It's certainly absurdly fun and features a fantastic soundtrack but its rather short lifespan, maladjusted difficulty level and unhelpful roguelike elements mean that Coffee Crisis ends up creating expectations which it doesn't manage to live up to.- FNintendo

Bow to Blood: Last Captain Standing is an interesting work that joins an action-based gameplay with roguelike components and some strategic decision-making as well for an experience that is ambitious but which does not quite fulfill itself entirely on this Nintendo Switch version.- FNintendo

Turok's remaster for the Nintendo Switch brings one of the first Nintendo 64 classics to the contemporary age and for a game that is over twenty years old, the work done here is competent and well executed and it improves on some key aspects that needed to be updated. While this does not intend to reinvent the game, this remaster can both appeal to fans of the original game and to those curious about the early days of console first-person shooters.- FNintendo

Atelier Meruru DX is the third installment of the Atelier series and can very well be considered the best of the trilogy thanks to the game's greater emphasis on the alchemy aspect of gameplay and the rich variety of characters, which help its plot become the most enjoyable of the three games.- FNintendo

Homo Machina is a game with a very fun concept and an attractive art style that will put the player working on some interesting puzzles, before its short lifespan comes into view. The way it was converted to the Nintendo Switch also made Homo Machina a peculiar game to control and which loses a lot when played on a television screen. This is a game that would benefit a lot more from a longer lifespan and improved controls.- FNintendo

It takes long to master but the rewards will be nothing short of marvelous, as magnificent worlds will open up before the players who invest their time and effort into this piece, if the repetitiveness of some moments does not put them off.- FNintendo

Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker Special Episode not only adds more content and challenges to the original game, it brings a fantastic addition to the game that makes it an absolute charm to revisit. The high quality of this DLC is also more than enough to make everyone ask why doesn't Nintendo do this more often.- FNintendo

Marble It Up! features some varied and fun gameplay mechanics, which coupled with its well polished visual environment and emphasis on improving the player's performance make this an interesting effort. Where Marble It Up! gets a bit lost is when it comes to its short content and its lack of interest for less experienced players, who will be put off by the game's pressure to repeat its levels.- FNintendo

Mechstermination Force is a fun and demanding game based entirely on boss rushes that will provide a series of tough and enjoyable moments to any players who are looking for a difficult but rewarding experience and to all those who are motivated to pursue a good challenge.- FNintendo

SteamWorld Quest is at the same time a simple and involving RPG with a fun and original cards system and well developed characters that make the whole experience more fun and compelling for the players. Its addictive and enjoyable gameplay, detailed and lovely visual environment and overall well crafted elements make SteamWorld Quest something that all RPG fans should get their hands on.- FNintendo

Yet Another Zombie Defense HD is a game that has more name than content. While its features are easy to grasp and fully functional, the game has very little to offer when it comes to content, fun and gameplay mechanics - it's repetitive, dull and shallow and brings nothing that other games of the same genre don't offer already at a bigger and better scale.- FNintendo

Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid is a 2D fighting game based on this world famous series that has been a favourite of many players in their 30s and for those looking for a simple and accessible experience, Battle of the Grid does a good job. It does less well when it comes to its visuals, as they feel like they are not using the technical capacities of the Nintendo Switch as they should. Furthermore, its DLC model where players have to buy each additional fighter will put a strain on the game's low selling price advantage.- FNintendo

The Walking Dead comes to its conclusion and the final verdict is that this is a good ending, with an overall satisfying outcome to the plot, even with its occasional ups and downs. The final season is rich in emotive moments but quick time events are still too many and some technical issues need to be solved. That however does not harm the experience and The Walking Dead's wrap up fully deserves a chance.- FNintendo

Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn is essentially a remastered version of Kirby's Epic Yarn, with a few tweaks when it comes to some new moves and the loss of the co-op component. Beyond that, the game remains the same: a very easy effort, which was mostly designed to be used as relaxation, rather than as a challenging, competitive piece of gaming and while it does a very good job at its primary goal, it might be too easy for players looking for something more compelling.- FNintendo

A first person shooter with a roguelike structure might sound unusual but RICO manages to join the two in a fun and competent way on the Nintendo Switch, resulting in a game that works wonders in short gaming sessions. Being an accessible work, RICO is also a game that will last its players a long time, thanks to its varied content, while the local and online multiplayer will further cement its qualities as an enjoyable FPS in the Nintendo Switch catalogue.- FNintendo

Cuphead on the Nintendo Switch captures everything that was exquisite and marvelous about the original game and brings is to a format where it can be enjoyed both at home and on the go. With its experience intact, this run and gun game that feels like a gorgeous interactive cartoon fits perfectly in the Nintendo Switch catalogue and is recommended to every single player out there.- FNintendo

Q.U.B.E. 2 is a puzzle game that will easily appeal to many players thanks to its captivating visuals and good execution of its puzzles. Even if its visual performance has some issues when it comes to the framerate, it's safe to say most players will feel enticed by Q.U.B.E. 2's puzzles and dedicate themselves to the game all the way to its ending.- FNintendo

My Time at Portia is without a doubt an ambitious game, with plenty of places to go and a myriad of things to do. So it only feels frustrating to see that its long loading times can harm the player's experience and its overall presence on the Nintendo Switch feels like a PC game that was copied onto a console format, especially when it comes to its controls, as this turns out to be a game which only big fans of simulations of this kind will truly enjoy.- FNintendo

BlazBlue: Central Fiction clearly packs the ambition and quality to be one of the very best fighting games on the Nintendo Switch. Embodying the classic motto "Easy to learn, difficult to master", BlazBlue: Central Fiction makes the best of its variety of game modes, gorgeous art style and involving plot to deliver an unforgettable game that all Switch owners should keep in mind.- FNintendo

Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom is a rather surprising and very enjoyable 2D platformer that openly dresses the skin of a metroidvania-style of game, with a well-structured experience, a high quality cartoon-like art style and well implemented gameplay mechanics. It does not reinvent the wheel when it comes to 2D platformers but it certainly does a very good job at delivering a quality metroidvania type of game.- FNintendo

The Raven Remastered brings back the point and click adventure genre that has been immensely popular in generations past and it does a very good job at that in this edition for the Nintendo Switch. It may not completely reinvent point and click adventures but it makes a good attempt at fixing some of its frustrating aspects and its original, entertaining and involving plot makes a big case for anyone who appreciates the genre to get their hands on this.- FNintendo

Evoland: Legendary Edition plays like a kind of a museum on JRPG, an interactive lesson on this section of the gaming world which allows players of all levels of experience to enjoy. It might not have the most fascinating plot and the execution of some mechanics could certainly be better but Evoland: Legendary Edition is certainly a game to should go into the map of RPG enthusiasts.- FNintendo

FullBlast is a 2D shoot'em up that treads along some of the traditional clichés of the genre without taking any risks to go further or to stand above its peers. Similar enemy patterns, repetitive behaviour, plain visuals, FullBlast can deliver a fluid gameplay experience but not a varied, original one, with a small redemption coming from its local multiplayer element.- FNintendo

Aragami - Shadow Edition brings the sombre-themed third person stealth action game to the Nintendo Switch in an effort that is more than likely to appeal to fans of this style of gameplay. Its dark-tinted art style with simple gameplay mechanics and well-written plot will provide more than enough reasons for players to wrap their hands and heads around this compelling game.- FNintendo

Timber Tennis: Versus is not a tennis simulator to be taken seriously, instead it's a simple game of simple mechanics and with a simple price tag, where the little fun that is on offer is quickly overtaken by the shallow gameplay and dearth of content, not to mention the absence of other players in its online component.- FNintendo

Trine 2: Complete Story is not arriving on the Nintendo Switch with a wealth of new content but how can that matter when this is such a marvelous puzzler? With its art style that still looks gorgeous as it ages, a perfectly fluid control system and gameplay, this incarnation of Trine 2 could only improve by being made into a handheld system and now that this threshold has been met, the only thing left to say is for everyone to get their hands on it.- FNintendo

Mana Spark deserves to be treated as more than "just" an indie game. Its combats and tactical RPG elements, as well as its very alluring pixel art style and tough difficulty level put it on a threshold that will make veteran players feel the right amount of challenge, while perhaps alienating some of those who are less experienced. A game that will be appreciated by all those who enjoy a good challenge.- FNintendo

Darksiders Warmastered Edition marks the return of the Darksiders series and its arrival on the Nintendo Switch after landing in other platforms. It's true that it doesn't bring anything new compared to its original version but what is here is a game that features a fun gameplay, very good boss fights and a very nice-looking art style, it just needs to fix its occasional crashing problem but for those who are not familiar with the Darksiders series, this will be a good introduction.- FNintendo

Yoshi's Crafted World continues the line that Nintendo has been treading when it comes to 2D platformers of the Yoshi series: visually stunning and with plenty of interactivity, the game also features a healthy lifespan and plenty of objects to collect. Yet another classic in this successful new incarnation of Nintendo's favourite dinosaur.- FNintendo
