For Honor is without a doubt one of the most original and satisfying multiplayer experiences of recent times: deep, multi-faceted, brutal and intelligent in its core mechanics. The feeling, however, is that the development team has not been able to fully express the incredible potential of the formula, held back especially by the choice of opting for the peer-to-peer solution.- Everyeye.it

The lack of a single player campaign is counterbalanced by the reduced price (€ 29.99); so we can also recommend it to all those who simply want to tack on an experience different from the most successful titles.- Everyeye.it

System Shock is back in a version that is a love letter to the original and to its fans, but which can also be an opportunity to rediscover an authentic video game classic for a new audience of enthusiasts. We have to overcome the obstacle represented by a gameplay that has remained anchored in the past, but - once this is done - we find ourselves faced with a memorable cyberpunk imagery, the same one that made an entire generation fall in love in the 90s. SHODAN awaits you in the Citadel: will you have the courage to face his evil machinations?- Everyeye.it

Klonoa Phantasy Reverie Series is a great excuse to recover two gorgeous platformers without having to tinker with old consoles or spend a fortune. A double remastering of the first two chapters released on PlayStation consoles, perhaps a little too intrusive the one applied on Door to Phantomile, which loses its characteristic 2D pixel art style on 3D modeled backgrounds, but all in all pleasant. Too bad for the lack of care shown for the outline, in particular UI and font of the texts, but it is an excellent birthday present for the 25 years of Klonoa, who after a quarter of a century still proves to be one of the most adorable and iconic from the PlayStation era.- Everyeye.it

If you're a zombie fanatic and your dream is to experience a believable, yet scenic, terrifying, and atmospheric undead apocalypse, Dying Light: The Beast is a title you shouldn't miss. Kyle Crane's story is a classic, at times a bit predictable, but there are many other survivors with more unique stories waiting to grip you in the numerous side missions hidden in Castor Woods. A natural setting unlike the dense cities of Techland, where small, more refined "attractions" float in a more airy fabric of woods and minor secrets, as if we were in a zombie-themed amusement park. The combat is more violent than ever, the beast mechanics are a force, and the parkour works, albeit with a few uncertainties here and there. Honing Kyle's skills will keep you engaged throughout the 30 hours required for the main campaign. Repetitiveness is present, but less noticeable, given the compact setting and storyline. As far as we're concerned, The Beast is a more thoughtful chapter, which, while not attempting to revolutionize its formula, restructures it just enough: with passion, screams, blood and lots and lots of punches.- Everyeye.it

As the Anglo-Saxons would say, Windjammers 2 is one of those proverbial cases of "history in the making": an instant classic that collects the heavy and prestigious legacy of its predecessor, even managing to relaunch on the gameplay side - or a topic on which the masterpiece hardware-based NEOGEO has had for decades to teach, from the authentic interactive game design manual it is. Of course, some of that immediacy that made the original a Pong to the nth degree was lost along the way, yet in the end (despite an inadequate tutorial) the game could be worth the candle. Also because the first Windjammers will not disappear anyway, and can always be a valid alternative for purists. Having said that it will be very difficult to give up the exasperated dynamism of this sequel and its genuine playful and audiovisual spectacle.- Everyeye.it

Age of Empire: Mythologies is one of the best strategic game available on Nintendo DS. The variety of game mode ensure a high replay value, the gameplay is deep and complex, and the graphical engine put on the screen discrete models. After Advance Wars, Final Fantasy Tactics and Fire Emblem, another great game for strategy lovers.- Everyeye.it

GTFO is a concentration of love and wickedness, the merciless manifestation of a concept as inflexible as it is created with care and dedication. Although not all the pieces of the 10 Chambers proposal have yet been filed to perfection, the title does not fail to offer its users a cooperative experience full of personality, fiercely hardcore and stimulating in the most infamous sense of the term. It is certainly not a product for all palates, and it is certainly true that the Swedish studio still has some work to do, but already now GTFO is perfectly able to offer lovers of cooperative shooter with high difficulty rate a valuable mix of anxiety and excitement, fueled by an inflexible playful formula but capable of giving large doses of satisfaction.- Everyeye.it

Marvel Rivals is a damn fun and immediate hero shooter, which also boasts a management of microtransactions that makes it perfectly playable without spending a cent. If the developers are able to manage the wave of success well and constantly release new content, it could be an experience capable of remaining on the crest of the wave for quite some time.- Everyeye.it

Despite some uncertainties and room for improvement, Arknights Endfield is an experience that will appeal not only to long-time fans of the series but also to those looking for a game that blends action sequences with a deep management component. If the idea of such a game interests you, there are very few reasons not to give it a try, especially since it's a free-to-play title.- Everyeye.it

At the time of writing this review, Dune Awakening is a product that offers Herbert fans absolute fidelity to the source material, combined with MMO gameplay that can be played very well even alone, thanks to a proven survival system that is not frustrating, but that "tests" the player just enough to encourage them to improve their skills. As it is structured "in potential", it is also a game that has not yet shown its true potential as an "MMO", which it will be able to express only when the fanbase is dedicated and numerous. There is a bright, albeit hot and sunny, future ahead of Awakening, if Funcom will be able to stage the promised global events with variety and consistency, and keep the community alive. Engaging it with new game dynamics, with sandstorms that will change the landscape and bring to light points of interest, Fremen ruins, clearings, crashed airships. As well as, with new "interactions" between players and sandworms... maybe!- Everyeye.it

Assassin's Creed Nexus VR is a successful experiment. Three already well-known protagonists and as many different eras to experience in virtual reality, from Renaissance Italy to ancient Greece, passing through a Boston in revolt. The unpublished narrative fragments and the strong sense of immersion allow us to turn a blind eye to some playful uncertainties, and give us the opportunity to experience a chapter of Assassin's Creed like never before.- Everyeye.it

Metroid Prime 4 Beyond is a solid, well-rounded game, well-executed in (almost) every way. Despite a difficult development cycle and a few poor design decisions, Samus Aran's return is a title that does justice to the saga's dazzling past and sheds new light on the future of Prime and the Metroid franchise as a whole. Eight years since that infamous logo was revealed during a Nintendo Direct over the summer; more than eighteen since the series' last iteration: the wait has been worth it.- Everyeye.it

Conceived as a smaller spin-off and also sold at a budget price, Like A Dragon Gaiden The Man Who Erased His Name proves to be another solid addition to the historic Yakuza series. Taking on the role of Kazuma Kiryu again is a pleasure thanks also to the original "Agent" fighting style, and the work is abundant enough in content to provide healthy entertainment for quite a long time. What shines above all is the story, which is shorter but therefore also more intense and which gets straight to the point, providing memorable moments and developments full of twists and turns as per the brand's tradition. Of course, it doesn't have any particular ambition and simply follows the safe path already followed by the most recent episodes, and the Dragon Engine is starting to feel the weight of the years a bit, however Like A Dragon Gaiden has achieved its goal: reintroducing Kiryu among the protagonists and prepare the way for the long-awaited Like A Dragon Infinite Wealth. Mission accomplished.- Everyeye.it
