Apr 3, 2011A perfectly good movie tie-in game. It has familiar, but well executed gameplay with the occasional road-runner or bat-riding diversion. This, together with good graphics and sound, makes for a tidy enough game for fans of the film. While there have been movie games to hate, this isn't one of them.

Mar 14, 2011In terms of controls, fun, and general wackiness, Rango reminded me of the old Spyro the Dragon games, except not as refined. It's a sub-Spyro game, but again, for a game that was based off a movie, it is quite good.

Mar 9, 2011It's very traditional, very solid and in gameplay terms doesn't offer anything new to the genre. Behaviour have, as mentioned, attempted to keep things fresh, but there's only so much they could do if their remit was to create a generic platformer.

Mar 8, 2011Rango is a licensed game that tries to break away from the movie it profits from, but it's way too short, easy and not very pretty. Clearly inspired by the superior Ratchet & Clank-series, but it fails to stand on its own two feet on all but a few occasions.
