    Rango deserved an A but on the other hand, at only four hours it is a far cry from acceptable for a game that is $50.

    Rango isn't a revolutionary action-platform release, but it is a legitimately well-made title built in the mold of the some of the genre's best, and it genuinely engaged us throughout much of the adventure. Sadly, it doesn't last for long.

    In terms of controls, fun, and general wackiness, Rango reminded me of the old Spyro the Dragon games, except not as refined. It's a sub-Spyro game, but again, for a game that was based off a movie, it is quite good.

    Delivering its own story, within the original world of the movie, Rango mixes platforming, racing, and action. Rather nice looking and easy to play, the EA game clearly lacks substance, and provides less than 4 hours of gameplay. Hours during which one will easily get bored. It's a game that will probably be best suited for the really young, or really casual.

    This game is actually surprisingly good, I thought it wouldn’t live up the the expectations I had on it since I loved it as a kid, but IThis game is actually surprisingly good, I thought it wouldn’t live up the the expectations I had on it since I loved it as a kid, but I decided To give it a go since the movie is still one of my favorite’s, the game is about Rango telling stories about his work, and you play through those stories. I’ve seen a review saying that the story of the movie doesn’t fit for a game and they didn’t even play or probably haven’t even watched the game at all, which is dumb as hell, you know nothing about the game so don’t reviews it, the game’s story is completely new and takes place after the movie you dingus, but I agree with them that it is not worth the original price. Anyways again about the game, I guess you’d call it a beat em up/platformer of sorts, and honestly, the fighting isn’t the most interesting, which bugs me, there are also these levels where you chase after things on a roadrunner, and those levels are kinda fun, the platforming itself is actually engaging, the levels and story have a lot of character in them and are enjoyable, and that’s all I really have to say… Expand

Actually, as platformers based on kids' films go, this isn't half bad - I mean, it's got Johnny Depp's actual voice! It's stolen a lot of stuff from other games, but crucially it's stolen the right stuff, like shiny thing collecting and rail grinding from Ratchet & Clank. There's shooting rodents, jumping, climbing, and firing bullets at targets in slo-mo. Plus it has tiny owls! With instruments! Wearing sombreros! Unlikely to worry any of the triple-A titles, but if you see it in the bargain bin or have sired offspring in the last 15 years, this isn't the worst use of your cash.… Expand

DO NOT buy this game it is a waste of money because games based on movies always suck try and find 1 game based on a movie that got a decent score and leave this game on the rack in whatever store sells this discrace of 50$… Expand
