Jan 13, 2011The Holy Grail of true 1-to-1 motion finally arrives, and there remain cries for Wii Golf physics.
-
Playstation: The Official Magazine (US)Oct 28, 2010The Move controls work well, but the drab presentation and an enthusiast-centric seriousness lands the play experience in the bunker. [Dec 2010, p.85]

Feb 28, 2011This game has to compete with the Tiger Woods franchise from Electronic Arts. The Tiger Woods games are obviously a lot better, but this game also has its own charms. There are a few nice elements in this game but there are also a few points that could have been a lot better.

Gusto Games got some things right here, but there is still a whole lot of room to improve. Worth a look if you're an avid golfer (and PlayStation Move owner), but I recommend a rental first.

Games Master UKDec 25, 2010In short: nice trousers, crap game. [Issue#231, p.97]

Dec 21, 2010John Daly's Prostroke Golf works as an example of the PlayStation Move, but ultimately fails in every other aspect. The core gameplay is good, but overall isn't enough to sell a package that is put up against other far more successful golf franchises.

Jan 6, 2011The actual golfing mechanic is spot on and very impressive, but there isn't a lot to actually do. The landscapes are hopelessly dry and uninspired, and the soundtrack doesn't consist of much else than Daly's three power sentences that follow every shot. It works as a technical demonstration of what Move can do, but not much else. If you're looking for a good golf game, look somewhere else.
