Tesla vs Lovecraft is a surprising work that brings high-paced action and screens filled with enemy hordes, precise and simple controls, an immersive soundtrack and a solid four-player multiplayer mode. It may feel a bit repetitive on a short-term basis and have few online resources but Tesla vs Lovecraft has enough to be a very interesting experience in the catalog of the Nintendo Switch.- FNintendo

PAYDAY 2 for the Nintendo Switch features plenty of content and varied missions but it cannot be seen as a fine conversion work when its AI is pitiful, the graphics are very much outdated and the one player experience is terribly dull. While it may be fun on multiplayer, PAYDAY 2 needs a lot more to stand out if it intends to prove itself.- FNintendo

Its game modes are uninteresting, its visuals have no added value whatsoever and its sound component is disastrous, not to mention the lack of an online component. While the potential for development was not great, Bingo for Nintendo Switch has nothing in its favour.- FNintendo

Football Manager Touch 2018 is the first game of the Football Manager series to land on the Nintendo Switch and while it may not be the definite version of Football Manager 2018, it's certainly a successful adaptation to the Nintendo Switch format. Thanks to its quick-paced fluid gameplay, the game can be easily played on a handheld basis and its interface fits the Nintendo Switch touch screen perfectly. While there are technical issues to solve and the game lacks an online component, this version of Football Manager is certainly a welcome contribution to the Nintendo Switch catalog.- FNintendo

Thanks to its immersive environment and plot, the players will be throw into a setting that has few peers in gaming and those in particular who appreciate horror themes will be delighted to explore the gut-wrenching moments of the game.- FNintendo

Midnight Deluxe brings with it a competent visual environment and decent control systems for a game with a rather unusual premise. Beyond that, the experience quickly loses appeal, as the difficulty level feels forced, the game becomes repetitive on a short-term basis and does not motivate the player to go further.- FNintendo

Kirby Star Allies is a good landmark for the series, as it provides a whole set of elements that fans of the iconic Nintendo character will appreciate, including the unavoidable ability to copy an enemy's ability. Where Star Allies falls behind is on its exaggerated simplification, which feels too lenient even by the Kirby standards and ends up harming the experience of what should be a more enjoyable game.- FNintendo

Detention has a flair of the first horror-themed videogames and with its emphasis on the plot, along with its involving visual and sound effects creates an unforgettable setting for the players. Overall, this is one of the best experiences of the kind that can be found in the Nintendo Switch eShop, thanks to its well-crafted plot, art style, simple but effective gameplay mechanics and involving audiovisual component.- FNintendo

While it may feel too simple at moments and its gameplay not as varied as it would be expected, it's a good departure from the Pokémon world for one of its most recognizable characters and one which will be a pleasant surprise for many.- FNintendo

Poisoft Thud Card is a card game that is simple enough to learn quickly and behaves like most card games do. Unfortunately it quickly becomes dull, as its lack of content stands out after a while and the fun provided quickly runs out. For a game that is supposed to fill empty moments with fun bouts of play, Poisoft Thud Card does the opposite.- FNintendo

Thanks to its cooperative mode, its lifespan and relatively low price, this is a game that won't be out of its depth in any good Nintendo Switch collection, even if it somehow feels like a victim of the amount of 2D platformers on the console.- FNintendo

Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 Plus is essentially an expanded version of its predecessor and one which does a very competent job at bringing the Pac-Man experience back, with all its frantically addictive gameplay that made the very first game an immortal classic, now with a cooperative multiplayer experience. While some more additions would be appreciated, this edition is certainly very welcome to the Nintendo Switch catalog, where it will find its place among the fans.- FNintendo

Old Man's Journey is an interesting work with a captivating plot and a magnificent visual component that will immerse its players in a unique experience. Its lifespan may feel too short but the quality of the game's design and the challenges presented will be more than welcome by the players and make Old Man's Journey a game that has gained its place in the growing catalog of the Nintendo Switch.- FNintendo

Bridge Constructor Portal does a very good job at blending the two series and at portraying the world of Portal in the Bridge Constructor series. The game features well defined gameplay mechanics and a long lifespan, as well as some unexpected humour, which makes up for its rather high price compared to the version available for mobile platforms.- FNintendo

The content is short on both quantity and quality, some of the minigames are just badly designed, one of its game modes is way too repetitive and dull to provide any fun and the soundtrack adds nothing to the experience. As far as party games are concerned, Scribblenauts Showdown is not worthy of the players' dedication.- FNintendo

Castle of Heart may seem appealing when looking at its still pictures but once the game starts moving, a more unpleasant reality kicks in: it's hard to control, the difficulty level is forced and at the same time, unchallenging and the game suffers from several design flaws that make this experience really difficult to enjoy. While its visuals are decent, this is not an enjoyable game to play.- FNintendo

Fear Effect Sedna marks the return of a well-regarded series from the early days of the 21st century. Featuring enjoyable animation cut scenes and a quality soundtrack, this Nintendo Switch version ends up losing to its counterparts when played in handheld mode, as many of the details become too small to be visible on the screen. Also the game's plot does not attempt to make a bridge to new players, who won't feel a connection with the game's story and its strategic component is less interesting than expected.- FNintendo

The Alliance Alive is a successful effort at justifying why the 3DS is still relevant. Thanks to its wide and varied world, well implemented sense of progression, in-depth combat system and rich visual component, this is an RPG that should feature in a great number of 3DS systems, even as the console is past its prime.- FNintendo

Fantasy Hero ~unsigned legacy~ tries to contribute to the RPG segment of the Nintendo Switch catalog and it features some interesting elements of progression but overall, its action gets repetitive and dull too quickly early on. The game's visuals and sound also betray its age, meaning that it's not in a position to provide a pleasant audiovisual experience either, which only gets aggravated by several flaws that should have been corrected.- FNintendo

Toki Tori 2+: Nintendo Switch Edition is the ultimate version of the second chapter of the series. Thanks to its beautiful art style and soundtrack, extended lifespan, overall gameplay improvements and fine-tuned difficulty progression, there is very little standing in the way between the player and the many good, fun, involving hours around this game. Truly a very recommended title for any Nintendo Switch owner.- FNintendo

Thanks to a very well crafted plot and soundtrack, this game adds something new and welcome to the catalog of the Nintendo Switch. While its combats could be more involving and the game's price is too steep for what it is, this is a very well designed piece of work that deserves its place.- FNintendo

Featuring an interesting premise and a rich, dynamic plot, Lone Wolf could improve its control system, which doesn't fully use the console's capacities, and often feels too close to its original version made for mobile devices than to a game designed for a dedicated console.- FNintendo

Darkest Dungeon is an ambitious game that features impressive details, a very complete and thorough atmosphere and a complex gameplay. Its experience ends up getting harmed by the arbitrary factors that come into play on certain moments and the overall difficulty level can be quite hard in the beginning of the game but there is no mistake in regarding Darkest Dungeon as major title within the indie scene.- FNintendo

Wanderjahr TryAgainOrWalkAway is based on the JRPG style and adds a large combat component to it, bringing along a strategic component, a fun and simple adventure and a commendable soundtrack. Not everything hits the right spot, though, as the controls are in need of a reshape, the game's plot has no sense of direction and it often feels more like the kind of game to play on a phone or on a tablet than on a gaming console.- FNintendo

Mad Carnage is simple enough to get into, which by itself is positive. Thanks to its cartoon art style and lack of technical issues, the game's first impressions are overall positive but unfortunately, this does not stand for too long, as the levels quickly feel repetitive and the gameplay mechanics end up being too simple for its own good, resulting in a game that is more dull than it should be.- FNintendo

This is a competent game that does its job right and creates something that can be enjoyed on a rather simple level. It does not fend off a feeling of repetitiveness, though, as eventually the players will start feeling that they are doing the same actions over and over again.- FNintendo

The Fall Part 2: Unbound brings back the point and click genre to a game with a captivating plot that features characters with distinct personalities and a series of puzzles that will make players wonder how they could not solve them before. While the control system could use some improvements, Unbound is an overall involving experience that will strike a chord with many players out there.- FNintendo
