While its challenges are indeed interesting and its learning curve is well designed, Neverout loses in the format aspect, as well as when it comes to the repetitiveness of its art style and soundtrack.

INSIDE features a unique art style that helps this 2D puzzle-platformer stand out in a remarkable way, helping this game become unforgettable for its players, along with its quality and engaging puzzles, as well as its challenging and long-lasting experience. Inside is another welcome addition to the Nintendo Switch catalogue, which is certain to captivate its audience.

LIMBO presents itself with a unique art style which has a beauty of its own. Thanks to its style, high quality puzzles and challenging difficulty, LIMBO is a marvel of a game, which could be even better if its experience lasted longer and did not really as much on trial and error as it does.

Dillon's Dead-Heat Breakers is part of a series of games that had not seen a new iteration for several years and when compared to its predecessors, this certainly feels like an appealing, refined and fun experience. Unfortunately it's also too repetitive, which ends up becoming its biggest issue and its price does not seem fully justified for what this game is offering.

Making a strength of its simplicity, it presents the player a challenging campaign, well designed levels with a perfectly appropriate difficulty level and a nicely presented and enjoyable content. While it may feel too simple at some moments, Shift Quantum is a very welcome addition to the Nintendo Switch library.

Shining Resonance Refrain brings an RPG from the previous generation into the Nintendo Switch catalogue and while the game is full of content and features well-crafted characters and a simple battle system, it also fails to fulfil all expectations due to its cliché-ridden plot and less motivating exploration. RPG fans will still draw a valuable experience from this but Shining Resonance Refrain doesn't really stand out from other similar games already available.

It doesn't go through with all its promises, however, and the game quickly becomes repetitive, despite its decent performance on virtually every aspect, it's mostly harmed by its lack of a livelier spirit.

Blossom Tales stands as a good example at how a game with a rather simple origin can provide a surprising amount of content and a world to explore, even if it does not reach the monumental peaks it would like to. Thanks to its fine controls and gameplay and to the satisfaction of exploration, as well as to a visually charming outlook, Blossom Tales is a very welcome addition to the adventure and exploration games of the Nintendo Switch catalogue.

Featuring an interesting plot and an enjoyable open world, as well as the LEGO and Disney audiovisual quality, LEGO The Incredibles falls short on some aspects of its technical execution, as well as on its too simple combat system and long loading times.

While it may not be a groundbreaking title, it's certainly effective enough at providing some fun for a few hours, even if it feels like a game that would fit better on a simpler platform, given its sense of immediacy and rather short amount of content.

Iro Hero is certainly a very challenging and tough 2D shoot'em up whose similarities with other old-school classics of the genre will not go unnoticed. It's also a very hardcore experience, tailored mostly to players looking for a challenge of the kind, rather than for the general audience and this is where its biggest weakness lies.

Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy lands on the Nintendo Switch with a compilation of the first three games of the Crash Bandicoot series and what a welcome addition it is to the console's catalogue. Thanks to its charms, to its immense content and to a reworked visual outlook, this trilogy will provide many hours of fun for those feeling nostalgic for these games and to those curious to discover them.

BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle is a very welcome new addition to the Nintendo Switch catalogue after a long absence of this series of fighting games from the Nintendo world. Thanks to its simple but engaging gameplay and solid online functionality, this is a good quality game that only gets tarnished by its over-reliance on downloadable content.

Its overly simplistic visuals are easy to forget and its repetitive combat system does not do a lot for the player's amusement. A missed opportunity to make something more memorable that could rival the original game.

Octopath Traveler is a marvelous JRPG that will throw the players into eight individual story lines and allow for a long, rewarding exploration with a stunnning visual background and a fantastic soundtrack. While it takes a while until its qualities really become visible, this is certainly an essential game for fans of classic RPG formulas.

ATOMINE is a twin-stick shooter for the Nintendo Switch and as it may suggest, it does not venture into any new paths for the console. While its plot is original, its gameplay is less so but it's competent, nevertheless. With a minimalist visual component and a good variety of weapons and enemies, ATOMINE has enough to keep the player's attention for a while, until the overall feeling of repetitiveness takes over.

Thanks to its extremely direct control system, anyone can pick it up and play it. The problem is, the game is too simple for its own good and quickly enough, it becomes too repetitive, forcing the players to manage their time more wisely lest they end up getting tired of it.

Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus may be graphically diminished compared to its twins but the possibility of playing it everywhere more than makes up for it. With a high quality campaign and an amazing atmosphere, this version of The New Colossus will prove to be a welcome and necessary arrival on the Nintendo Switch catalogue.

West of Loathing is something particular. An adventure RPG with a bare simple art style and full of humour in a wild west setting...and it works, anyone who enjoys a good dose of humour, plenty of text, an absurd plot and who doesn't mind the rather uninspired combat system will have enough content here to go through the entire game and even to forget about the main story and get lost in all the side quests.

One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3 Deluxe Edition is a definitive version of a game that despite starting to show its age, it still offers a wide amount of content and a great variety of characters, as well as a top notch soundtrack. The game focuses a bit too much on the series' fans, however, and leaves little else to those unfamiliar with the One Piece universe, meaning it will not enlarge its audience by a whole lot.

This direct port of a previously-released game does not add anything remarkable other than the HD Rumble feature and as such, it remains the same magnificent game as the original: with a beautiful visual environment and very well implemented gameplay mechanics, Shantae and the Pirate's Curse is a wonderful game of the Metroidvania style that will keep players exploring and collecting for hours on end.

Shape of the World is unlike most games out there. Rather than a structured, narrative-driven or action-driven plan, Shape of the World proposes something more akin to a sensory experience and one which is quite successful at plunging the player in a different state, thanks to the game's eerie abstract beauty. Where Shape of the World disappoints is in its length and dimension, which feel a lot less ambitious than it could be.

Featuring a fun and simple pinball mechanic that sits perfectly on its 2D platform qualities, Yoku's Island Express is a simple but fun addition to the Nintendo Switch catalogue that is certain to bring some hours of fun to its players, even if its lifespan could use some extension. Not a game to disregard as another Metroidvania type.

Henry the Hamster is a long and challenging game, which thanks to its effective control system and mitigating circumstances that prevent the feeling of repetitiveness ends up scoring well in the entertainment scale. Alas it's affected by an audio environment which needed some work, particularly as the sound is so important to let the player know how to act.

Thanks to its humour-filled narration and to a fluid an intense combat system and marvelous visual environment, Icey manages to stand out in a very good way within the Nintendo Switch catalogue. While its lifespan could certainly be longer, the game's humorous interactions help offsetting this flaw.
