    Not being a fan of this genre, I found myself engaged in reliving some fond memories of heroes and villains I nearly forgot about.

    Those looking at this game as a way to jump into the trading card genre, or just looking for a new way to make their’s Marvel, will be better suited with heading down to the Game Shop and entering the tutelage of the resident ten year old experts.

    The problem with Marvel Trading Card Game isn’t the gameplay. Once you’ve figured everything out, it does a decent job mimicking the real thing. But it requires a lot of patience to get comfortable with the game and you’ll be fighting the interface every step of the way.

The only major flaw is the terrible tutorial and steep learning curve. if you either love CCG games or the Marvel Universe this is practically a must-buy, others should bump this down to a 6 or 7.… Expand

It was mistake to make it exclusively touch screen, to not include drag and drop card placements and the play area is too cramped thanks to the decision to make it played on its side. I wanted to love this, instead play it seems like work. Shame really. Perhaps a DC version (should it ever come) can rectify things.… Expand

    Great example of how-not-to-design a videogame. Instead of adapting a card game to take advantage of a console they tried to replicate the Great example of how-not-to-design a videogame. Instead of adapting a card game to take advantage of a console they tried to replicate the physical card play experience on a console. (Turn cards sideways on the screen to exhaust them? Really?!) Solitaire on Windows did a better job of adapting play mechanics. Stay away.… Expand
