Madden 25 has some new aspects but also the same faults of the past, showing how the lack of competition is not good to Electronic Arts products.

The second stage of the Borderlands 3 Season Pass proves however capable of offering eight hours of ballistic fury and laughter, among the links of a DLC that, while not reaching the glories of the past, is solid and enjoyable.

A nice online experience but a trivial main adventure, dull and repetitious. If you are not scared by creepy graphics, and you like multiplayer madness, you should give Transformers a chance.

Bleach: Rebirth of Souls is a love letter to Tite Kubo's work and his legions of fans. By forgoing even the slightest competitive ambition, Tamsoft has managed to translate the spectacular and even unpredictable nature of Bleach's battles into playful terms, developing a noisy and strategically-focused combat system. Unfortunately, the story mode, the online infrastructure, the roster of playable characters, and even the balance leave much to be desired, but we are nevertheless convinced that the developer has succeeded in its main intent, which was to create a tie-in that fully respects the unique and unmistakable style of the license. Ultimately, Bleach: Rebirth of Souls may not be the video game adaptation that Bleach fans deserve and have been waiting for for two decades now, but so far it is the closest thing to it.

Surfing is interesting for the first 10-15 hours of the experience (whose main quest can be completed in about 25 hours, while it takes at least twice as long to explore most of the map), but then becomes a redundant activity.

Even without any affinity with the core installment of Ridge Racer, Unbounded, thanks to some interesting game mechanics and a solid multiplayer, manages to be a good arcade racing game.

One step forward and two steps back. The handling model and the graphics at last received a necessary overhaul, but the game presents itself stripped of career and alternative modes, slightly bugged and still missing a convincing collision system. It will still please fans of the saga who don't care about progression, but for the full package we'll probably have to wait until next year.

Not only did Disgaea 6: Defiance of Destiny not turn out to be as explosive, but the product seemed to us a listless more of the same, moreover suffering from technical deficiencies that were unjustifiable to say the least.

Although the new class system has undoubtedly helped to rejuvenate the product formula a little, Square Enix's new "vision" continues to be too anchored to the traditions of the long-running Japanese saga, which this year celebrated its thirty-third anniversary. It is above all on the narrative level that Visions of Mana struggles to convince, as the title only gets into gear in the very advanced stages of the adventure and which we fear may only reach the most nostalgic fans of the series. Finally, everything is aggravated by a series of technical imperfections that we hope will be filed down through specific patches.

We hope that the next gen will bring a breath of fresh air to a series that needs to overcome some historical flaws. The air in the locker room starts to get heavy.

The graphic style is captivating, as is the sheer volume of weapons and in-game situations. Unfortunately the initial surprise of the first few hours fades very quickly, and at the end of the campaign a certain repetitiveness is accused, although the work is not particularly long-lived.

By limiting itself to increasing the already high number of unlockable creatures, which in this case has established a real record, the developer Media.Vision has not made substantial changes to the dated technical sector, recycling rather blatantly textures and polygonal models of a game launched on the Japanese market three years ago.

Although with a different nature and less fiercely hardcore, Boomerang X reminded me with undisguised enthusiasm that independent gem that goes by the name of Devil Daggers. Also in the debut feature of DANG! it all revolves around fierce, tight-knit gameplay, expertly built around brilliant controls and a fast-paced pace. Massacre legions of creeping blackish monstrosities with exasperated aerial acrobatics on the notes of an exotic oriental soundtrack proves to be a tasty satisfaction: even within its limits (starting with a price threshold of 19.99 € not exactly popular), Boomerang X is only the 'latest in a long series of targets centered by Devolver Digital.

Jupiter Hell is a richer, more concrete and more enjoyable version of Doom, the Roguelike, from which it borrows the original concept. The result is a more than valid exponent of the genre, which mixes action, strategy and a pinch of RPG without ever being too frustrating, thanks to a good balance and the ability to select different levels of challenge.

Opening up the levels could've been a great push forward for the brand, but it has brought a whole new breed of issues to the table. AI lacks perception, bugs show up all too often, and objectives are repetitive. The sniping, that still works well, even if untouched from the previous chapter.

Tchia isn't an experience for everyone, but it's perfect for those who want to take a break from the frenzy and incessant fighting. At the same time, however, the proposed features are not as captivating as we expected, and the task of keeping the playful scaffolding up is up to the leap of the soul. Between sometimes exhausting explorations and somewhat repetitive clashes, such a peculiar and colorful setting could have been better exploited and managed in a more competent way, although it manages to constitute a perfect theater to host the narrated events, which instead we appreciated more than expected.

Except for the fascinating artistic component, which starting from that distant 2007 would become Vanillaware's trademark, GrimGrimoire OnceMore is an imperfect product and not quite worthy of the fame that the Japanese developer enjoys today, also because the reissue has retained most of the defects found in the original. However, since this is one of his very first works, we recommend its recovery not so much for RTS enthusiasts, who may find it too short and shallow, but for fans of George Kamitani and his incredible team of artists.

F.I.S.T .: Forged in Shadow Torch is an imperfect production but by no means trivial: a metroidvania that does its own without excelling in any area, in any case denoting a certain expertise on the part of a team that is anything but accustomed to global stages. What is missing are only a bit of an overall vision, a sense of proportion (because the adventure is paradoxically even a thread too long) and a basic balance: sins of youth, however excusable, which cannot really affect the value of a title that can be played with a certain pleasure.
