It's practically the same game as the home console versions, but the lack of any kind of multiplayer really bugs me and the touch controls are more annoying than helpful. Collecting secrets and unlocking new stuff is still a lot of fun, but I really, really miss some sort of multiplayer.

Emergency 2013 lets you work those RTS-skills on daring rescue missions across a disaster-struck Europe, but several problems in the gameplay mechanics create worse obstacles than the fires and accidents themselves. The Free play mode is where the game shines but it is unfortunately underdeveloped. It's also worth noting that a major part of the game is actually the content of last year's game, Emergency 2012.

Chaotic action can be fun, but Fuel Overdose takes the concept too far. Local multiplayer would be an obvious highlight if it actually existed, but the lack of that and the sloppy controls, annoying camera and boring levels makes this game somewhat frustrating.

A strong heritage results in a bland mix of mini games. To only include three competitive games (which happens to be the best thing in this compilation) is just insane, especially when the majority of the others goes from "pretty okay" to "horrible".

Army Corps of Hell will most likely drown in the flood of other launch titles for Vita. It contains lots of fire, heavy metal and demons – but all in all it catches my interest for about just as long as it takes to listen through a Judas Priest album. And I'd rather spend my time doing that, to be honest.

Kinect Star Wars has come a long way since it first was shown at last years E3, but it's still far too simple to leave a lasting impression. The controls are solid though.

Winter Stars has high ambitions, but is terribly unpolished. If you've got the patience you'll find a few entertaining events, and the game is a rare try to make a serious sports game for Kinect.. Party gamers beware though, as the focus is set on the single-player mode.

The long loading times, clumsy controls and bland presentation make Rabbids: Alive and Kicking a disappointment of old Rabbids fans. However, the minigames are fun and the four-player modes help a lot. If you're looking for a Kinect game that doesn't involve fitness or dancing this may be worth your while.

Silent Hill: Downpour is yet another half-decent survival horror game in a series that, just like many other horror series, is waiting for something to happen. This eight episode of Silent Hill is acceptable and interesting enough to take you all the way through, but on the whole as a game - not much more.

Kirby has always managed to be fun for both kids and adults, but his latest adventure is only for the young ones. Never before has the pink little creature felt so average.

Rango is a licensed game that tries to break away from the movie it profits from, but it's way too short, easy and not very pretty. Clearly inspired by the superior Ratchet & Clank-series, but it fails to stand on its own two feet on all but a few occasions.

SoulCalibur V fits the bill if you want a quick duel against a friend via the online or offline mode, but to be honest the unbalanced character roster, bugs and lazy design is offputting. Project Soul promised us so much more, but the end result is disappointing.

A monopoly style boardgame that does very little to make use of the interactive possibilites of the medium. The presentation is somewhat uninspired and although the basic formula is entertaining, the game never takes it to the next level.

Steel Divers are submarines that are just as hard to handle as their real-life counterparts. And real submarines also have periscopes. There ends the resemblance with reality, though. Steel Diver is a slow shmup in disguise that on top of it all offers very little content to the buyer – and should have remained the downloadable DSi-title it originally was meant to be.
