Neverness To Everness is a perhaps overly ambitious title that attempts to do a little bit of everything without truly excelling in any single aspect. Indeed, while all of the game's components are enjoyable, none of them truly leave a lasting impression; ultimately, one ends up appreciating the sheer variety of the offering more than its actual quality. All of this translates into an experience that is certainly entertaining during the first few hours of gameplay, but one that risks faltering in its attempt to sustain player engagement over the long haul. It is now up to the developers, therefore, to rise to the challenge through post-launch support that simultaneously adds new content and refines what is already available.- Everyeye.it

Technically speaking, Ryse is a masterpiece. A new step in gaming evolution. Unfortunately the combat is - although fluid - suffocating: from the beginning to the end, you slash the same enemies in the same ways. After few hours, you'll start feeling quite tired.- Everyeye.it

The visual beauty and the intelligent enigmas guarantee Creaks a well-marked identity, even if devoid of that flicker of innovation and that stroke of genius that one might have expected from the authors of Machinarium and Chuchel.- Everyeye.it

After the Fall is ultimately a fun co-op shooter with very solid gunplay, penalized along the way by a general lack of variety. Net of a sustained pace, which winks at the classic arcade light gun shooter, the Vertigo Games title can also be enjoyable for the players more sensitive to motion sickness, thanks to the numerous options available for comfort. The polished Complete Edition for PSVR 2 can also benefit from the technical upgrades of the viewer, starting from the exceptional haptic feedback of the Sense controllers which manages to restore an even more visceral feeling to the use of weapons. Having a focus on multiplayer, the lifecycle of the game will largely depend on post-launch support and user traffic on the servers, which we hope thanks to cross play will remain good, at least in the medium term. If you've ever wondered what it would be like to play a Left 4 Dead emulator in virtual reality, After the Fall is simply the right choice.- Everyeye.it

On balance, Double Dragon Gaiden: Rise of the Dragons captured us with its playful system halfway between tradition and innovation and was able to give us several hours of carefree fun. It is not a perfect title and perhaps it will not reach the heights reached by the fourth chapter of Streets of Rage but it is still nice to see such an important series rise from its ashes offering both newbies and historical fans the opportunity to return to impersonate the Lee brothers and their companions. If you are a fan of the scrolling beat 'em up genre, you should definitely give it a shot.- Everyeye.it

More an experiment than a videogame per se, it mixes puzzles and micromanaging in an original way. It's frustrating though, and generally quite slow. It's a good choice if you're looking for something entirely different from traditional experiences, but not for everyone.- Everyeye.it

If Atelier Sophie 2: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Dream had been published before the furious revolution unleashed by the two Atelier Ryza, probably some of its imperfections would have seemed little compared to its merits. For some inexplicable reason Gust has in fact preferred to give up all the improvements devised in recent years to re-propose obsolete mechanics that have ended up obscuring the most important innovations of the package, such as Double Actions or the removal of the transitions between battle and exploration. In short, Atelier Sophie 2 confirms itself as a product designed almost exclusively for long-time fans who may not wait to embrace the crazy and at the same time tender bombarole by Kirchen Bell.- Everyeye.it

Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun is an inspired production, fully consistent with the intention of bringing the brutality of the miniatures game imagery into a lead and blood boomer shooter. Dispensing death is the thing that works the most, thanks to a satisfying gameplay when it comes to pulling the trigger, regardless of the weapon in hand and the quantity and variety of enemies faced. The exploratory dimension weighs down the playful experience a bit, but when the time comes to reduce the enemies to shapeless red pulp, we think less about it.- Everyeye.it

We are happy that Shadows of the Damned Hella Remastered exists. A video game that is edgy, sharp, with a recognizable soul thanks to the style of its creators and that has aged, yes, but in the right way...most of the time. There are obviously gameplay elements that are less digestible for users accustomed to new degrees of gameplay variety and fluidity of action, lacking in Shadows since 2011. However, the game is absolutely worth the candle even just to live or relive an experience filled with irreverent comedy, gratuitous vulgarity and humor "à la Suda 51". Which for true fans of the Japanese creative is worth at least half a point more on the vote below. For everyone else, one less (sorry maestro!).- Everyeye.it

Despite a forgettable story and a mixed artistic direction, The First Descendant is a solid and fun looter shooter, whose contents are accessible to everyone, even those who don't intend to spend a single penny. The current version of the Nexon game therefore represents an excellent starting point, on which the development team will have to work to make this live service an experience capable of competing with the big names from which it draws inspiration.- Everyeye.it

Darwin's Paradox! proves to be, in essence, a solid platformer—anchored by an irresistible protagonist who falls somewhere between Wile E. Coyote and Scrat, and supported by visuals and music worthy of an animated film. Admittedly, the trial-and-error mechanics—combined with a difficulty level tuned on the lower side—may render this title somewhat unstimulating and unsatisfying for those seeking a genuine challenge; however, the variety of environments and situations, coupled with the pervasive wit that permeates the entire production, ensures that players of *Darwin's Paradox!* will never fall into the trap of boredom.- Everyeye.it

It's an exciting journey that of Star Overdrive, a game that, with all its structural limitations, has proven capable of exciting and entertaining, despite the seemingly insurmountable goal that the Roman team of Caracal has placed at the base of the project. It's true, there are some naivety that do not allow it to rise to the level of other great productions of the large Switch software library but it is certainly an excellent starting point for future works, as well as an important spotlight on the crystalline talent of the company. If you are looking for a title that knows how to enhance the exploration of an alien planet, immersed in a sci-fi context inspired by rock and enriched by a series of well-made gameplay and content ideas, the story of Bios and Nous could be for you, especially by virtue of the competitive price at which it is offered.- Everyeye.it

Deck Nine knows how to make the most of its characters, and in that sense the Life is Strange: True Colors DLC doesn't disappoint. Steph's story is quite emotionally intense and will appeal to fans of the first chapter of the series especially, but it stumbles on the playful front. In about two and a half hours of duration, in fact, the expansion reiterates some game mechanics too much, making them monotonous and not very varied. An additional content that remains a welcome and exciting tribute to the protagonists of the first LIS, and that at the same time is effectively linked to the incipit of True Colors, from which however we also expected something more.- Everyeye.it

The Crysis Remastered Trilogy allows you to relive a product that at the time had pioneering traits for the industry and that perhaps for this very reason still had ample room for improvement. While at times returning an impression of a brake on, the story remains enjoyable and the approach chosen allows you to relive an experience updated to the parameters of current consoles.- Everyeye.it

Capcom aims to make a new generation of players appreciate the work done by Inafune two decades ago. Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection proposes a dozen well-maintained titles embellished by an online sector, a mode that makes the fights less harsh and a couple of goodies (patch cards, for example) that veterans of the Game Boy Advance/ Nintendo DS will appreciate. Someone will complain about the lack of some famous spin-offs, but the package offered puts more than 200 hours of gameplay on the plate (to really complete everything you will have to invest twice as much). In short, Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection is an unmissable opportunity to rediscover/recover one of the most underrated Game Boy Advance series. The only doubt concerns the price of the collection which is definitely not cheap (59.- Everyeye.it

Not A Hero is a more than discrete DLC, which confirms all the strengths of Resident Evil 7. Less survival from the original game but characterized by a rhythm that is pleasant and not entirely frenetic, it is a little extra that effectively closes the narrative parable of the seventh chapter.- Everyeye.it
