If we overlook the small discrepancies in balance (which, however, could be corrected shortly with a dedicated update program) and some content that is a little less focused compared to the high level of the rest of the production, Kirby Air Riders is a true masterclass in game design, the unmistakable fruit of the creative flair of one of the best authors that modern video games can boast.

The characters are interesting as usual, but this chapter feels a bit too slow and fragmented to really entertain.

The main strength of Nobody Saves the World is that it is never banal: it is not so in the splendid music, in the funny dialogues, in the simple plot, nor in the complex but satisfying system of the Aspects, which gives the player the possibility of mix skills and create ever new and devastating builds. In short, it is a game in full Drinkbox style, different from the splendid Guacamelee !, but from which it inherits an over-the-top style and an explosion of creativity that can be found not only in the artistic component, but in every pixel.

Ready or Not isn't the perfect simulator, but it's an excellent shooter that places users in consistently believable and detailed contexts, providing them with a myriad of options on how to operate. Net of some imperfections and a single level of difficulty that can put even the most experienced players' nerves to the test, it is the one and only spiritual heir of SWAT worthy of being defined as such.

Horizon: Call of the Mountain is a virtual reality game with an ordinary and "basic" gameplay formula when compared to the action adventures that make up the main saga. The difference, however, lies in the technology supporting the innovative features of PlayStation VR2, which enrich the sense of immersion thanks to excellent management of physics and movement sensors. All of this is enriched by a breathtaking visual frame that easily exploits the computing power of PlayStation 5 and that loudly thunders the gigantic production scope of an unmissable launch exclusive for PSVR2 owners.

Net of not so exciting content, at least as far as the main missions are concerned.

The limits of the old gen edition, especially in terms of microtransactions, are still present, but on the playful and visual side NBA 2K21 Next Gen is a game that knows how to hit the basket.

The fourteenth episode of King of Fighters is a fighting game that goes straight to the point. It doesen't get lost in useless graphical showoff, and gives back to the fans the good old combat system, flawless and huge.

Quick and funny as the PS3 episode, and even more "cool" because of the multiplayer option (extremely rare on PSP).

Pacific Drive is a title that exudes passion from every exhaust pipe, and we can only be happy for Ironwood Studios and the love placed in their debut work. It is a game with a solid and well-tested design, but not always as functional as it should. Our advice is not to give up on boarding the station wagon: you might discover that getting lost in the meanders of the Area can have its positive sides and, considering the price of the ticket, you might as well take a tour.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Exile is not only a highly successful entry in the much-maligned Musou genre, but it's also an excellent entry in the decade-long Legend of Zelda saga. Some of the genre's inherent problems remain (such as a certain underlying repetitiveness), but we're happy to confirm that almost all of the technical uncertainties that plagued the previous two installments are now a thing of the past. Whether you're a "Warriors" fan or not, if you love the imagery tied to the Hero of Time, the Triforce, and Princess Zelda, this is an adventure you won't want to miss.

Trials Rising does not innovate, it limits itself to perfecting a widely tested formula, improving, albeit marginally, almost all aspects from both a qualitative and a quantitative point of view.

Alienation is Housemarque's masterpiece. A fast-paced heir of Dead Nation, deeply integrated with RPG mechanics and loot system. Alienation is the Diablo of the Twin Stick Shooter genre, with a short campaign but an enormous endgame.

F1 Manager 2022 is a fun title with surprisingly high production values. The managerial management is deep to the right point, without ever becoming overwhelming or unnecessarily complex and some goodies such as the samples of the radio teams will surely make all fans happy. It is difficult to find real faults in what there is and it is rather what is not there that leaves a bad taste in the mouth: it is in fact impossible to change excuses, create your own team, or compete in multiplayer, to do some examples. These absences could seriously undermine the longevity of the experience and there is a risk that after a few seasons the game could become boring. Ultimately F1 Manager 2022 leaves us the feeling that the software house wanted to do a few things, but do them well and lay the foundations for a possible (and probable) annual series. If we want to evaluate it in this light, the experience leaves us extremely optimistic for the future, but at present - it is clear - we would have liked to have fun with some more content.

Gears of War is a saga that is slightly off in the course of this generation, and his star does not shine today as it did in 2006.

In the end Free Realms doesn't show anything really deep or innovative compared to what we can find in other similar games, but it's still a good way to have a first approach to an overly played genre like MMOs, collecting and presenting to the customer a great deal of minigames that can offer something different for each time we log in.

Despite the low-profile launch, at least when it comes to marketing, Deserts of Kharak deserves all of your attention. It's pure RTS bestowed with an amazing mission design, and it will take you back to the golden age of the genre. Multiplayer servers are underpopulated, but hopefully word-of-mouth will take care of that.
