One of the more understated games in the Resident Evil franchise gets a facepaint and a new release for the current generation platforms, but without fixing any of the archaic gameplay problems existing in the earlier games. New players beware, this is a harsh, unforgiving game compared to the newer entries. Nostalgics will likely already own this in one or more format, and have little reason to repurchase it in this upgraded version. A little more love and polish could have gone a long way to make this more appealing.- Eurogamer Sweden

Although the design is sublime and the puzzles present a healthy challenge, Escape Plan is hampered by imprecise controls and a far too slow tempo. Making the player wait for several seconds before they can start playing each and every room makes for a frustrating experience, and makes it less than perfect for playing on the go.- Eurogamer Sweden

Runespell: Overture is a puzzle RPG with quite a compelling story. The Battles are fought using a card based duel mechanic that seemingly tries to emulate the success of Puzzle Quest, but despite the nice graphics and a not-too-generic fantasy backdrop it still doesn't quite make it.- Eurogamer Sweden

With only seven levels and a very thin soundtrack I am somewhat underwhelmed by the nostalgic remake that is Tony Hawk Pro Skater HD. The lack of local multiplayer and a faulty online experience make this a very average XBLA game with a lot of unused potential.- Eurogamer Sweden

With graphics, gameplay and an approach to female gamers from the past, this game is just average. Battlefield: Play4Free is free to play, but my time is worth a lot more than this and I want my money back.- Eurogamer Sweden

The Sims 3: Seasons doesn't offer as much content as we're used to in the earlier expansions. Although, the different weathers, new holidays and return of aliens do offer some fun that can't be found elsewhere in The Sims 3. But it is way too expensive considering how little it changes the gameplay.- Eurogamer Sweden

There are very few things that Inversion manages to do that others haven't done better before, but there is some entertainment value in the game that makes bits of it a nice experience. Otherwise it's just mundane.- Eurogamer Sweden

When the surprise of all pop cultural references fades I start to see past the gorgeous graphics and the awesome music, and the disappointment sneak up on me. Retro City Rampage walks the line between being a brilliant homage and a generic copy, and in the end it relies too much on the ideas of the games that came before it.- Eurogamer Sweden

Chaotic action can be fun, but Fuel Overdose takes the concept too far. Local multiplayer would be an obvious highlight if it actually existed, but the lack of that and the sloppy controls, annoying camera and boring levels makes this game somewhat frustrating.- Eurogamer Sweden

A strong heritage results in a bland mix of mini games. To only include three competitive games (which happens to be the best thing in this compilation) is just insane, especially when the majority of the others goes from "pretty okay" to "horrible".- Eurogamer Sweden

Army Corps of Hell will most likely drown in the flood of other launch titles for Vita. It contains lots of fire, heavy metal and demons – but all in all it catches my interest for about just as long as it takes to listen through a Judas Priest album. And I'd rather spend my time doing that, to be honest.- Eurogamer Sweden

Kinect Star Wars has come a long way since it first was shown at last years E3, but it's still far too simple to leave a lasting impression. The controls are solid though.- Eurogamer Sweden

Winter Stars has high ambitions, but is terribly unpolished. If you've got the patience you'll find a few entertaining events, and the game is a rare try to make a serious sports game for Kinect.. Party gamers beware though, as the focus is set on the single-player mode.- Eurogamer Sweden

The long loading times, clumsy controls and bland presentation make Rabbids: Alive and Kicking a disappointment of old Rabbids fans. However, the minigames are fun and the four-player modes help a lot. If you're looking for a Kinect game that doesn't involve fitness or dancing this may be worth your while.- Eurogamer Sweden

Silent Hill: Downpour is yet another half-decent survival horror game in a series that, just like many other horror series, is waiting for something to happen. This eight episode of Silent Hill is acceptable and interesting enough to take you all the way through, but on the whole as a game - not much more.- Eurogamer Sweden

Rango is a licensed game that tries to break away from the movie it profits from, but it's way too short, easy and not very pretty. Clearly inspired by the superior Ratchet & Clank-series, but it fails to stand on its own two feet on all but a few occasions.- Eurogamer Sweden

SoulCalibur V fits the bill if you want a quick duel against a friend via the online or offline mode, but to be honest the unbalanced character roster, bugs and lazy design is offputting. Project Soul promised us so much more, but the end result is disappointing.- Eurogamer Sweden

A monopoly style boardgame that does very little to make use of the interactive possibilites of the medium. The presentation is somewhat uninspired and although the basic formula is entertaining, the game never takes it to the next level.- Eurogamer Sweden

Steel Divers are submarines that are just as hard to handle as their real-life counterparts. And real submarines also have periscopes. There ends the resemblance with reality, though. Steel Diver is a slow shmup in disguise that on top of it all offers very little content to the buyer – and should have remained the downloadable DSi-title it originally was meant to be.- Eurogamer Sweden

The singleplayer training missions are promising but are over in less than an hour, and the multiplayer is neither varied nor fun. A zoomed out and annoying camera together with the boring and random weapons bland this down and makes Red Faction: Battlegrounds positively average.- Eurogamer Sweden

Alice: Madness Returns a visually stunning game with great art direction. However, the game is far too long and repetitive, and due to the uninspiring and outdated level design, it never reaches its full potential.- Eurogamer Sweden

Even though some games like ”Games” and “Islands” are really fun to play a few minutes, the majority of Game & Wario is a big and utter disappointment both to Wario-fans and gamers that liked Nintendo Land. I like the idea of multiplayer sessions without the need of buying any extra accessories wiimotes or nunchucks though.- Eurogamer Sweden

Dungeon Siege III is an average game that could have been a lot better if it hadn't been for the stiff camera and voice acting, a lack of good loot and the unbalanced and differentiating difficulty curve. It does shine a little in local coop and I would mostly recommend it for someone who has some time to kill and a friend to play it with. This is however not the dungeon-crawler you are looking for if you want something to grind until Diablo III is released.- Eurogamer Sweden

Chasing Aurora is a beautiful game that can be fun to play together with four friends in short sessions. The price is a bit steep though, and the game gets repetitive fast and it doesn't offer much for the lone player.- Eurogamer Sweden

The Sims Medieval tries to reinvigorate the series, and ends up losing most of what made the previous games great, instead taking the game off into a very different and overly simplistic direction, shedding all freedom for no real benefit.- Eurogamer Sweden

SEGA Rally Online Arcade doesn't have a lot of content, the car physics lack weight and the game mechanics feel dated. But there's still some fun to be had, and the intensity and overall feel from the good old days is still intact. Unfortunately, this isn't really enough, and modern competitors have passed the SEGA Rally franchise long ago. Something for nostalgic gamers then.- Eurogamer Sweden

There is nothing that's really bad about Wheels of Destruction. The problem is that nothing is really good, either. It's not a horrible game by any means, just an average and uninspired vehicle combat game.- Eurogamer Sweden

It's the lower price point that saves Grease Dance, as the fun is limited to an evening or two. The dance mechanics leave a bit to be desired, but the songs themselves are entertaining. If you like Grease, that is.- Eurogamer Sweden
