sell a video game with Daniel Radcliffe on the cover, and unfortunately no touching montage is going to change that.

Clive Barker’s Jericho will likely appeal to a certain group of gamers just from the implied pedigree, but the truth is that the uninspired gameplay, linear levels, horrid AI, and merely average presentation values keep this game from ever gripping you like any of Clive’s movies.

Unless the GBA is your only system I'd recommend fighting crime on the big consoles and leave this version to the really young kids or those doomed to play games on the commute to school or work. The Incredibles is fun but not that fun and certainly not as good as the movie that inspired it.

If you have played RPG's in the past then you will know exactly what to expect out of this game. The game will not captivate you like some RPG's.

The game is virtually unplayable using any of the vision modes and without them you are doomed to play the game in total darkness or not at all.

This is a great, inexpensive game if you’re a fan, but it won’t hold much lasting appeal to most people for very long. Personally I need to have many drinks in me to enjoy playing Tapper for more than 10 minutes at a time. Not root beer, but real beer.

The player is barely involved in the game at all, which effectively makes it little more than a snazzy light show.

It’s just a bit cheesier than most modern games of its genre, but if you have a sense of humor and find this sitting in the bargain bin, you could certainly do worse.

As a turn based battle game however, it’s not very good. You are given a small amount of creatures, a single strategy that will win almost every time, and lackadaisical enemy AI.

The PC version is definitely preferred over the console versions with better graphics, shorter load times, and a $10 savings off the retail price. Play with a controller and you'll be playing the 360 version that all Xbox owners wish they could be playing.

The game definitely has its moments, but you’ll have to play a lot longer than you probably want to if you want to experience half of them.

I just think the game fails at some very small but critical facets, and as a result the game has lost some of the charm it could have had.

The fun is there, but the general unkempt nature of many parts of the game drown the fun factor with a huge anchor. If you can look past the word acting, basic premise, finicky camera, and questionable gameplay mechanics, you can find a deep, involving action game.

Marvel Trading Card Game is worth a look if your interested in this type of strategy turn based game. Konami has done a very good job adding this game to the PSP handheld system.

Might make a decent rental or budget purchase for the kids, but most of us will have more fun digging out the original arcade classic and playing those challenging levels without all the clumsy “improvements”.

Most people will probably wade through the list of career races and challenges but only the most dedicated (or bored) gamers will ever have the desire to fully explore this enormous game world to unlock the secrets it contains.

Obviously, if you own any of the similar titles mentioned earlier in the review you can pretty much pass this one up, as there is really nothing here that you have not seen. Then again, if you are one of the few newbies to the match-3 gameplay, or better yet a true fiend of the games who just can't get enough – well, 7 Wonders II certainly delivers the exciting gameplay that comes from this genre, and the price is right.

Rubik’s World is a fun puzzle game starring the cubie, those smaller parts of the whole Rubik’s cube, and is worth taking a crack at.

WALL-E on the PlayStation 3 is about the best out of the three versions I reviewed and may be worth buying. If you want a decent game that has the sections of multiplayer that younger ones can easily have fun with and a few hours of WALL-E trash gathering or EVE flying this is worth it.

Yes there are a lot of features that really make this game fun and interesting but there are a lot of other racing games that will hold your interest longer and are more entertaining.

The game is just as dated as the show and it fares just as well with its console competition as the original series would if it debuted on prime time next week.

I’m not sure if it’s translation issues or what, but this franchise needs a much more compelling story if they want me to invest a huge portion of my already-limited portable gaming time on a game of this magnitude.

There is little doubt in my mind that Sega could create a great MMO one day, but truth is, they need a make a fresh start and take the concept in a new direction, take it back to the drawing board.

Sure it wasn't perfect but at least it was fun and playable and easy on the eyes. I have to admit I did miss playing as Neo, which only makes it that much more painful to be the bearer of bad news.

Speaking, dancing, and, um, *intimate relations* are all pretty well animated and humorous in a cartoony way.

Perhaps I am just spoiled by the unpredictable plots on ABC’s, Lost, but I found no compelling reason to really finish this game.

It is not all that bad a game overall. But the simple fact that it carries the full purchase price compels us to judge it against other full-priced titles, and it that case it just doesn’t make the cut.

The thought of the possible controls had me very excited. Although I am not a fan of Dragon Ball Z, and never have been, the Wii’s controls could have turned this game into an instant classic for anyone.

At its core, Victorious Boxers: Revolution is only a minor improvement over the physical gameplay of Wii Sports Boxing. It offers some advanced features and strategies as well as a full complement of boxers and venues, but it lacks the polish of a AAA title like Fight Night.

For the low price of $10 though I can look past the issues with Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 and play it even as is just for the pure bloody fun it was. If you want to relive your childhood then this is one of the arcade packs I suggest you buy before any other because let's face, everyone wanted to be Liu kang or Sub-Zero at one point or another, and this is as close as you're going to get. Not counting the brand new versions with HD graphics and killer X-Ray moves.

Frenzied, frustrating and infuriating – but it is also addicting as hell. And while it might not be worth the full asking price of $10, it is a decent port of a solid fighting game from days gone by.

Combined with the already short length, Snicket on the PC is an "unfortunate event" that you can probably pass on in favor of one of the console versions. Even the GBA game is better than this.

Part of me wants to recommend Soltrio Solitaire because it does offer 16 unique variations of the popular game, makes an attempt at online play, and comes with 200 built-in Achievement Points. But the shoddy controls, irritating music, and dull gameplay are sure to turn off a majority of seasoned gamers.

And with no incentives to replay, minimal tracks to master, and simple gameplay that is made difficult with faulty controls, Sonic Riders is best left to the kids and our blue hedgehog needs to return to his tennis shoe roots.

Well Timmy, after going with you through the course of the game, I saw many things. I saw graphics that just weren’t that great. Voice acting that, while somewhat funny, oftentimes felt forced or the acting was uneven. I saw stages that changed the gameplay too little from level to level.
