Moonlighter is quite an original action game with roguelike elements and a management component which is surprisingly appealing to a wider segment of players than first thought. It also features a very swanky animation, plenty of visual details, a healthy lifespan and has the added advantage of being possible to play anywhere and anytime, which only makes this an even more attractive release.- FNintendo

Into The Breach is a challenging turn-based strategy game that features a competent gameplay and a wide variety of levels. While it could certainly use a more elaborate plot and some more weapon tutorials, it's safe to say that this rather orthodox work will appeal to fans of strategy games looking for something that follows the genre's main tenets.- FNintendo

Gal Metal is not the average music/rhythm game. It's not the average game either, it's a very unconventional work and in a good sense, as the game's unusual premise certainly required an unusual gameplay. While its lifespan is certainly the game's Achilles heel and the repertoire of songs could be bigger, Gal Metal is still something worth checking out not just for fans of rhythm games but for all those looking to try something different.- FNintendo

Cycle 28 is an extremely minimalist but nonetheless competent space-themed shoot'em up that features a solid gameplay and a plot structure that is undeniably interesting to a certain point. The game's minimalism ends up becoming excessive, however, and a bit more variety would not harm, especially since the Cycle 28 as it is runs the risk of becoming repetitive too quickly.- FNintendo

Sushi Striker: The Way of Sushido consists of a fun and amusing puzzle game based on sushi and it shows the 3DS can still get new games that are worthy of attention. While its online multiplayer is affected by lag and the game's plot is really nothing to write home about, Sushi Striker's original gameplay is a reason enough for players to get their hands on this content-full title and to watch its finely crafted cutscenes.- FNintendo

Sanrio Characters Picross brings another Picross game to the 3DS catalogue, this time based on characters designed by Sanrio. It does not change the rules of Picross and it features some ideas that could very well be part of future installments but the characters' universe is too limited, its soundtrack is not up to the game's environment and some of the most appealing elements of the game remain blocked for quite a long time.- FNintendo

With its involving plot and combat system, as well as its very healthy lifespan, this enhanced version of the sequel to the original game will not only be sought after by fans of the series but also by new players who have a chance to get their hands on a renowned name of the gaming industry for the first time.- FNintendo

Detective Gallo brings a point and click adventure to the Nintendo Switch, an unusual contribution to the system's catalogue and one which features a welcome work of voice acting and some interesting character interactions and plot. The game doesn't fully stand out, as its control system is rather problematic on the Nintendo Switch and several of its puzzles don't really make much sense. Detective Gallo is thus not a first choice option.- FNintendo

Let's Go, Pikachu! and Let's Go, Eevee! represent a different line in the Pokémon series. Reflecting a more accessible take, these two games make the experience more open to new players, while keeping several nostalgic and legacy factors intact for seasoned veterans. While not all is a resounding success, namely when it comes to its limited online component, uninteresting motion controls and an overall level of challenge that is below expectations, some of the games' new elements are more than likely to bring a fun, enjoyable time to players of all backgrounds.- FNintendo

Transistor is a marvelous piece of gaming worthy of all praises. Whether for fans of action games or turn-based combat games, this is definitely a game to invest in and where players will find themselves experimenting in many ways thanks to the game's long lifespan, with an absolutely exquisite soundtrack in the background.- FNintendo

Swap This! is an entertaining, simple and addictive puzzle game that fits the Nintendo Switch nicely enough for some short gaming sessions. It fares less well when played on a television screen and feels rather repetitive on the short-term but for what it is, Swap This! does not fail in its goal.- FNintendo

While the game is still rather short and linear, its experience is fun and enjoyable, especially as Luigi gives it a whole flair of his own personality in a much welcome addition to the Nintendo heritage. Its motion controls need some improvement but this is a welcome return of one of the few games starring Nintendo's green-capped hero.- FNintendo

Diablo III lands on the Nintendo Switch, under the name of an Eternal Collection that brings two expansions to the original game. In what is without a doubt a magnificent adaptation of a monument of a game, players will find an immense challenge that will be accessible for beginners and compelling for veterans, with content that will easily reach over one hundred hours of gameplay, a top notch multiplayer component and the added handheld character of the Nintendo Switch. One of the finest games of the year to come out on Nintendo's console.- FNintendo

This remaster of one of the most influential games of the last generation gets the basics right but fails in other important aspects. The sound quality is quite weak and it delivers a visually inferior performance compared to the other versions of the same remaster, which cannot be justified with the Nintendo Switch hardware. However, truth of the matter is that it gives Nintendo players the chance of getting their hands on this marvelous work for the first time, with the added bonus of playing it wherever they want. That alone is worthy of praise.- FNintendo

Yomawari: The Long Night Collection is a collection set of two horror games that while unrelated by their plot, feature very similar mechanisms and gameplay. And this is certainly an added value, as the two games feature a very involving environment, full of details that make them ever more appealing and will put the players at the very core of this disturbing adventure that makes the Nintendo Switch catalogue ever more attractive for horror fans.- FNintendo

Jake Hunter Detective Story: Ghost of the Dusk brings some interesting elements for fans of visual novels and murder mysteries thanks to its appealing art style and content to explore. It does not fully live up to the genre's reputation, though, as the challenge level falls short of expectations an the feeling of progression in the game's plot lacks consistency.- FNintendo

Time Carnage ultimately fails to stand out. The game is too repetitive and dull to play to become a worthy effort, and while it can still serve to fill small time gaps, Time Carnage ends up not delivering on any of its components, which makes it an overall negative experience.- FNintendo

Ninjin: Clash of Carrots brings the beat'em-up genre back to the mainstream in a comical and frantic effort that features enjoyable attack combinations and several customization choices. Ninjin fails to become a contemporary classic, however, as the game can get too repetitive and too soon and some aspects of the characters' controls need to improve.- FNintendo

Warriors Orochi 4 is ambitious and it's directed at fans of the Dynasty Warriors and Samurai Warriors series. This is where Warriors Orochi 4 stands out the most, as it gives fans an enjoyable and competent gameplay and an immense amount of content to explore. Pity for the visual disappointment, as the game is not living up to its full potential on the Nintendo Switch and it's also not very beginner-friendly, as it can put off those who do not follow the series.- FNintendo

Using personality traits instead of experience points to improve the character stands out, as does its combat injuries system. Less appealing though, are its rather repetitive nature on a short term basis, as well as its frustrating combat system and sub-par art style.- FNintendo

LEGO DC Super-Villains brings the Lego series back to a Nintendo console and it goes without saying that this is a very welcome return. Thanks to a fun and comical plot, a high number of characters to choose from and major technical progress, LEGO DC Super-Villains keeps the overall quality of the Lego series while adding to it some much needed updating and renovation.- FNintendo

Friday the 13th: Killer Puzzle is what happens when one of the world's most iconic horror movie series is given a hilarious gaming treatment. A game that's full of comedic moments which will get the players to grow fond of it immediately, this is a surprising work to be found in the Nintendo Switch eShop and which should be quickly claimed by players and fans of the series alike.- FNintendo

Child of Light is a well-crafted action RPG that boasts some marvelous visuals and an outstanding soundtrack and matches them with an interesting, albeit not very varied combat system. The game may be over four years old by now but it certainly remains an RPG that can be easily recommended, even if its plot is not as involving as it should.- FNintendo

The Inner World - The Last Wind Monk is a sequel that dares to go much further than its original, much for the player's joy. The Spectrum Retreat brings to the Nintendo Switch catalogue a first-person puzzle game that will bring the players into a mysterious setting which they will learn more and more about as they advance, thanks to its mechanics that get gradually introduced into the game. Featuring original and well designed puzzles, a good soundtrack and intuitive controls when played on handheld move, The Room is perfectly at home in Nintendo's system and it could be even better if it was more appealing to return to on a long term basis and if its price was a bit friendlier.- FNintendo

The World Ends With You makes its premier on a home console and this Nintendo Switch version is certainly filled with elements that should attract any player's attention, from its dynamic combat system to its art style and fluid gameplay...as long as it's played on the Switch as a handheld, since the use of the conventional control system brings some interactivity problems and turns a fluid gameplay into something more clunky than it is acceptable. Regardless of that, this version of The World Ends With You is without doubt a very welcome addition to the Nintendo Switch catalogue.- FNintendo

Super Black Jack II Turbo Edition is a blackjack game under the guise of a tribute to the Street Fighter series. If this unusual conjugation could be overlooked in the case of a good game, the truth is this is a game that not only sets a low threshold but it doesn't even reach it. Beyond the nice visuals and enjoyable sound environment, the challenge level is lacking, there is no online component that could add a little extra and this is simply not a compelling and alluring experience.- FNintendo
